Elaina let out a long slow breath and closed her eyes against the bright lights and loud noises coming from the halls and rooms of the family estate. Elaina sat in a window seat over looking the city below her, the view was one of the best in the city but, she had sat in this very spot for so long looking at the same views for so long all of the beauty that used to inspire her and take her away on adventures now lay silent and dormant....her immortal life seemed to be more of an imprisonment everyday. Nothing held any cheer or joy for her...nothing was new anymore.

Opening her eyes slowly she gazed down on the city, a scene she knew so well she'd gazed at it for centuries ignoring the droning voices of her family giving orders. Her mother loudest of all, her mothers screeching voice could cut through everyone's and the walls like a blade. It irritated her, her mothers voice more than once she'd thought of choking her mother just to shut her up. Closing her eyes she felt her eyebrow twitch in irritation, so much un-needed noise. Turning her head she glanced down the hallway and stared at the bustling servants her mother on all their heels clapping her hands like they were dogs. She supposed in her mothers view they were dogs.

Her mother was throwing yet another party. The Tsukaveich's clan was renowned for their parties they threw one every few weeks, the poor servants never got a break. Elaina herself detested all the parties, far too many obnoxious haughty and so uptight blue bloods. The only reason they would show was to show off their newest item or look or plaything it was the most tedious thing in the world to sit there with a tight little line plastered to her face while she practically choked on what she wanted to say.

shuddering at the thought she scooted off the window seat and brushed strands of hair from her face. She knew she's have to get out before her mother had servants haul her to her room and get on a ridiculously extravagant dress that she'd have bought just to show of her own wealth. Wincing she scooted along the corridor and made for the door as quickly as possible.

A few moments later she was breathing fresh clean night air and more importantly? It was dead quiet! Sighing contentedly she walked to her favorite spot near the edge of a cemetery.

RE: Teraketa's resistance

Erich sighed as he leaned back in the chair of one of the rooms. He and his clan were at the Tsukaveich's estate, another frivolous party. No doubt, they were abusing their slaves even now, forcing them to do all of the work, then to feed on them, likely killing them. It sickened his stomach, the way things had turned out after the war. The clans were way too short sighted to be in charge. Not only did it make the humans fight even harder now, even if they couldn't do anything, they would soon die off and then they would as well, without their life giving blood.

His hands clenched tightly, digging into the arm rest. The Tsukaveichs and the Giroie's, his own clan, were the worst. They displayed a complete disregard for them, treating them as no more than toys. Before the war, his best friends, Amy, was a human, She was also his tutor, they spent a lot of time together. Mid-way through the war, she was accused of being a rebel and they tried to force him, to execute her. He refused and did not know who... He was never sure if she was or not... but from that day on, he was a rebel. In the start, it was sending them information on when and where raids were going to take place, just notes. Once he was sure they trusted him, he revealed himself and has been an integral part of it. He did what he could still, taking care of the servants in the area, making sure they were fed and injuries were healed.

Recently, things had slowed down, there had been no raids, because he was able to tell them so soon, supplies were lost, but not lives. But these parties... they made a sport of over-feeding on the humans and they were frequent, the others showing off their power and wealth. Knowing his distaste for the flashy clothing, they had removed all but one of his outfits. Black leather pants, a brown shirt with a coat that opened gradually at the waist, up and down, the edges lined with gold. It ended in a high collar, that was also edged with gold. The bottom of the coat nearly reached to the ground, spreading out.

He let out a sigh, being in here... he couldn't stand it anymore as he heard shouting off in the distance, his ears flicking. He left down the halls, doing his best to avoid anyone. He escaped into the night air, breathing in deeply. He wandered around the grounds freely, as everyone was inside, preparing for the party. Everyone, except for his bride to be... He wasn't too surprised to Elaina out here either. He found it somewhat ironic, an immortal being hanging around a graveyard, when she had hardly lost anyone.

They had known each other since they were young and soon after the war, their parents had decided they should get married. It was not that he didn't like her, but that they expected him to just do it, the humans weren't the only people his family treated like slaves. He wasn't sure how she really felt about it, but knew that she hated being forced into it as well. Maybe... would she help? She hated her family nearly as much, if for different reasons, he didn't know... It was a big risk though, if he was exposed, the rebellion would be swiftly ended.

He would decide soon, get a feel for her stance on the way the humans were treated. He approached her slowly, letting his foot steps announce his presence long before he got to her. "And, yet another party, we find ourselves at. The Tsukaveichs certainly have a lot of time on their hands." He commented dryly as he leaned against the fence his red eyes focused on her. "Another lovely dress you've acquired, I see."

RE: Teraketa's resistance

Elaina sat on one of the tombstones staring into the night sky the sounds from the Tsukaveich mansion were inaudible this far out and she let out a heavy over exaggerated sigh. she rather hoped that her mother in her scurrying around would forget about her and she'd be able to miss this frivolous party. She'd been lucky before in the past and had been able to miss them, her mother of course so busy impressing didn't notice her until she needed her to show off. Usually though she didn't need her daughter to do that...or at least Elaina thought she didn't. Her mother was one of the most over-extravagant vampires Elaina have ever seen or heard of to a point of bordering ridiculous.

She wrinkled her nose in disgust, in her opinion Avlyn was the vampire version of a peacock. Shaking her head slightly she rid thoughts of her mother from her mind and glanced up at the crescent moon hanging in the sky. If only vampires had come without the need for oxygen she'd have found away into the sky above away from her families controlling grip. Glancing over her shoulder she gazed at the family estate, it dominated the hill it was built on and loomed over everything like a monster. It cast a shadow on anything and everything in it's way...she hated it.

The party would be in full swing soon enough, every prominent name and family in the society would be attending, the Giroie's were already here. The Tsukaveich's and the Giroie's were two families that were both very powerful and very strong they were also close families but, like with all "close" powerful families one always gossiped behind the others back while smiling while they were around it made her very sick. Both the clans were prominent in the Vampire society...in fact both Giroie's and Tsukaveich's lineage could be traced farther back than almost any others, this made them well respected and well feared.

The Giroei's had a son named Erich, they had been friends for...well since they were children. They had grown up together they had been close friends...and then their families got it into their heads to unite the Giroei's and the Tsukaveich blood lines and they were going to use their children as pawns in their scheming. Every other clan thought this an excellent idea but, after that a sort of rift appeared between herself and Erich. Neither of them liked the idea of being controlled and coerced by their families in fact Erich's blatant hatred for his family rivaled her own. She had, had a crush on Erich before their family had popped the news on them but, afterwards they both sort of pulled away. Now, she wasn't sure how she actually felt about him, they still talked and were still friends but, things always felt off to her ever since then and it made her hate her family even more for it. To be honest she didn't know how he'd even felt about her.

Blinking she refocused herself realizing she'd been letting herself sit and seethe in the depths of her anger for too long and hadn't immediately noticed the approaching footsteps. Turning her head slightly she saw Erich and a small sly smile etched itself onto her lips as he approached slowly his footfalls an announcement to his presence. "Ah, well...you know how our families live now that the war is over..." she said with a slight shrug of her shoulders. We are always taught as vampire to be eloquent, elegant and perfect and yet they throw those parties and gorge themselves till they are about to burst..I don't find much eloquence or elegance in that." she said with a small sigh. Reaching her hand up she brushed stray strands of hair from her face as he came to rest next to her.

At the comment of her dress she sighed heavily, she knew he had a distaste for overly flashy clothes and was glad she had managed to slip out before her mother had forced her into the dress she'd planned on having Elaina wear. "Thank you, you should have seen the gaudy thing my mother had planned for me to wear." she said with a shudder. "Seems like this might be one of the bigger parties of the year..." she said closing her eyes. She knew that the human servants would be in danger tonight. Lifting her eyelids slightly she looked over at Erich, the moonlight made his brilliant white hair glow in such a flattering way. "You look dashing yourself Erich." she said looking out towards the town. "Whats on your mind tonight?" she said without glancing at him.
