A young girl shivered in her cage, as she looked up, upon hearing footsteps. A thin film of sweat clung to her neck and her forehead as she whispered. "They're coming." As she said this three men in white lab coats walk in and rap upon each of the ten cages. Each "experiment" as they were called awakened.
There was five boys and five girls. Each one was different and each one were orphans that were taken from the orphanage because they were trouble kids, who were most likely never going to be adopted. They loved to cause mischief and sometimes a few of them such as the older ones got into trouble with the law. There were five girls, the youngest being five years old and the oldest being sixteen. Then their were five boys, the youngest be seven years old and the oldest being seventeen.
They weren't always this way, it started about a year ago. They were like a family these ten, always protecting and looking out for each other. That is until a van had pulled up one day and had inquired about them. It was a mysterious van, completely black and..................just something about it gave you chills down your back. As the men that were inquiring about them signed some papers they turned and ushered them into the van. They had no choice, but to go, either that or face lockdown at the orphanage again.
That is when it happened as they crawled and shoved into the van they were each shot with a tranquilizer dart and fell fast asleep. Soon they had awakened and found they were strapped to tables. They tried to scream for help, but it was too late. As each girl and boy were injected with serum from different animals.
The five girls had the serum from an eagle, a cheetah, a horse, a dolphin, and a wolf.
Meanwhile, the five boys had the serum from a shark, A tiger, a hawk, a bear, and a Komodo dragon.
Now what did this do to them first off?
The young boy and girl who were injected with the serum from the eagle and hawk, gained perfect and deadly vision, gained two massive wings and gained sharp hearing.
The young boy and girl who were injected with the serum from the cheetah and tiger gained sharpened teeth, night vision, claws that could retract into their hands and come out of their hands, and of course amazing speed.
The young girl and boy who were injected with the serum from the dolphin and shark gained gills to breathe underwater and on land, they gained amazing swimming skills, and they sharpened teeth as well.
The young girl and boy who were injected with the serum from the Bear and the Wolf gained super stength, hunting skills, sharp hearing and sharp claws as well as sharpend teeth.
Last but not least the young girl and boy who were injected with serum from the horse and the komodo dragon gained speed, the ability to withstand heat and ice, sharp hearing, and gained the skills necessary for healing.
Then there were the five scientists who had taken the ten orphans from their home. They were cruel and evil, when they realized that the "experiments" posed a threat to society, they locked them down in cages and tortured them. That is until the oldest boy and girl plot against them to escape.
Now they will face the real world with their powers for the first time ever. What will happen now?
