Haruka sighed as she walked up to the house of her new master. The psychic wore a rather skimpy maid outfit, as the shop owner had commanded, and had her hands tied behind her back in order to keep her from fighting the guards. "I hope you avoid skycrapers today..." She said cryptically as she sat down on the porch and waited for her master to answer the door. She didn't plan to stay here long and the moment she could, she was going to be running full speed back home.

A mysterious person, dressed in black clothes opened the door. "Come in girl," he said, showing his teeth. "My name is Xix and I'm your new owner. I know that your name is Haruka and that you are very good in getting rid of your former owners but don't try anything on me," Xix continued. As he waited next to the door for her to come in, he looked at the girl. She looks better then the ones I've had before, the other ones weren't really healthy but this one sure looks healthy, he thought as he licked his lips. Although he was a bit bigger then Haruka, it wasn't really good to see with the bare eye.

Haruka scoffed as she stood up and walked into the house. "Let's get this straight. I'll make lunch, dinner, and dessert for you and I promise I won't poison any of it. After that, we won't talk much, maybe tell a little about each other, go to bed, and when you wake up, I'll be gone. That's just how the game goes." She said, obviously not in the least bit frightened up him. Even though he was bigger than her, she could also predict what he would do. Stepping to the right, she headed towards the kitchen as if she already knew where it was. As she began to pull out pots and pans, she arranged them on the stove the way she wanted them before she began digging through the fridge. "How does chicken and shrimp pasta with a buttery lemon and basil sauce sound for dinner? I can also fix a ham sandwich or some soup for lunch." She offered. Haruka had gotten very good at hiding her fears from people and the fact that he was a vampire scared her as it was, but if he learned her other fears, she knew she was screwed.

"Wait one second, GIRL," Xix said. "I'm not as soft as your former owners were so you shouldn't act like this around me. Or YOU will be my lunch, my dinner and my dessert for this day." He smiled at her. "You can't run away. This area is highly secured." Xix followed the girl wherever she was going at the minute. "You seem to have a lot of experience so I'm okay with the chicken, pasta and that sauce." As he sat down in the kitchen, he putted of his jacket and laid it on the table. "It's quite easy though. You probably have noticed that I'm a Vampire and I'm very obeying to the rules of the Vampirism so I'll stick to the rules and you are going to listen to the rules I say. Otherwise, you'll be my lunch as I said before." He smiled as he looked at his new slave, most people that he had encountered before were all scared of him so this one was going to be same as them. "Any questions?" His hands went trough his shadow black hair and his red eyes were focused on the hands of Haruka.

"Try me. I've gotten out of harder places before." Haruka replied over her shoulder as she began to cook the shrimp. Setting the chicken out, she filled the sink with hot water so that it would help unthaw the chicken faster so that she could cut it up. Hearing his threat, she laughed and quickly snatched up a rather large chopping knife. "Listen here. If you're going to try and take a bite out of me, then this is what is going to happen. I'll end up pulling a Buffy the vampire slayer on you or we can reenact what happened to Dracula in the movie Van Helsing. Guess who's going to play Van Helsing? Now, mind putting those extra large canines of yours away while I cook?" She asked sweetly before putting the knife down and turning her attention to the noodles. If he listened, her heart rate barely went up by about two beats. Either he could take it as a sign that she wasn't afraid, or that she was great at hiding it. Either way, the psychic didn't take too kindly to threats.

Muttering under her breath as she bent over to put one of the pots away, since it was taking up room and she didn't need it at the moment, she blushed faintly as she felt her skirt raise up to reveal her slender waist and lovely red and black silk boyshorts that had a black lace trim around the edges.

"Look Haruka, I'm not a bad person nor I'm going to try something on you if you just act normal around here," Xix said, laughing. "I think that you don't want to leave this place after this day. And try to kill me like Van Helsing or Buffy would try, I'm not a stupid Vampire." Suddenly, he stood up, took his jacket and walked around the table. But when he saw those boyshorts, he knew that this was going to be fun. Well, she isn't going to end like my dinner then. I'm just going to analyze this girl and find out what she is scared of. Then I'll be there to do whatever I want... After a walk around the table, he sat back down on the chair that he was on before. "Do you need any help, Haruka?" He offered politely. A Vampire that was very strict on the rules of Vampirism was going to act like a gentlemen in every kind of situation and wouldn't hurt a person that's close to him unless he feels like he is in danger. But there was one thing that he had noticed, he was a Vampire for a long time already so he noticed that her heart rate went up a bit but that could be from everything. By thinking about it, he figured out that she had encountered a Vampire before that she met him.

Haruka shook her head. "I've got it." She said after grunting softly and maneuvering the pot lid out from the back of the cabinet. Standing up, she brushed her skirt back down and proceeded to cook. It took roughly forty minutes before she was almost done. Sighing at the scent of the chicken grilling, she closed her eyes and relaxed against the counter. Yawning softly, she decided that she could probably use the left over chicken for their lunch. Once it was done, she put most of the chicken into the pot with the rest of the food and added the sauce before sliding it into the oven to keep it warm for the moment. Using the rest, she quickly made some chicken salad and handed it to Xix. "There is your lunch." She said before sitting down.

Haruka had never been around vampires but having dealt with her past few masters who had been demons, she knew how to control her heart rate. As she closed her eyes once more, she was fast asleep in minutes. Slowly, she began to slide to the right before the she woke up momentarily. Looking around, she put her head back down and resumed her nap. As she moved a bit in her sleep, her face seemed more relaxed and more like an open book.

"Okay," Xix replied. He waited for the dinner and it smelled good. "The meal that you are preparing smells really good Haruka. I can't wait to taste it," he said with a smile. "Thanks," he said as he accepted it and putted it down in front of him. "Well, Haruka, it looks really good and are you hungry?" Of course, he wasn't going to forget the girl. Xix tasted from it and a smile appeared on his face. "Your cooking skills are really good. To bad that you want to run off. I would pay to get a dinner like that." As he tried to break the ice, he couldn't really keep his eyes from her body, she was looking good... Really good.

When he saw that she was falling asleep, he decided to do something for the girl. He went out of the room towards the living room, he took a blanket and took it towards the kitchen. Still seeing the girl asleep, he laid the blanket on Haruka. "Good night," he whispered very softly. When the girl was peacefully asleep, he sat back down and continued to eat, still analyzing the girl.

Her eyelids fluttered open for a moment when she felt something warm on her and smiled before dozing back off.

Roughly an hour later, Haruka sat up and stretched before looking around. "I can't believe I dozed off like that at the table..." She muttered before her stomach growled. "Guess I could use some food right now." She muttered to herself as she stood up and began to fix a salad. Munching away, even once she finished her salad, she was still pretty hungry. Getting back up, she slipped on the blanket and tripped, her plate sliding out of her hands and breaking on the floor. "Crap." Haruka began to pick the pieces up, not caring whether Xix was there or not. She didn't feel like stepping on it later. As she continued to collect the pieces, she didn't realized the she had cut her hand in three spots thanks to the shards. Sweeping up the floor, just in case she missed a few pieces, she threw the rest away before she spotted the blood. Sighing, she used her good hand to fix her plate and everything so that she couldn't get any droplets of blood on the food or her utensils. "Dinner time!" She called out.

Xix had went to the living room when he had finished his dinner. But he heard a plate breaking on the floor, he walked towards the kitchen and saw the girl collecting the pieces. Not knowing that she was going to cut her hand, he looked at her hands at the moment that the snaps were made. Xix hoped that Haruka hadn't noticed him yet and at the moment that she was sweeping, he was gone, he had left the doorpost and was back in the living room. "I'm coming," Xix replied to her. He stood up and walked towards the kitchen. "How are the three little wounds in your hand? Do they hurt a lot?" Xix asked, caring about what happened to her. "Do you want me to heal it?"
A Vampire could heal others their wounds using some of their own blood on the wounds of the person. It wasn't dangerous nor special, it was just a small remedy that Vampires used during wars to heal humans that were in an alliance with the Vampires.

Haruka looked down at her hand and nodded. "If it involves you biting or licking the wounds, no. Anything else, okay." She replied as she held her hand out to him. She wasn't used to her masters being kind to her and it was throwing her off completely. She was used to yelling, and cursing, and being punished for disobeying. Then again, all she had done was basically obey him in a round about way. Growling under her breath, she wondered how much longer she had to go until she could take a shower and truly relax.

Xix walked towards her and sat down on the ground. "It involves biting but I'm not going to bite you," he said with a smile on his face. He showed his wrist and bite himself, making two wounds in his wrist. "This can hurt a bit but it is not dangerous," he said as he took a drop of blood on his finger and started to put it on the wound of Haruka. It was going to burn a little bit but that was only because it was going to speed up the healing process. "Does it feel better?" Xix asked, he looked at Haruka and then continued, "Now that this had happened, you can have a shower and take some free time. You deserve that and I'm not hungry anyway so if you already had something ready, just but it in the fridge. We can still eat that after you have showered and had some free time." He stood back up and walked towards the hallway. "If you walk up the stairs and you look to the left, the white door is the door to your room and the dark brown one is the one to the bathroom. Just that you know."

Haruka tensed up for a moment before she saw him bite his own wrist. Cringing lightly, she nodded and watched as he put the drop of blood onto her wounds. Hissing softly at the slight burning sensation, she made a face until all that was left was a tingly feeling. "Lots. Thank you." She said as she looked down at him. "First, I think I'll eat some of my dinner and then shower, if you don't mind." Haruka replied as she watched him walk towards the hallway. Nodding, she turned her attention back to her dinner and ate up.

After putting his food away and cleaned the dishes, she headed up the stairs and went to the white door. Opening it up, she smiled and ran to the bed, flopping down onto it. Relaxing completely, she rolled onto her back and stared up at the ceiling for a few minutes before she looked around for a towel and some washcloths. Finding a few, she stripped down and wrapped up in her towel before walking into the bathroom. She took a long hot shower and finally stepped out when she felt like she was completely clean. Walking back to her room, she smirked as she slipped her outfit back on and opened the bedroom window. Sitting on the ledge, she estimated how much of a drop it was going to be before she began tying her bedsheets together. Tying her make-shift rope to the bedpost, she began to slowly slide down to the ground. "Adios." She muttered as she saluted the house and took off running.

"No problem," Xix said as he stood back up. "I don't mind that." He walked out of the kitchen and went to the living room, he sat down in the couch. Being a smart Vampire, he knew that something was wrong when it was that silent upstairs. Before the silence, he had heard her walking between the rooms and take a shower but it was just to quite right now.

"Adios? Really? That's not really original isn't it?" Xix said as he jumped out of a tree. "As I said Haruka, I'm not like your other owners and you can't run that easily away from me. I'm faster then you so don't try it again, okay?" He hoped that this was scaring the crap out of her because normally nobody would see somebody slipping out of the window. "Perhaps, next time you need to think about something as distraction... And not do a plain escape anymore." It was quite weird that he knew that she was going to run of but he just knew it. "Let's go back to the house?" He insisted.[/i]

Haruka screamed as he jumped out from behind the tree before clutching her chest. "If you think that's going to happen, you've confused me with the wrong girl." She glared at him as she took off running as fast as she could. There was no way she planned on being someone's slave. As she let another vision take her, she easily managed to run away from him. Stopping as she neared a park, she panted and sat down on a bench as she tried to rip her collar off.

"Good journey," Xix said on a rather joking way. He just let the girl run, he was going to find her anyway. After a time of 15 minutes, Xix looked up to the sky and said to himself; "Well Xix, Haruka had enough time to run away so let's have some fun now." Looking in to the direction that Haruka want, he started to run in the same direction at his in-human speed. But when she stopped in the park and sat down on the bench, Xix appeared. "Here we are again!" Xix said with a smile. "Let me help you with the collar, always hated those things," Xix offered as he ripped off the collar without hurting her though. "Better?"

Growling under her breath, Haruka mumbled about how irritating this was growing for her. Sighing softly, the pyschic held still so he could rip the collar off. "Thank you... think we could hang out for a while? I hate being stuck in a house after finally getting out of my cage. Let's go party, let's do something!" She said as she jumped to her feet. It was probably obvious how she had felt like a caged bird.

"No problem," Xix replied and he stood back up. "I know a place where we can go but there is only one little problem. It's a club which only allows Vampire and their servants. So if we go there, you really need to act like my 'servant' and you can't run to somebody else then. If you try that, other vampires consider you as their prey and then we are in big problems." The club that Xix was talking about was called VampTasy and was the best club, which allowed Vampires, in the region. The only thing that Xix hoped was that Haruka could control herself there.

"Sure, as long as none of them look at me like I'm a meal... But don't you think we should change if we're going to a club?" Haruka asked as she gestured to her clothes. They were pretty dirty from her running away from him after all. She didn't want it to be obvious that she had tried to run from him before they went clubbing.

"No, they won't. But they will if you behave like their meal, just try to stay close to me and act like mine then nothing is wrong," Xix said. "And of course, it's best to change our clothes before we go to VampTasy." Slowly, he lifted up Haruka and started to run towards his place once again. "That is a bit faster then when you are running," he joked. When they were inside, he walked up the stairs and returned with a black dress, a red dress and a purple dress. He laid then down on the table and then asked: "Which one do you prefer to wear? I also have other clothes but these are the ones that I like most."

"Good. I wouldn't want my master to be the laughingstock of the club." She said with a smile. Gasping as he picked her up and began carrying her to the house, Haruka held on tight until she was finally on her feet once more. "Hmm... I like the red one." She said with a smile before going upstairs to freshen up. When she returned, her hair was in soft ringlets that fell down her back and framed her face just right. "What do you think?" She asked with a giggle as she twirled for him.

"I'm glad that you like the red one. It's my personal favorite but that's probably because of the color," Xix joked. When she returned, his mouth literally fell open. "It looks better on you then I expected it to be," Xix said. He loved how she was looking, just loved it. "Do you want to be carried or do you want to go with a limousine?" Xix could call a limo whenever he wanted because it was a privilege for the rich Vampires that were frequent visitors of the club.

"Mmm... you choose." Haruka said as she shrugged her shoulders. "So, is there any special protocol I should follow while at the club? Or just be my usual fiesty and playful self?" She asked with a giggle. Walking up to him, she hatted her eyelashes at him playfully.

"Let me call somebody," Xix said as he took his phone and dialed the number of VampTasy. "Yes, it would be nice if you could send a Limo right away. Yes, for two and can you place two bottles of champagne in the cooler? Thanks, that would be nice." The conversation with the man on the other side of the phone wasn't really long. "They are going to send a Limo right away," he said to Haruka. "There isn't really a protocol. You just need to be yourself but you should stay close to me." When he was done talking, he winked at her.

"Yay!" Haruka cheered. Winking back, she playfully spun away and began twirling around the living room. Gasping as she accidentally bumped into a table, she quickly stepped back and made a silly face at Xix. "So, how long have you been a vamp?" She sat down and patted the couch cushion beside her. She was fairly interested and since she trusted him, she didn't plan to run away again unless he hurts her.
