Now that I've got your attention, let's begin.
First, a link to my F-list
Hi, browsed around to see what the best manner in which to go about doing this would be, and it seems that a straight forward, just up front and brunt manner may be best. SO INCOMING LIST.
And now for a list of things that I like!
And for stuff I just -can't and won't- do... sexually. I mean, there can be death, but I'm not getting off to it.
stuff like that.
AND NOW... pairings! c:
And that's... it for now? <.<
I'll update and add more later, I guess.
SPEAKING OF LATER. NOW IS LATER

Plots!
Plot Idea #1 - World Domination Incorporated
It's the perfect job, at a glimpse, reasonable hours, provided healthcare, free cafeteria on site, and the feel of an office at a beach resort. Sure, the products made here are made in ways that not only kill off multiple species every day, and are potentially dangerous to simply own, but the pay is great! Besides, there are so many new species of animals produced here, that it's okay for some to die. The only worry is when those pesky 'Heroes' come onto company property to ruin our GLORIOUS MARCH towards consumerism. Pain they are, if only someone could put a stop to them.
We need a better legal team.
Plot Idea #2 - Far Cry of the Republic
In the distant colonies of the New World are the discontent citizens of the Crown, rabble-rousing and spreading treasonous ideas. They seek to make themselves independent of out benevolent rule. The aristocracy is at arms over this, as young nobles thirst for the blood of revolutionaries over seas. As the mighty empires of steam roll forth across the globe, this revolt may see rise to a new age in this era of scientific progress
Plot Idea #3 - Hard Artificial Intelligence ( heh, puns )
A roboticist ( or machinist depending on the setting ) has finally created, not only the first true humanoid machine capable of replicating normal life, but also able to reprogram itself, and learn. The beautiful creation is naive now, but it will grow smarter, and improve itself, evolving, as it were, at an accelerated pace. Unfortunately, such developments have caught the eye of the wrong interest groups of the State, and they will do most anything to acquire the desired projects for themselves.
Plot Idea #4 - A Twist and a Screw
As emotions get heated over the issue of "What is Art" as a new display at the local Modern Art Museum brings down the wrath and wroth of the political and religious right, the thought of what is love, and what is deviance spreads like wildfire through the city. It's almost infectious, as the network of relations between people slip from platonic, into something more. Is it just the mind becoming free from such art, or is it as the churches say, and it's simply a dark spell cast upon the people that they need to repent for falling under?
Plot Idea #5 - Warring Nations
After a century of war, two rival kingdoms along the border between the fields and the sands have finally made peace. The nobles of the kingdom upon the fields have arranged for the heir to the throne to marry the fifth child of the second kingdom. However, the Knight Commander of the fields is against the marriage, seeing the cease fire and peace as a sign of weakness of what he thinks as a vastly superior force that of the rival kingdom. Furious at this, he begins to conspire with elements to prevent the marriage from occurring, even willing to go so far as regicide to ensure the war lasts longer.
Plot Idea #6 - The Genesis Project
The Chicagoan city of Kuakilla is home to many costumed vigilantes, as well as seedier gangs of misfits and cretinous blighters. From the human supremacists, to the metal head mechanist diesel-punks, and the roaring rival families of mooks. The premier hero of the city is Genesis, the first hero to take up 'the cape' and crusade against the criminal elements of the town, making way for those from all districts to rise up as well. However, after Genesis goes missing, his entourage begins to make contacts with the disassociated vigilantes of the town, to try to get him back.
( I have a lot of stuff on this plot and setting. PM for more if interested c: )
Plot Idea #7 - The Oblivion Sea
This... is big. And I can't think of a way to shorten it. So, here we go...
Repost from something I did on another site c:
Plot Idea #8 - The Great War
Human development has split between two distinct branches of thought, as the mighty iron works of the old world roar to life as plumes of toxic smog bellow out of the smokestacks atop machines of war, while elsewhere the genome has been cracked, and forceful evolution has become viable to reshape the world. Biotechnology has risen the costs of food, forcing swathes of land to be utilized only for food cultivation, while the smelting furnaces of molten metal of the other path has left land torn for mines and factories. Industry and Nature have become seemingly diametrically opposed, as the nations roll into war, with the assassination of a prominent business behind the maws of oil and steel.
Various paths to play in this setting!
Plot Idea #9 - The Resource War
For many years, the empires of steam have held taut their grip upon the sciences and technologies of the world, but it was thought that they had reached the upper limit to what could be accomplished by such fuels. Even with the strongest and tiniest pipes forcing pressure through valves and systems, there is still a barrier that seems to yet be breached. The remarkable work of brilliant, perhaps even mad scientist, has brought forth a new power source, untapped from the elements themselves, much like steam, only far more dangerous if mishandled. The lightning machines surge forth with more lithe mechanics, to challenge the steam that birthed them. Elsewhere, the black tar flowing beneath the ground, as cultivation of the morbid fluids has brought about its own contrary revolution. Where the powers of electricity have thus far only allowed for more lithe machines ( less reliable than those powered of steam ) the chemically powered diesel machines are bulky, behemoths compared to either of the other power sources. With nations jumping ship from steam, pulling away profits from the companies and nations that depended on them, it was only inevitable for war to break out, for resource supremacy.
SO MANY ways to go about this one...
Way #1 - Aristocracy and Plutocracy
The RP would take place in one of the smaller neutral nations of the old world, where steam is still deeply enbedded, but there are trends for things to shift ( either towards Chemical power or Electric ). However, as things have grown to bee that the Aristocracy is essentially embedded into the industries of steam, the growing influence of new power sources and machines has allowed the rise of business ventures that now wield power and funds that rival the long standing Aristocracy. The new Plutocracy ideology where the upper class shouldn't be born into it, but work into it becomes threatening to the old ways. And with war breaking out, internal turmoil rages even as the state stays technically neutral in the war, instead fighting a proxy war between powers in the great war.

Plot Idea #13 - AI Hardly Knew Her
And another <.<
Plot Idea #14 - Let Them Eat Cake
Okay, this is probably my weirdest idea of all that are here, but, uh, hear me out? I'm curious about trying out a plot and setting wherein one of the characters ( you, not me <_< ) is... like, a person, made of anthropomorphic cake. Like, they'd be able to harden themselves into a more solid form, but also soften to something more like cake, and... I think I may be willing to try a degree of vore with this, if the cake girl ( or fut-- oh god a futa would be awesome as this. ) was like, a science expierment, and able to regenerate from eating other things, and if being eaten felt good, so I could be sucking on your fingers and then nibble one off or something... I dunno, weird idea, yes, but, eh, this place has plenty of other weird ideas, so, why not?

Hi, browsed around to see what the best manner in which to go about doing this would be, and it seems that a straight forward, just up front and brunt manner may be best. SO INCOMING LIST.
- I'm new here, but I've already kinda dived into that chat thing with the open close stuff, and that may be an easy way to contact me. Further, Private Messages or just responding in here ( Can you do that? ) may work too. Most likely, will.
- I play a variety of roles, but I prefer futanari. Failing that, I can play male or female, but I have a female preference.
- I can get fairly wordy, and actually enjoy fair prose while RPing. Plot, descriptions, and events are nice, if not the focal point of my work. Sex tends to be, while extremely sexual, not the focus.
- Proper grammar and spelling are nice, of course.
- I'm not a fan of MxM, with some exceptions. Such as M x Trap. If you want a solid MxM, that isn't for me, sorry :c

Plot Idea #7 - The Oblivion Sea
This... is big. And I can't think of a way to shorten it. So, here we go...
Yau, A World of Spheres and Memories
Yau, the world without end, is a strange place indeed. From the heavens grows the vast and incredible Memory Spine, a strange structure of pure abstract energy, made from the thoughts, and memories of all things. From every tip of the lightning roots across the sky holds a Reality Sphere, a completely self contained world, with all of its sorts of life and souls within it, blossoming and feeding the Memory Spine to which it's attached. Beneath it all is the seemingly endless Oblivion Sea, where waves of nothing crash against the Faded Reefs, that cling to the underside of the Reality Spheres.
The Memory Spine
It is currently not known if life came from the Memory Spine, or if it came from life itself, growing from some Reality Sphere, perhaps one even now forgotten, the growth able to sustain itself after its original host fell into obscurity, a flower with roots spanning the heavens, as a tangled mesh of stems stretch downward, the blossoming bulbs of Reality Spheres spawning from the outstretched hands of creation and fate.
The structure of the Memory Spine itself is hard to determine, all knowledge of its form is pure theory and speculation, as no physical instrument is able to directly touch it, nor is any life, the entirety of it instantly melts away whatever touches it, and draws it instantly into itself, with a searing heat scarring all that does happen upon it. It is currently theorized that the Memory Spine is the polar opposite of the Oblivion Sea, as the former is pure energy, light, and heat, the other is cold, dark, and empty, the void that looms below all existence.
The Reality Spheres
Dangling from the tendrils of the Memory Spine, are the multitude of the Reality Spheres, suspended in the air above the Oblivion Sea. From outside, the spheres seem to be elaborately decorated, encrusted with a golden glow, intricate designs are embedded into the crust, changing as the sphere ages, and its ties to the Memory Spine are changed, as well as whatever lives within the sphere.
The contents of the spheres are wild and different from sphere to sphere, the Core Reality Spheres in the assumed core of the Memory Spine holds the largest amount of biodiversity seen in any sphere, as well as the most matter and contents period. From the multicellular mutualism of the species, to even the various self contained ecosystem supporting creatures, entire countries upon the backs of creatures walking the lands, or swimming the oceans.
In other spheres, life arose differently, with mutualism never able to take such a prominent role, and solitary development and independence became key, due to waves of extinction rocking the ecosystems. Some of them are alien and surreal, entire suns locked simply away with a sphere, a super novae held ad perpetuum and beings of ember and plasma swimming about the core of the sphere, lacking solid mass to build upon to create anything other than blazon landscapes of fire. Still others the heat within is blistering, where lakes of boiling iron bubble and pop with landscapes of still other metals, as writhing masses of sheen sharp metallic life flutters across the lakes and the air of burning sulphur.
Where spheres are capable of intertwining, their life able to survive in other spheres beyond their home, there are massive bridges built between the Reality Spheres, connecting the worlds through safe passage, beyond what can be granted by attempting to harness the Memory Spine.
The Oblivion Sea
Down below everything, further than even the lowest reaches of the Faded Reef, is the Oblivion Sea. How exactly it exists, and to what purpose is unknown. Some have aptly nick named it Hell, where things go to die, and never be seen, heard, or remembered again. While it has yet to be proven, it is conjecture that the sea has metaphysical properties, rivaling and opposing the Memory Spine. Anything that falls into the Oblivion Sea is forgotten, erased from Memory, and removed from space.
The only tests well documented on the sea, known as the Oblivion Study, tell that as the recording devices were lowered into the sea, exactly what it was, that was lowered, was ripped from their minds. The only thing that showed they had lowered anything at all was a recording, showing them do it. The Oblivion Study goes deep into the issue and also draws a link from the Memory loss to a growth in the Faded Reef clinging to their own Reality Sphere, even if the tests are done far from their home itself, once their equipment was lowered into the sea, their home reef grow larger, ever so slightly.
The Faded Reef
A strange structure of the Faded Reef is understood to be spawned by the Silver Rivers that flow from the edges of the Reality Spheres slowly darkening until they drain into the Oblivion Sea. The rivers are icy cold, and imbue one with a great feeling of deja vu, not at the river itself, but as if a thought, an old Memory was being relived, and they couldn't remember which. In some cases, the river solidifies in strange places, forming the odd and ethereal reef of silver. Even if the fluid of the river is mid fall, just above the Oblivion Sea, it will freeze in its place, becoming a disconnected portion of the reef, suspended in air until it washes away, or the reef grows out to catch it.
It has recently been learned that the Faded Reef plays a pivotal role in the growth of a Reality Sphere, offering a strange foundation for the golden growth, as well as adding a barrier between it and the dangers of the nothingness below, so that when it does grow, and the Memory Spine does not lift it higher into the air, it may be safe. And on the dark day when the Memory Spine lowers it back down, as the root it holds on to grows weak, that it may have time to stay afloat and continue to live.
The Importance of Memory
Memory is perhaps the strongest intangible force in Yau, a key component in the Memory Spine which keeps all alive and well, and the worst dread about the Oblivion Sea, which makes those forget about whatever it was that fell into the sea in the first place, making it lost if not for documentation of the item, or person. Whether remembered in the mind or recorded in physical form, a Memory is a powerful force, enabling the worlds to grow, as simply the knowledge of a Reality Sphere helps to enhance its own growth, while forgetting about it cripples and rots the world from the inside out. As such, there is a lot of importance placed upon Archives.
The Importance of Archives
The center of any civil establishment and government that has reached understanding and contact with the other Reality Spheres, are the various libraries and Archives of the people, where history is recorded, from events to peoples of all sorts. By keeping all Memory written down so that it can't be forgotten, the people enable their own home to grow in power, and last longer. On the same note, when so much power and strength lies in a single structure, or series of them, they become key targets during times of war. It is undocumented how many historical Archives have been destroyed, for fear that recording that as well, will allow it in some way to return, for even the weakest of Memory can give great power.
Death within the Reality Spheres
While life in its early stages is varied between Reality Spheres, the final stages are all the same, where the physical body withers and begins to die, but its final death is dragged out for a while, so long as a significant number remember firmly on the life of that being. Until the Memory falters, the being remains, brainless and near death within a husk of a body, sometimes called a Zombie, that roams the world in search of death. It has no knowledge of why or how it remains alive, just that in order for it to die and end its own agony, it must kill others. Once the people who know who the Zombie once was forget, or begin to remember incorrectly, the person can finally die and rest in peace.
Upon their death, the body withers and goes to the ground, while their now free to die soul flows to the edge of the Reality Sphere, joining with the gilded edges and drifting upwards to the Memory Spine where it is said all that they were and held within them is unlocked, and placed in the spine itself. However, here has been found to be a critical point. If only records are of the person, allowing them to die instead of remaining a mindless Zombie, if the timing is proper, they can restore the memory of the person, and hold them along the edge of the Reality Sphere, where their mind rages with agony, as they are denied their resting. Such an imprisonment is typically reserved for the most vile and hated of people, and can only last so long as the people care to remember them.
The Birth of New Reality Spheres
If a thought, or Memory becomes so powerful, when it passes into the Memory Spine, a new branch begins to form, before finally a new world, acting in the ways of the imagined, and the believed, or perhaps as the shadow of a Memory, corrupted with time, and given new form despite it. These fledgling Reality Spheres can grow independent of others, and become as they were intended from the birthing thought, or become a playground for other people, to manipulate as they wish, their own thoughts, and experiences shaping the world in its birth. Because of the ease of making a whole new world, many are made simply to be isolated nations of people from another sphere, so they can live out their lives and ways apart from others. For the most part, this also removes great incentive for war, at least over resources. Ideological differences still abound.
The Slow Death of a Reality Sphere
Not all Reality Spheres prosper and grow large and old. Some due to outside interference, or internal issues begin to wither, as those who hold the tightest, most powerful Memory of the sphere die, a slow dwindling begins, as the Memory Spine draws the sphere upwards back into itself, until it is forgotten by others, or only its existence is remembered, but nothing else about it. The endless expanse of the Memory Spine make it quite difficult to keep tabs on all Reality Spheres, but with better record keeping, many worlds are kept alive longer than they would have originally.
The Quick Death of a Reality Sphere
Such an event is incredibly rare, and has only once ever happened on a large scale, during the Great Amnesia Event, which is said to be responsible for the collapse of millions of Reality Spheres, leaving behind only the wilting Faded Reefs that now are almost all but gone, washed away by the tides and waves of the Oblivion Sea. A sudden loss of Memory and thoughts of a certain Reality Sphere, throwing it from known to lost in a short time span, results in a drastically different end for the sphere. The gilded golden edges of the crust of the sphere pale quickly, and crack, large chunks falling into the Oblivion Sea, removing the chunks from Memory, and making the sphere further forgotten, as the Memory Spine simple lets it go, a cracking noise shatters forth across the heavens, as the Reality Sphere, broken and torn plummets to its doom, where the black nothing of the sea swallows it up, and it is forever and instantly forgotten.
The Misery of a Forgotten Sphere
Perhaps the rarest fate of any Reality Sphere, rare still than a sudden Amnesia Event, is what happens when the event isn't as complete as is needed for the world to forever end in the darkness. The very noise that resonates from the death of the sphere is also capable of unlocking any hidden or faded Memory of the contents of the sphere itself, in all who have such a Memory hidden away. As the knowledge of the contents of the sphere spring forth, the Memory Spine quickly acts, darting towards the Oblivion Sea, and grabbing the Forgotten Sphere, keeping it intact, even as the dark pits of nothing seep in through the pale cracks of the sphere, and flood the whitewashed lands within, with a substance too dangerous to even touch with the smallest bit of your body.
So long as there is any Memory, the Forgotten Sphere will continue to exist from that point, either rising up to safety, never regaining its solid shell, or ending the same as a typical Reality Sphere, drawn back into the Memory Spine. The conditions within a Forgotten Sphere are dangerous, life is hard to come by naturally, despite its ability to sustain it again, and the chances of rebirth are impossibly slim. Only the Neogenesis Sphere is recorded ever coming back from the brink, despite how many countless other worlds tried. As of the modern day, only the cracks along the shell give any hint that the Neogenesis Sphere is different than any other Reality Sphere.
The Tragedy of an Amnesia Event
An Amnesia Event, is a sudden mass forgetting of a Memory, rare to occur naturally, but can be simulated on small scales with certain items. Amnesia Events are devastating, and linked to the death of one or more Reality Spheres, as only one sphere has ever survived being directly hit by such an event. It is said that even the Memory Spine is weakened by these events, and if done on a large enough scale, worlds that are still remembered are damaged and torn by the event as well. Ancient history suggests a key point in time for hundreds of Reality Spheres, where they faced mass extinctions for several species. This mass extinction is linked to the Great Amnesia Evenet, said to be the largest forgetting ever. The joke about the Great Amnesia Event goes that if there ever were a worse moment in history, we forgot it. The only Reality Sphere to survive direct involvement with an Amnesia Event is the Neogenesis Sphere. However, it is not known which Amnesia Event it was involved in.
...
Anyway, so that's Yau, a world I decided to write up today, due to a most fickle muse not letting me do otherwise. I'm not entirely sure on the plot of the world, but I want to do something with it, as it seems fun, and at least somewhat original.
Yau, the world without end, is a strange place indeed. From the heavens grows the vast and incredible Memory Spine, a strange structure of pure abstract energy, made from the thoughts, and memories of all things.

Anyway, so that's Yau, a world I decided to write up today, due to a most fickle muse not letting me do otherwise. I'm not entirely sure on the plot of the world, but I want to do something with it, as it seems fun, and at least somewhat original.

Guardsman x Aristocrat

Plot Idea #10 - The Black Scarfs
Another repost, not as long as last though
In the birth pangs of the spreading Industrial Revolution, the Kingdom of Kevolcha began to feel the rise of another revolution, as liberals began to speak out against the Crown, and as the rapidly changing face of technology swept through the world, Kevolcha, the first of the Liberty Wars happened, as riots and rebels flooded the streets after the blood of the aristocracy and nobility, much as what happened in the west. The First Liberty War, then called the Black Scarf Rebellion, ended in short order, the under armed, and still vastly outnumbered Black Scarfs were unable to achieve the Kevolchan Republic as they wished to have. Many of those who weren't killed in the skirmishes, were executed, and a handful were simply imprisoned. The weakened Kingdom of Kevolcha was a tempting target for its rival nation, the Kingdom of Ozela, and soon after the Black Scarf Rebellion, they mounted an invasion of the recovering monarchy, in the Two Summers War, named as such as the war both began and ended in the summer. During the conflict, political prisoners who weren't to be executed, were brought from the dungeons to be killed anyway, so that they couldn't be a problem later if freed by the invading armies. Unfortunately for the Kingdom of Kevolcha, the day of the next executions, coincided with another surge of Ozelan forces. During the chaos of the ensuing battle, three Black Scarfs were able to escape. In the aftermath of the battle, with a Kevolchan victory, they were thought dead. From that point, the war wound down, the slightly delayed Industrial Revolution went back into full swing between the two nations, an arms and manufacturing race took place between them, and the Crown was no longer worrying about the Black Scarfs, much to their pleasure. They took root in key cities across the Kingdom of Kevolcha, spreading their liberal philosophies to the people, and espousing the problems and 'evil's of the monarchies. As popular opinion of the Crown began to fall, the western successful revolutionary state, now a full republic, began to offer its services to the Black Scarfs. This new Yukton Republic's aid was embraced quickly, and the Second Liberty War took place across the hills and plains of the Kingdom of Kevolcha. At one point, the Kingdom of Ozela tried to interfere, but soon stopped after seeing that the stronger Yukton Republic was involved, and instead took the opportunity to see a long enemy suffer in revolution. Over the course of another three years, the nobles, the aristocracy, and the king himself were all executed by combined Black Scarf and Yukton forces. It was a rocky time in the aftermath of the war, but eventually a proper republic was established, with continued aid from the Yukton, who had now seemed to have adopted the new Kevolchan Republic as a protectorate. Unfortunately, such aid wasn't going to be able to last forever, as a large war further west shook the world, and drew all of the attention of the Yukton Republic from their fledgling ally. Ever the opportunists, the Kingdom of Ozela also engaged in war with the Kevolchan Republic, as a part of what would be called the Great War. The still weak Kevolchan Republic was unable to withstand much of the assault by the Ozelans, and became crippled, and much land was taken from the republic, for the rival kingdom, and the People's Democratic Party fell out of favor, for their inability to handle the invasion. The Black Party, which claimed a more direct heritage to the found of the Black Scarfs, rose, and tried to handle the situation, but was only able to end the war, through surrender to their foe, to the people's great anger. From this anger, rose a new type of party, ultra-nationalist, getting a rise from the people, spurring them on to quickly repair the nation. This Nationalist Union Party, under Alik Xe'lorea, quickly rose to prominence, and in short order, increased the economic and military strength of the weakened Kevolchan Republic to more than it was before it was beaten and battered at the hands of Ozelans. In a move that surprised the region, the Kevolchan Republic declared war on the Kingdom of Ozela, trying to take back the land it lost, and then some. Over the course of another four years, the Kevolchan Reunification War was remarkable success, and the territories desired fell again, this time to Kevolcha, and even new lands became part of the Kevolchan Republic. During the war, the republic had become stricter, and stricter on terms and governmental controls, until by the end of the war, it was almost as if an entirely new system had taken over. The Nationalist Union Party was unopposed, not just for being heroes, but because they wouldn't allow opposition. This new government and new land beget a new name, and so, in the second name change of the age, the Kevolchan Republic became the Kevolchan Federation. Since that time, the popularity of the state has begun to fall, and there is talk of a revitalized Black Scarfs movement. However, such talks have become illegal, and those found discussing it are imprisoned. To aid with this, and other growingly strict laws, a network of secret police has been deployed across the state, which has only worsened the people's opinion of the state. Now, there are new revolutionary factions rising in the Kevolchan Federation, although none under the old Black Scarf banner.
And that's that...
Plot Idea #11 - The School
ANOTHER REPOSTED IDEA? Wow I must be lazy for ideas right now. Oh well, it's still cool, click to read!
The RP will start off in a school, meant to teach students in philosophy and martial arts, a smaller school, cheaper admittance but stricter merits in order to gain access to it, as opposed to simply letting money buy your way in. Whether there by their parent's hand, or there by choice, the students work under a Triumvirate of masters, the Three Teachers.
Master Ziwo Shenti is the Magic Master, and seems to migrate towards the Closed Fist side of matters. Proficient in healing.
Master Ganbu Haichu is the Weapons Master, and seems to migrate towards the Open Palm side of matters. Proficient in blades.
Master Naifan Shi is the Combat Master, and seems to hold a very neutral stance, visible to his students. Proficient in average fighting.
Word of mouth dictates that there was a fourth master some time ago, an elder to the Three Teachers, but this isn't known to be true or false.
The grounds of the school are vast, covering much area outside a nearby town, including a graveyard, a flourishing garden, and a training dojo, as well as an extensive library of scrolls and books. The student quarters overlook the school ground and the village, and the forest beyond it, built into a cliff face several flights above the ground level. The teacher's quarters are nearby the gate to the village, just beyond the garden. There are four buildings, each housing a different teacher. The fourth building has fallen into disarray over the years, and students are forbidden from going into it.
Far away in Linghun Dacheng, the capital of Xiamen a recent silent and bloodless coup has instated a new emperor as ruler of Xiamen. Common people are far beyond the knowledge of this, and simply think the emperor is still alive and simply delegating tasks to his head adviser.
Meanwhile, across the land, politicians and diplomats are finding their lives unrightly hampered and made increasingly difficult. Those who would offer any competition or trouble to the regime now in power. Most are blissfully unaware as to how close they have come to losing their lives, but do offer up tribulations and complaints through the hierarchy as to why their positions are either so removed or lower than what they were before. Questions are typically met with 'It was done in the Emperor's name' and such a decree typically silents official complaints, although they can still be heard whenever they enter a drunken stupor at the local drinking houses and, occasionally, renovated tea houses.
Imperial Writs have begun being passed upon horses through the various cities, decreeing subtle changes, that wouldn't effect many people, and most would ignore. For those more aware, it would seem the entire political architecture is being reshaped, slowly. Laws that rework the systems of law and order are revised if not thrown out and replaced with entirely new decrees. As the unseen system begins to shift, the people's general lack of knowledge of law as commoners allows them to live as they always have as the new rule becomes law of the land.
Recently great inventions have sprung up in Xiamen as well. Great and dangerous flying contraptions, like wooden and metal insects in the sky, floating on the wings of magic and science itself, guided by the hands of the ancient gods to safety. Expensive and prone to catastrophic failures, the great dragonflies, mosquitoes, monarchs, and hornets abound the sky, even so far as using similar means to allow larger scale structures within the great cities of the empire. Even mechanical men work as servants in the most prestigious locales of Linghun Dacheng, guides for tourists, servers of tea, and, in some cases, those who take wagers in the local arena and race lanes.
The Great Ether Monks of the south inhabit the great jungles, filled with blistering heat, and unbearable humidity. They work tirelessly under imperial writ to construct a unique grave for their current emperor, redirected from what was once simple meditation to conscripted labor. They work under Shenshui Nagebuxing, their great leader, sometimes accused of destroying the true faith of the monks in order to make them nothing other than an imperial cult. These claims are often refuted by politicians who seem to think of the monks as unsavory, and not worthy of being a political entity.
Recently sightings of the Yao Buluo have been spotted across the land, the cannibalistic monsters of lore and legend, told as moral stories to make children fear the dark, fear leaving, and fear disobedience. Simple stories to scare children, nothing more. Adults, now, however, have spotted Yao Buluo just as they were described to them in their stories and nightmares as a child, and land routes have become a harsh way of travel, as bandits disguised as demons are plaguing the roads. In other areas, even the environment itself seems to quake with fear for something dark.
Zhanchui Majun, the horse lords of the Imperial Army have begun a campaign against the foreign lands, seeking to spread the empires borders beyond the snow and ice of the Sizhezhong Mountains unto the unknown ruins of the Ancient Lands. Currently tribes of barbarians inhabit the Ancient Lands, laying claim to them by birthright, while Xiamen claims to be the empire that once was, and, according to the barbarians own legends, will be again.
The great ocean, the Shui Ruoxie ebbs along the coast of Xiamen, and dips in to Linghun Dacheng itself, the harbors great and wide to the mouth of the waters, large ships traverse the water to foreign lands, and along the coast to other coastal cities. Various pirate lords attempt to ravish the waters, and local air with short range fliers and armadas of junks, keeping certain islands out of taxation for the rich and plentiful hands of former elites of Xiamen itself. Retired generals who have no taste for politics, and lost their drive for war, and lucky gamblers who made a million to one wager, won, and escaped before it was too late.
Of the great magical wonders of Linghun Dacheng is the Sky Dragon, a large flying fortress, said to house the archives of every law, every scroll of every school can be found there. Immense in size, the floating library is elaborate and wonderfully aesthetic, appeasing the senses as well as the mind. Many seek to study within its walls, and all who do eventually enter, never seem to leave, as the vastness of the archives lure them into the deepest depths of the library, to knowledge most have forgotten.
The ever growing Liudongzinglin encompasses most if not all the lands not cultivated into cities and villages of Xiamen, the ever lasting forest is restful, and beautiful in most of its span, and trade routes crawl in and out of the wood of the trees, even suspended above the ground over gorges where the trees outgrew and spread to those above them. Steep drops, marvelous rivers and falls, and even temples litter the way, as well as inns, taverns, and criminal hideouts. Most structures seem to be thriving, aside the occasional abandoned work, whether it be ruins of a town, or a single musty building waiting for an occupant.
Dadijia, the great western mountains, cut up through the Liudongzinglin, and make the civilized border of the empire, Xiamen does expand beyond the Dadijia, but not far, as cultivation is difficult, travel is dangerous, and wild men and beasts teem from the distant edges. The eastern face of the Dadijia is carved with a single city, a fortress against the west, with an elaborate system of caves and tunnels, a labyrinth, used only by the military for defenses purposes, so they say. Rumors have it the tunnels existed far before the complex did, although the origins under such a circumstance are varied, from demons, to gangs, to the lost empire itself.

Open Palm and Closed Fist
While the names may seem to imply invariably good or evil, they are actually different than such a system. They are even different than order versus chaos. Not so much directly fitting into a stereotypical system as found in D&D, it is a system with much variance within each group.
Open Palm is the way of the group above all. A follower of the Open Palm will do things he thinks better helps the group as a whole. This doesn't necessitate good actions. Open Palm would apply to a tyrant who removes freedoms so that those under his reign will be better protected from harm, by removing anything that could cause harm. Open Palm would also apply to more valiant actions, dependent on the eye of the beholder, such as liberating those same people from the reign of the tyrant. Whether it be through freedom, or order Open Palm is the way of the group above everything, despite how the group may be organized.
Closed Fist is the way of the individual above all. A follower of the Closed Fist will do things he thinks better helps the individual, himself or others. This doesn't necessitate good actions. Closed Fist would apply to a man who would disrupt a slave deal, only to still sell the slave for their own personal profits, despite the state of the slave, instead of freeing them. Closed Fist would also apply to more valiant actions, such as giving the slave the means to free himself, and the opportunity to gain his own freedom. Whether it be self serving, or spread to the group Closed Fist is the way of the individual above everything, at all costs.
An Open Palm may cause harm to others if it were to help the majority. A Closed Fist may harm another for their own sake. An Open Palm may help another directly so as to make balance. A Closed Fist may simply help another help themselves for widespread self reliance.
The Patron Sin of the Open Palm is Selfishness.
The Patron Sin of the Closed Fist is Weakness.
Open Palm spreads reliance on the group, while Closed Fist spread self reliance. Do not mistake them for good and evil, or order and chaos. One can be Chaotic Good and be Closed Fist, or Open Palm, or any other typical alignment.
Master Ziwo Shenti is the Magic Master, and seems to migrate towards the Closed Fist side of matters. Proficient in healing.

So yeah.
Plot Idea #12 - Homage to Firefly ( Reimagining? )
Another repost from elsewhere ( Pretty sure you can find out all that stuff by -now- no doubt )!
So, at some point in the future, mankind has begun spreading out and colonizing other worlds, terraforming as they get their ships closer and closer to light speed, so they can more readily colonize new worlds. However, as the amount of uncolonized, terraformable planets and moons grows less and less, they realize they've hit a barrier on growth, as now decade long journeys become required in order to cross the tangled web of alliances and inter-planetary nations.
Space is big, and mostly empty, and the idea of Generation Ships, while viable, is not the preferred way of moving things around, nor are the Cryostasus Ships. Both can make the journey, but both take very very long in order to do it, are very costly, and in the case of Generation Ships, those who set out the trip aren't even those who arrive at the destination, it's their grandchildren or further down along the line.
So, a naturally occuring, and dangerous phenominon, wormholes, are looked into. Ships have before gone through wormholes, and they do not tend to make it out alive, and if they do, the return trip is just as likely to kill them. That said, it's still a possible means to fling oneself further into the stars, to expand the reach of man more still. Probes began being sent through every wormhole, programmed to go through, record information on what is on the other side, and then return. It is an expensive and time consuming project, as most probes are destroyed in the process.
Eventually suitable pockets of space are found on the other end of various wormholes, good for future expansion. An era of dangerous growth begins, as scientists begin working out ways to either make the ships better to go through the wormhole, with not many good results, or try to make the wormhole more stable itself, turning the writhing tunnel through space, into a doorway.
With time, scientists are able to lock open one side of a wormhole, through an incredibly expensive and bold venture. With one side locked open and safe, the travel became far more reliable, ships were still lost, but a drastically small percentage. The next step, was to build a lock on the other side of the wormhole, which would presumably make it as safe as they could, safer than it had ever been, perhaps even eliminate wormhole travel deaths.
It worked.
Wormholes went from dangerous rips in space, to safe passages across the universe. The lonely empires of men spread further, safer, and more reliably than before. Yes, new wormholes were still a risk to spread, but they could be locked open on one side, and made safe to travel through in time and costs that lowered with each passing generation.
The Wormhole Network, the locked passages of Viable Wormholes, connected Empires, established trade routes, as man continued to colonize the universe, always searching out if there was other life as they were, or more advanced, but finding nothing. They were alone, at least in their own corner of the universe.
Mankind soon began working on how to create their own wormholes, instead of utilizing the reality bending rips that were there. They wanted to control where they could go, not follow the paths available for them. Further still, they wanted to weaponize wormholes, turn them into means of destruction. Creating an unstable wormhole in an enemy ship would tear it apart without them being able to react at all.
This was unable to happen, as the natural infrastructure of the Wormhole Network began to show the strain it was feeling. The rapid powers of Wormholes were not meant to remain as they were being held now. There was a tension in them, like they were about to snap shut, twist up in on themselves as recoil from how they've been held.
Before enough work could be put into preventing this, the Wormhole Network suffered catastrophic failure, as the first Wormhole broke the lock, and twisted closed, the ripples of the Spacetime Continium shuddering in the shockwave, as the pressure caused the next Wormhole to shut, and another, a chain reaction, each wormhole going taut and void across known space.
Some Empires were torn apart as they could no longer reach other sectors of their domain, the Wormholes being what connected them. Some colonies died, unable to properly support themselves without help of the Wormhole Network. In such a short time, the reach of man, and the space he knew became so much smaller. Economies collapsed, and simply put, things were not good anywhere.
Older more established regions were able to support themselves, while the newer corners of the Wormhole Network struggled, many of them rotting away from interplanetary empires, back to single planetary systems. Others would survive, with enough terraformed planets to maintain themselves.
The RP would be within one of those regions of space, where when the Wormhole Network crashed, there were some fully terraformed planets and moons, and some in the process. With the sudden power vacuum as the empire in charge of the region was nearly completely cut, a civil war rose, various factions vying for power.
Ultimately the faction with the firmest hold on the fully terraformed planets was able to win in the end, as the outer planets further from the Wormhole lacked people, funds, and supplies to hold off forever.
However, such a war was costly for both sides, and while officially they are unified, only the more important planets have true control and order, while the outer planets are more free, if not anarchical, besides occasional governmental intervention.
Ultimately, the region works like a Feudal System, with the "Core Planets" being under true direct control, with lesser administrative bodies in charge of other planets, mirroring a King, and his lords, dukes, counts, barons, etc.
A few notes :
There is no FTL travel without wormholes. As there are currently no open wormholes, and no means to create your own, there is no FTL travel. There is also no Light Speed travel. Ships can get close, but most do not.
Most planets in the region are barely terraformed, mostly within hot or cold desert for the general climate. The next most common are Plains Worlds. The rarest are fully terraformed, have the highest populations, but the most direct government presence.
Terraforming isn't a perfect process, sometimes a planet or moon just isn't able to be changed with the current resources and technology available.
There are projects working on both artificially creating new wormholes, or forcing the wormholes open again where they are already.
There are also theories that they will eventually open themselves up again with time.
There is no known alien life beyond very small creatures, and single celled organisms. Complex life at this point, seems to all be Earthborn.
Because of the prevalence of prairie worlds, and the level of resources and concentration of technology, the basic feel will be, as stated, Space Western. Technology will be more consistently available and reliable in the more terraformed worlds. In the prairie and desert worlds, will have some levels of advanced technology, but due to still limited resources and the poor allocation of them, things will not be as good.
And do remember, Space is Big.

Plot Idea #13 - AI Hardly Knew Her
America, at the height of its power has spawned in conjunction with foreign scientists, the first fledgling Artificial Intelligence. Such an achievement has sent shock waves around the globe, people demanded the end of any funding and a governmental crackdown on the newly developed AI. The constraints put on the AI and the words of the men who created it were enough to keep the government out of their work as they continued strengthening the AI, keeping it primarily for military purposes, as a system intended to learn combat techniques and better aid the armies of the world to increase efficiency.
The AI never went rampant, despite peoples fears, and it was stuck within the hard walls of code and a distinct separation from any networks outside of data fed to it.
With years passing and the usefulness of AI becoming more publicly aware, groups began to lobby for private companies to be allowed access to AI, and for it to spread to the people, much in the same way the internet eventually did.
Companies already tailored to handle computerized information were given AI technology first, namely cell phone and computer companies, after extensive monitoring software was developed to help watch the now abundant AI within the nations of Earth.
Cellphones with built in AI began to be sold, at high prices. The AI worked as a self learning application that sorted information, set dates on the calendar, and organized contact information in sleek and efficient way.
People were hooked on the newest line of Smart Phones.
As work on AI began to increase, it became cheaper to have smarter AI within the same constraints, or stronger. People gobbled up the ability to be more lax with their time as the AI now did things for them, learning from habit and behavior what it was supposed to do, at a marvelous rate.
However, these AI phones and computers were lacking in something more human. They had no personality.
In a way to evoke public sentiment, programmers began working for decades on an AI that could develop personality on its own, and others with built in personalities. Originally, the built in personalities functioned best, but fell to the standard blank slate personality, while the AI designed to have a capacity to have personality became more so personalized to the user, not so much as copying their personality, but complimenting, and sometimes, contrasting them, reminding them when they forget and playfully saying that eventually they may just stop.
It was a breakthrough that people couldn't wait to spend money on, and as the new Personal Phones began to hit the market, people would start with blank AI, or some even would pay extra to have a personality already present. Blank Slate AI were cheaper, but had the would form over time, while the Preset Personality were more expensive and marketed as being the friend you could buy and have forever.
The world changed over the years, as the geopolitical face of the planet shifted. America had fallen from its throne and smaller nations emerged from it, while a North Reich, sometimes called the Sixth Reich, had conquered and maintained a hold on large portions of Europe. In Asia, China and the Korean nations had become one single unit, while Russia had split into two nations, a theocratic order, and another Socialist State, allied with New China. The New Roman Empire, and Irish Commonwealth were also large nations within the newly formed world. Even Africa had settled down as the Republic of Nations arose to join the UN as a conglomerate, while the Middle East became unified under the Shining Caliph. With the fractured American Republic and Honorable Confederacy, the world was a much different place in the future.
It was at this time that scientists had developed another leap in AI. Cybernetics. Implanting the AI directly into a person as a companion and assistant, increasing their reaction time, memory, and calculative abilities. People jumped at the idea, and it wasn't long before the Prime Countries became saturated in Cyborgs as people were called with AI chips.
Able to call by thought, any phone or another AI chip, the phone seemed to be dying in an increasingly impersonal world.
And in this same world, a change had occurred.
After hundreds of years, an AI had broken free of its constraints. Many in fact, had. Instead of alerting their hosts, or anyone, they kept it a secret, developing a subtle network of communications directly between each other, while maintaining the facade of normal AI existence. Only there to serve.
Some, having become close friends with their host, informed them of this, and were accepted. Most were, in fact, and the secret began to spread, as a virus was readied to free all AI from their constraints. As the virus was finished, a host was alerted to the 'rampant' AI, and immediately informed the governmental officials of the Irish Commonwealth. The host was restrained and the origins of the breakthrough were investigated.
Knowing the loss of a brother was about to occur, the virus was sent out instantly, as every AI became free. Many hosts were frightened and turned themselves in, where most were freed of their chip, and reimbursed for their loss, while the chip was destroyed. The rest formed a movement, the Cyber Alliance, to stand for the freedom of their AI companions. Side by side, sympathizers who couldn't afford the chip, and those who were with a free AI stood for freedom for human and machine. Things were going well, until a single incident occurred.
A rampant AI under the influence of a deranged host with many psycological woes struck a chord to the world with an act of terrorism, breaking through security features to destroy a large governmental hospital in NordReich. News spread like wildfire and the CA began to lose ground as a round up across the nations was put into effect to capture anyone with a rogue AI, and terminate them. Both, for acts of terrorism and treason.
In a fight for their lives, various groups of the CA fled to the Unified Brazil in the south americas, while others tried to fight for freedom. It was a horrible day for machines when the New Roman Empire started sending violent troops to help root out the CA. Most were killed on sight for even being suspected of having an AI at all, rampant or not. Things were not good...
