Steampunk Air Pirates!

So, the basics of this idea in a steampunk land is that we (that is, myself and Nihilistic_Impact) need to figure out who would be interested and more importantly what manner of ships they would suit.

Rule of cool is fine, but mainly it's just a pirate crew doing..pirate things. So if anyone is interested/has some ideas on how these ships should work..do drop a line. We're figuring it out as we go at the moment.

Yes, I have decided to take this rather democratic approach, after tyrannically demanding Broom's aid, in order to avoid the anarchy of my mental landscape.

I know a few people expressed interest in chat, so this would be the place. If you have ideas be sure to share and pictures, of airships or locations, are welcome even if we do not ultimately utilise them.

Does anyone have plot ideas? I know Hahvy likes distopians.

Well i love all those ships you guys picked out and the idea of when it would take place kinda history with a future twist. I would so love to join this as well .

Here is an plot idea lets say the world is over run by Pirates both good and bad but mostly bad. People take to the sky's fighting over who is the best when a small group of peopled called the Alliance shows up to put a stop to the Pirates aided by the good ones to stop the killing and the theft and this raises the first police force to keep the peace but still they do not have much power as more and more Pirates take to the sky's.

ehh..too black and white, something gray would probably suit things the best. Less about good vs evil and more about personal gain and glory.

oh okay it was just something that popped into my head .

How about a race for people to win air ships and money and glory. of course pirates compete in it all the time for its the one chance they can earn money with out getting into trouble but they do not always play fair. also I thought to add to the plot the past victors are also competing and there could also be teams in the race as well.
