Adam Park was nervous as he stood in the elevator of his new apartment complex. In there he had all of his marked boxes with his appliances and computer, a few duffle bags with all his clothes in it, but there was one box that was unmarked that had a few holes punched at the top of it. That was the reason why he was nervous, that one box, well that one box contained his purebred Siberian Husky. Why exactly did it make him nervous? Well according to this apartment complexes rules, she was illegal. The rules stated that only a dog under 100 pounds could be in the apartments, the manager was a hardass so Adam, not wanting to part with her, didn't even mention her when he came to ask about the apartment. Now he was just hoping he could get her into the apartment without anyone noticing, he prayed that no one would be in the hall when he moved her box into the apartment.
The elevator finally dinged for his floor and be started moving things out into the hall, first came the appliance boxes since he wanted to get the heavy stuff out of the way. He brought the boxes to the door and unlocked it with the key the manager gave him and unlocked the door to the apartment. He moved the boxes in and went back out for his bags. Once those were moved in he wen back out in the hall to get the box his dog was in. When he reached the box someone stepped out into the hall. It was a young couple and they came out with bright smiles and friendly hellos. Adam returned the greetings and went to get his box. Quickly the man went down with him saying, "Here I'll get that for you." Adam quickly protested, "No no no, I got I got it." The sound of panic was prevalent in his voice. "Sorry, just trying to be a good neighboor," He sounded offended. "I'm sorry," he said apologetically, "It's just that these are all of my hardrives and these are very precious to me so sorry if I'm a bit nervous about it." The couple understood and let Adam get it into his apartment. He closed the door behind him and immediatley pulled the tape off of the box to let her out. He really hoped she understood how much trouble he went through to get her here.
