It was a nice evening, for a city. It was cool, a nice breeze wept through the city streets keeping it from getting too hot. The sun was shining brightly, so brightly and there where only a few fluffy clouds to be seen overhead, what little could be seen through the city buildings that was. The City was, as always overly busy, people raced this way and that, and traffic was bumper to bumper and filled with curses and honking horns. The air was filled with city smells, sweat and hot dog carts and sweat and smog that nearly choked you and stole your breath. It was nearly sic in the evening, and people where racing past to get to work or to get home before the work day started no one even paused to glance at the young woman who was curled up on the side walk in front of the church.

She was a gorgeous creature, long and thin, she was only 5'6 at most, though it was mostly leg giving her a very graceful appearance. Her skin was smooth, soft and white, like moonlight it seamed to glow in the light of the sun. her hair was white or maybe silver, and curled around her face and chest, ending at the backs of her knees if she had been standing, where she was sitting it curled along the dirty ground, picking up the muck and mud of the city streets. She was barefoot, her tiny feet where covered in tiny bleeding cuts, as if she had walked over glass at one point and hadn't thought to bandage them, or hadn't realized they where damaged. She was wearing a dirty white dress, or maybe it was a type of robe, whatever it was it was made of some sort of silk, that was now tattered, torn and filthy. She had her beautiful face pressed into her knees, and she was sobbing, crying as she hugged herself, it was clear she was frightened, alone, and in need of help, but no one was even looking at her.

Her name was Celeste, and she was lost. She had never been in a situation like this before, she had never been cold, never been in pain, never been hungry. Both of her slender knees where scraped, there where bruises along her arms where someone had grabbed her, and there was a bruise and a crape on her forehead and cheek. She had never been so afraid in her entire life, her stomach hurt so much because she was so hungry, her throat was dry and her tongue felt thick from dehydration. She was tired, and she was hurt. Nothing serious, but it was enough to make her unwilling to get to her poor aching feet. She continued to cry, she had stopped trying to get people to help her, they just shoved her away or ignored her, she just sat there and sobbed, wondering why God had sent her to such a horrible place with horrible people, and prayed for someone, anyone to come and save her.

He was thankful for the pace of the people, the hustle and bustle of life and the people around him distracting him from life and indeed the issues that faced him himself as opposed to the human race. There wasn’t a lot for Elias to really be happy with these days. Work was quiet and boring; His family were falling to pieces and then all he had to show for his work at 21 was a nice car.

He paced the city streets, using the normal quiet route (well, quiet compared to the rest of the city) past the Church of St Peter, looking towards the structure as he went by, hearing an almost faint cry. He paused, looking around as the person behind him barged into him, followed by ‘Hey watch it!’. He didn’t really care, looking around for the source.

There she was, this woman, dressed very poorly for the weather and crying on the sidewalk. He raised an eyebrow, taking in her figure as he tried to figure out what was going on. He looked around, noting no one else helping her. He sighed, shrugged, walking over to the woman and putting a hand on her shoulder and sitting down next to her.

“You alright Miss?” He asked, looking at her once more. Poor thing must’ve been near death’s door. How long had she been here, days? Weeks? He didn’t know, nor did he care. “Come on” He took his jacket off, placing it on her shoulders and giving her a reassuring smile. “Let’s get you out of the cold”

oooh he's cute!)

the woman gasped as he set a hand on her shoulder and she cringed away from him with a look of terror. "please! don't hurt me!" she pleaded, cringing to protect herself before pausing, blinking at him with her large tear filled eyes that where a bright blue green color. a sea-foam sort of color that almost seamed too gorgeous to be a human's eyes. she sniffled, shivering as she stared at him and blinked as he set his jacket on her shoulders, hugging it close to herself to preserve the heat that was left behind from his own body heat. for a long moment, blinking those astonishing eyes at him, she didn't seam to understand what he was saying, she didn't seam to comprehend that he was trying to help her. then, she slowly, so slowly managed to get onto her feat, stumbling and clutching to the white fence that surrounded the church, panting as she managed to get to her feet, closing her eyes from the pain, a small whimper leaving her lips as the dozens of small cuts stung against the muck and mud of the city streets.

"i don't think i can walk." she finally managed to whisper, looking at him with wide, pained eyes, swallowing thickly. "may i lean against you?" she asked hopefully, the back of her dress shifting as someone ran into her, spilling her back onto the ground, the man who knocked her over not even looking, even as a pained cry fell from her lips as she hit the ground, scraping her forearms as her back was suddenly bared to the world. two massive Tattoo's covered her back. wings, giant silver wings where tattooed all along her back, the feathers covered her back like works of art as she paused, laying there to catch her breath, and her strength before struggling slowly back to her feet, shifting the dress back into place, though the back still stayed open to show off the Tattoos just like it was supposed to. "...it hurts." she admitted softly blinking at him as she looked at her bleeding arm and feet, the cuts having opened back up as she struggled to her feet the first time, even with help. she looked back at him and hesitated. "i am Celeste..."

it was clear, just by looking at her, the tattoos, the clothes, that at some point she had, had a lot of money. tattoos like that could cost upwards of two thousand dollars, and a dress so elegant, made of silk, sewn so perfectly to form her body could have cost someone almost five thousand. so either she herself had been rich, or she had been dating, married, owned by, or was family to someone who was. so what in the world was a girl like that doing on the streets, so hurt, and weak that she couldn't even stand up under her own power anymore? she had used up all of her energy on the first attempt, and now that she was on the ground she could barley make it to all fours, panting from the effort and gasping from the pain. there certainly was something very strange about this woman's state of being, dressed in fine silk, yet so battered and filthy it was clear she'd been on the streets for at least a week, if not more. "can you help me? i don't have the strength to stand..." she whispered, sounding afraid again, as if worried he would leave her there if she didn't hurry up.

(and for reference, here is what her eyes look like^^ their sooo gorgeous.

and here's a bit what the wing Tattoos look like.)

((Glad you approve. Had to find something to kinda match your angel and...well, he was the first to come to mind :) and my god, DAT TATTOO PAIR!! and the Eyes...:'))

He didn't blame her for cringing away as he touched her, knowing what the world was like himself was a pain to deal with, not to mention having possibly lost so much as to be on the streets as she was. He looked at her eyes, finding some kind of strange....peace in her jades. He blinked a few times, shaking his head to get rid of the feeling as she settled into the jacket, barely feeling the cold himself. He stood up himself, determined to keep an eye on the girl as he moved to her side.

She barely spoke as she asked him to help her, but was moving when the idiot banged into her, his gaze switching between her and the jerk who knocked her back down. “JERK OFF!” He shouted after the man, looking back to the woman to see her clothes showing her back, almost gasping at the beauty before him. Two almost perfect angel Tattoos. He mentally whistled, knowing how much a pair of them cost in today's market. He moved quickly, gently grabbing her arm and putting it over his shoulder, supporting her as she started moving. “Easy now, can't have you doing too much harm to yourself” He told her, looking between her and the street as she spoke her name.

“Celeste eh? Well....nice to make your acquaintance...shame it had to be under such circumstances” He slowly started walking, making sure that whenever he took a step, she wouldn't do too much to keep up. “Name's Elias...Gotta ask though lady...how did you do so much damage to yourself? Were you mugged or something? And where are your family so I can tell them your alright?”

XD he's handsome! XDD and i'm glad you like the eyes and the tattoos XDD it took me almost a half an hour to find decent pics for them XDD because i'm weird and have to find pics for everything O-o/// XDD)

she gasped, astonished as he yelled at the man who had knocked her over, the man didn't even bother paying attention to that either, he just kept talking on his phone. "..oh please don't yell." she pleaded, looking rather afraid. "he didn't mean it..." she muttered softly wincing as he helped her up. she was light, very light even for a person her height she was far too light. he could have picked her up and carried her easily, but that probobly wouldn't go well, considering she looked very determined to walk. "i'll be alright..." she whispered softly, leaning against him to keep most of her weight off of her damaged left leg. it was bruised all over on the outside, as if something big and heavy had hit her. she smiled at him though as he helped her, feeling so grateful, so relieved that there was finally someone so kind as to help her.

"there is no better circumstance, than the helping of others." she informed him, smiling at him. "thank you, so very much for giving me aid... i don't know how long i stayed there for... no one else would help me." she admitted sniffling a little before smiling at him. "Elias... that is a very nice name." she admitted before hesitating, looking confused. "i... well i fell." she admitted. "a lot i..." she shook her head. "i hit my head you see... and i was very dizzy and kept falling over... and then i wandered out and one of those people on bikes hit me." she explained indicating her leg. "he didn't even stop... and then i stepped on a broken bottle that someone threw at me... the people here are very mean." she complained sniffling again as she wiped her eyes. "... other than that i... i don't really know..." she admitted. "i remember falling and... and then that was it until i woke up all dizzy..." she admitted shaking her head. she remembered where she was from, who she was, but she couldn't remember how she had come to be where she was. the last thing she remembered was sitting next to her Creator, discussing interesting Philosophy, and then she was falling, and then she was there. "...i don't even know how long i have been here for..." she admitted closing her eyes, feeling a strange feeling of helplessness washing over her.

((Well, to be fair I had to compete against that Angel image. And that's like HOLY to me. No pun intended. And to be fair, finding images helps the imagination I suppose. Less focused on the description more focused on what they are doing))

He looked at the woman as she spoke, sighing a few times as he didn't really get what she meant, but then shrugged. “Fair enough...just don't expect many apologies from people too often” He told her, finding it very easy to carry her. Odd considering she looked quite...heavy to be fair. He didn't quite want to voice that due to not wanting to insult her, as she was very light.

He heard her comment, raising an eyebrow at it. “Well....Celeste...I can think of something better. Like maybe a drink at the bar of whiskey or something....like a friendly conversation instead of finding you injured in the street...although saying that why the heck did you try and cross the road without looking? And falling?” He was finding this harder to believe by the second, but still, carrying her home was easy. “Look...you must've bumped your head or something...I'll take you home and check you over, get some food and drink into you, never mind find some clothes”

XD you didn't have to compete^^ unless you wanted to XDD))

she smiled at him as she shook her head. "there is no apology from those with no manners." she admitted smiling a little as she clung to him carefully, wincing with every step before shaking her head. "ah, but if i met you at a bar i would not like you very much, as you would be drunk and i do not like drunk." she admitted smiling at him. "besides i was not trying to cross the street, i was standing on the sidewalk and he ran me over." she admitted shaking her head a little. "and i just said i bumped my head." she complained pouting a little as she walked next to him, looking skyward. "i hope my Master is not too worried about me..." she muttered softly, sighing a little as she shook her head a little as she walked with him in silence watching the people, wincing as people cussed and cursed, spread hate and disorder and she sighed a little.

"i have never been somewhere so rough before..." she admitted softly her eyes afraid again. "so many of these people could have..." they could have hurt her, raped her, all manner of things. she was so relieved that someone had found her, she could see her new freinds soul, there was little Faith, but much kindness, she knew she was safe with him. she looked down at her own dress as he mentioned clothes and she blinked at him a little. "this is my favorite dress... do you think it can be salvaged?" she asked hopefully, looking down at herself again before shaking her head. "no, i suppose it can't can it?" she asked with a small sigh. "honestly... out of everything, i think what i want most, is to be clean..." she admitted smiling at him. "i've never been dirty, or cold, or hungry before..." she admitted sighing a little. "i've never been anything before..." she admitted shaking her head a little. "it's all... sort of..." she frowned. "frightening but.. exciting as well..." she admitted smiling a little. "now that i'm not worried about being attacked or something..."

((Think of a random topic and FIRE AWAY!!! :D))

He had to almost laugh at her line. No apology from those with no manners? What church did she go to? He lowered his head, shaking it once more. “Hey, I’m more a light drinker. Getting drunk isn’t my thing; want to keep my memories and such. Besides, when I said a bottle of whiskey it was for you. Can’t stand the stuff myself” He heard her comment on her master, choosing to ignore it as he entered a backroad near his home, with nary a person in sight.

“Welcome to the real world sister” He told her, sighing. “Most people wouldn’t care to help if you’d lost a limb for instance…be thankful someone came along who cares….” He knew the dress was going to be….hard to fix. Heck, he doubted his sister could do much with it. He couldn’t let her down on that one. He looked at her, raising an eyebrow. “You sound like you’ve never been anywhere before Celeste…but….I’ll let you use my bathroom when we get back, along with giving you something to eat and drink along with some clothes if need be. Heck, we’ll even go see someone I know who can possibly fix that clothing of yours”

she smiled at him and shook her head. "i don't drink, at all... it does terrible things to people." she admitted simply. before she had died, she had been under the fist of an abusive drunk father, he was actually the man who had killed her. despite the pain and agony her life had been she had remained kind and loving, and God had gifted her with Wings for her good soul, and made her a Guardian Angel, watching over children, protecting everyone and anyone she could. but she doubted she could tell him that, he'd never beleive her unless she revealed her wings, and she wasn't sure how to do that, she'd never had a fully human form before. "the real world huh?" she asked smiling a little. "reality is a relative thing." she stated simply. "what is real to you, isn't always real to everyone else." she teased winking at him before shaking her head. "someone i'm sure would have helped me if was bleeding to death..." she stated frowning a little, wishing she believed that.

"i have been places before i suppose, but i have always been sheltered." she admitted shaking her head. "i've never really... left home before." she admitted frowning. "i can't even remember... how i got here." she admitted shaking her head again before smiling at him. "thank you, for being so kind... i have no money but i will find a way to repay you for your kindness." she promised smiling at him. "God shines upon you Elias." she whispered gently kissing his cheek before looking down at her dress. "there is no point trying to salvage this, the cloth is stained, it's ruined." she admitted shaking her head. "it would be best to just cut it up and salvage the little bits that can be salvaged and find another purpose for them." she admitted wincing as she staggered again, clinging to him as she nearly fell to her knees. "i'm sorry... i don't... i don't think i can walk anymore..." she admitted shaking her head. "my legs have given out..." well, at least she wasn't heavy, it would be easy for Elias to carry her home.

((Could do one of those ‘you ask me and I’ll ask you’ type dealies where we just answer a question and return one back. (Although saying that, your paying an Angel when your title is ‘fuck me hard bitch’ XD)))

He felt her stagger, putting his arms quickly under her legs and lifting her up, bridal style and carrying her home. “Yeah, well….I don’t believe in a lot of things….and a lot of things have a habit of biting me in the ass…not to mention that my life seems to be going nowhere…and then there….ok, really? God? If he was looking out for me then I wouldn’t be here right now. I’d be somewhere else entirely dealing with Actual jobs”

He eventually came to his house, resting her against his shoulder in order to open the gate with his hand. “Look, I’m not doing this for reward…and as for God he can….deal with whatever. I’ll stay here right now and find some way to make things work….but for you right now. Food, Drink, and a wash. At the very least we need to get you those three sorted…clothes I can find something. My sister leaves some here at times so…feel free to grab hers. She’ll understand”

XDD i'd rather do the convo through Pm's if that;s alright?^^ XDD and i like my title, XDD it get's peoples attention XDD)

she gasped as he picked her up and she settled herself into his arms without a complaint, closing her eyes before smiling a little. "just because you don't beleive, doesn't mean it isn't real." she muttered softly. "you just haven't found the truths you need yet, that;s all." she muttered softly. "your life will get better, i am sure of it." her own angelic powers could make sure of that, he didn't like his job? she could get him one he liked easily, small miracles where a Guardian Angel's specialty. "God cannot take away free will. you made a decision, or your family, or your boss, or someone else made a decision and God cannot mess with that... but he can offer you the strength you need to carry on, he can give you the courage to keep moving." she smiled at him. "he can give you small miracles... like me." she admitted smiling at him. "if you let me stay, i can make life easier for you, i can cook a little, and i'm good at cleaning." she admitted resting her head on his shoulder. "and you won't have to be worried about being lonely... a good thing, don't you think?" she asked smiling a little. "perhaps it was God who put me in front of that church to be found by you?" she mused playfully looking at his house with interest.

"thank you again." she murmured smiling at him. "i will make sure to help you in any way that i can." she promised as he carried her inside. she moved carefully around the bathroom, and luxuriated in the bath, she was too week to stand and wash so she took a nice hot bath, and when she finally made her way downstairs she was like a brand new woman. she was dressed in a pair of jeans that fit her almost perfectly, but the shirt was a little tight across her bosom. she was clean, revealing all of her gorgeous moonlight clear skin, her long silver hair was washed and brushed, showing just how silky smooth it was as it fell around her like a robe, framing her face and those amazingly gorgeous sea foam eyes that smiled at him, offering him peace and happiness if he would only meet her gaze long enough. she carefully settled herself into a chair with a relieved sigh and a smile. "i didn't fall this time." she admitted smiling at him, so very pleased with herself. "you have a lovely home." she admitted watching him softly, her head tilted at him. "i'm... very sorry to be a burden but.. i forgot to mention it before... i..i cannot eat meat, eggs, or... anything that has come from an animal... it goes against my faith..." not entirely true, but close enough. Angels could eat fruit, vegetables, things made with flour and sugar, but anything with animal in it, even by-products of animals made them very very sick. "i can have milk though..." she could probobly eat unfertilized eggs, but she didn't want to test that theory.

((Good point, didn't think of that. Sorry))

He sighed whilst taking her in. “Yeah, I've heard that one a lot of times. But I'll believe what I can see and hear, as opposed to what might be around” he told her, quite cynically. “And as for the decision....if God really cares then why isn't he helping me fix it now? All I've hear about him how he's so great and indeed so awesome but he isn't if he can't get off his cloud and do the work” He sighed once more, opening the door as he wandered in. “And as for being on the sidewalk near a church....coincidence”

He took her to the bathroom, letting her deal with herself whilst he went back down. She'd find her way around easy enough, after all there was only really two bedrooms upstairs, and one was blatantly open for her. He went back downstairs, sitting around and thinking for a bit whilst she got washed. This weird woman...who not only was the religious type, but apparently knew little of the world....who said he had a good soul...and little faith? Who the heck was she? It made little sense...but it was happening. He heard her coming back down, looking to see Celeste coming back down, whistling as she appeared in her clothes. “OK, didn't know you were a size or so smaller then my sis. If I had I'd have gone and found something bigger. So sorry” He started walking to the kitchen, hearing her requests and rules. “So....Salad it is then....it's really all I have in the house that isn't animal related unfortunately. Just erm....” He stopped, turning to the woman slowly, looking at her and getting a good look at her. “you erm...you look good”

she smiled a little and shook her head a little. "there are rules to all things." she whispered softly, smiling a little. "and perhaps he has given you what you needed, but you simply didn't see it..." she shrugged. "whatever the case, one cannot force Faith." she admitted simply smiling a little. "but i do not think my being at the church was a coincidence... even the pastor there was rude and cast me out." she admitted sighing a little. "i thought Pastors where supposed to be kind." she complained pouting a little as she rested in his arms. she smiled when she slowly walked back down to him, her head tilted at him as he talked about her borrowed clothes. "...i don't think the shirt is that small." she admitted looking down at it. "i rather like it." she admitted. everything was well contained, and was tight enough to hold her breasts in place even without a bra, and best of all there was little back to it, so her tattoos where well visible, she was so used to having wings there, that having a shirt with a back on it would have been very bothering.

"A Salad sounds fine." she promised smiling at him. "or an apple will be fine too if you have some..." she shrugged. "i'm not in the least bit picky." she admitted smiling at him. "anything you want to feed me really will be fine." she promised folding her hands together as she studied him, her head tilted. "i do?" she asked blinking as she looked down at herself, her head tilted a little. "i suppose so... i'm not used to clothing like this." she admitted smiling at him. "thank you, you look very nice too. you have a handsome face." she admitted smiling at him her head tilted. "where am i anyway? i assume i am... still in the United States...?"

((I almost want to be evil and say ‘no we’re in the UK’ :D))

He blushed slightly as she complimented him, looking away and scratching his nose. “Yeah…erm, ah….yeah, thanks” He told her, walking away. “And again, welcome to modern days Celeste. Most are out for themselves. And then those that are a few and far between…heck, look at the people on the street” He walked out, the room, listening to her again and just sighing. “Like I said, I don’t believe in that stuff…and as for the clothes…it kinda leaves little to the imagination” He couldn’t help but think about the woman without her clothes, mentally slapping himself for doing so.

He went to the kitchen, quickly putting together anything edible for the girl, making a quick and simple salad. “Let’s see….ok, I’m putting that down to you banged your head or something. You’re in the United States…Last I checked it was New England….May as well ask as you don’t seem to know where you are, where are you from that seems to have such a high amount of faith? The South? Rome? Jerusalem?”

He walked back in with the plate of salad, putting it down on the table with a knife and fork. “Oh wait, forgot” He ran back to the kitchen, grabbing a glass and pouring a quick glass of apple juice before coming back in. “I suppose on the house”

XDDD don't be mean to me or i'll whiiiine! *sulks* XDDD)

she smiled at his stuttering her head tilted a little before shaking her head a little. "modern day." she scoffed shaking her head. "in fifty years anything created tomorrow is going to be considered ancient and old." she admitted rolling her eyes. "the culture will be completely different and so will the people... modern day. honestly." she stated shaking her head again, sending her hair rippling around her before she grinned at him. "still, there is hope for humanity yet." she admitted smiling a little before blinking at him, looking baffled at his comment on her clothes, looking down at herself with her head tilted. "...imagination for what?" she asked, looking honestly baffled. she wasn't playing sly, she really had no idea what he meant.

when she realized she was in England of all places she damn near fell out of her chair, gaping at him with her mouth open and those gorgeous eyes wide. she had been in Wisconsin for most of her Angel Life, that was her territory of a sort, not just hers of course, but it was her job to protect anyone and everything she could in Wisconsin, not that she actually interacted or studied people, she just gave them the little miracles they needed. like the one currently in Elias's Email Inbox. a job offer, one that would be almost perfect for him. a touch of Angel magic was all that it had taken,a small nudge for the boss to take notice of Elias's Resume, and the rest was left up to free will. "i'm from Wisconsin..." she admitted, the shock and astonishment on her face. "i've... i've never even left the state... how in the HELL did i get to ENGLAND!?" she demanded, staring at him with an almost fear in her eyes. of course if she'd gotten there from heaven it wasn't as shocking, you could get anywhere you wanted to with just a thought, but why England?

she smiled at the Salad though and thanked him before blinking as he left and brought her apple juice, smiling at him. "please, excuse me." she stated, well aware her next act was going to make him uncomfortable as she folded her hands and closed her eyes. "Dear Lord, i thank you for this food, the shelter, and the hospitality of my new friend. thank you for caring for me, and please give Elias the hope he needs, amen." she muttered softly before taking her fork and tucking into the meal he had provided, not even complaining about the lack of dressing. she just ate her meal happily and sipped at her apple juice with delight, thanking him again once she was done for his care and food and thanking him again for taking her in, promising that he wouldn't regret it, and even got up once they where both done and set about doing the dishes for him.
