"STOP DODGING YOU RAT!" The Grey Empress shouted in rage as she unleashed a volley of Micro-missiles at her nemesis. The bullet sized, guided rockets slammed into the side of a building, setting off several dozen grenade sized explosions and taking a chunk out of the sky-scraper. Sandman's agility proved more than an annoyance on many occasions, and her best technology was consistently thwarted by his skills. Without waiting to see if he had been caught in the blast she revved up the particle cannons built into the forearms of her battlesuit, which made her look like some kind of futuristic commando. It was completely sealed, and covered her in several inches of high tech armor as well as armed her with a multitude of advanced weapons.

"Gigas cannons fire!" She growled and faced her palms at the building. Bright blue energy crackled around her hands as the superconductors charged to full power. Then with a thunderous roar, that energy surged forward in a super-intense beam that tore straight through the building, ripping out its innards and blasting through several other towers. Once the dust settled she shot forward, using her boosters to fly at high speeds.

"I know you aren't dead bastard! Come out and face me!" He was the thorn in her side, the one man whom constantly stopped her best laid plans and ruined her aspirations. For the last two years the entirety of her intelligence and skills had been put towards ridding the world of Blood Red Sandman. If she could kill him, then no one could stop her.

"Come on Sandycakes. You've never been scared before....lets end this once and for all!" She came to a stop and landed in the center of the giant hole she'd created. The tower was a ruin, as the hole broke though five separate floors. But even as she stood there among the rubble and bodies, all the Grey Empress could think of was that damned red mask, and how much she wanted to disintegrate it.

"Now if I were to stop and get willingly shot, what exactly what that accomplish?" Asked the joking voice of her arch rival, his voice echoing from seemingly all over. A way to make sure she never got a solid lock on him. A little sarcastic chuckle escaping from his lips as he watched her, standing in the middle of the crater "I like to think you exist because of me! What would you do if I were to just DIE, huh?"

He moved, unseen, to another portion of the building she hadn't blown to mere rubble. "I think you'd be bored! I like to think I'm the little chaos in your life that keeps you from going nuts from boredom. Also, a little request: Think you could stop blowing up all the innocent people around here? Without them, taxes won't get paid and I won't get paid by the city for kicking your ass on a near daily basis!"

He landed behind her, his bright red clothing very, very visible now. He wasn't worried about being this close to her. His reflexes were unmatched and his speed could easily outrun anything she shot at him. As he landed behind her, his eyes cast down fr a split second.

"Your very firm nice ass, if you don't mind me saying so." He smirked.

The thing that pissed Maggie off most was Sandman's voice. He sounded just like her brother, and she hated that. She liked her brother, and he'd always been supportive of her in his own way, so it just infuriated her that this prick had anything remotely in common with him. She set her suit to scan the environment, but their was too much debris for his voice to echo from, making it impossible to trace his location.

"If you were dead I'd conquer this world and live like a queen!" She growled as she continued searching. He couldn't hide forever. "And you aren't fooling anyone. If they weren't paying you then you'd let them rot!" She'd seen it herself. Sandman was a mercenary, not a hero. He only took jobs when he was paid. In their early days she'd tried to recruit him, but all negotiations had failed. He wouldn't even accept her money for some reason. "We aren't the kind of people who care about those ants. They are nothing to us. So stop STALLING AND COME OUT!" Then as she turned his voice came from directly behind her.

"DIE!" She spun around with a shout, sending a rocket powered side kick towards her enemy. Regardless of his response she charged a pulse of compressed neutron particles into her right hand. As soon as the kick was finished she lashed out with that hand, releasing the particles in a gravitic explosion. She had one special project that she was saving. If she couldn't finish him the old fashioned way, or if she could get him pinned down, then she'd use it, and have a powerful slave at her command.
