I'll try anything! (Piano arrangements)

All right. So, by no means am I a musical genius, but I'm really trying to broaden my skills by practicing turning popular songs or just any song into a piano arrangement. I'm honestly just using you guys as a sounding board for ideas. I've developed a "playlist" for a melody I'm constructing for a competition in the fall. A simple talent show, but the audience would be at most a thousand people, probably 700-800. I'm also doing a violin/piano duet of Devil Went Down to Georgia with my sister. Mainly, I'm trying to get piano gigs for bars.
