Tora was sent out to the feilds and gather the crops with the other women when it happened. Dozens of men on horses rushed into the village the men of the village fought back but most were either killed or captured. Tora and the other women ran for safty. She ran home to her mother who told her to run away into the forest. She didn't want to leave her mother behind so she begged her mother to come with her but her mother wouldn't. Some of the men burst into the house and Tora ran out the house and into the forest.

She stopped to take one last look at her home when she say two of the men standing there with smirks on their face "A pretty one we have here" one said eyeing her body up and down the other nodded in agreement. She turned to run but she felt him grab her wrist and pull her back. He held her against his body. She struggled to get out of his arms until she felt her dress being cut from the back she knew what they were going to do and she didn't like it. She elbowed him causing him to bukle over but the other man grabbed her pushing her on the ground and strattled her "Your not going anywhere."

Within moments of the vicious assault another sound was heard echoing through the air, but this was not another group coming to attack the village though it was a sound that was readying another group. This sound was loud and violent sending shivers down the spines of those he knew it to be from the enemy, a roar so loud it shook the very air around it and the owner of such a roar was Agron leader of Danaris a free city, Agron was a hybrid one that some still considered demons. His body broad and powerful, his flesh bronzed almost caramel colored in some ways, his silver armor gleaming in the light as his golden eyes stared down from the hill viciously at the men who killed the innocent, "kill them all, not a single one left alive" he ordered his own soldiers who were all feeling the same cold rage towards the invaders.

The next sound was a roar from every single on of Agron's soldiers as they charged down the hill, they made quick work of the scum that decided to attack an innocent village. Agron came forward beheading one of the men easily the second as killed by a vertical slash that nearly cut the man in two, his blade large with an unusual edge it was made to behead even in the middle of battle like an executioner's blade, the men hardly stood a chance and Agron spat upon their bodies after he killed them "didn't deserve a warrior's death" he said to no one in particular. His golden eyes now turned towards the young female that they had left behind so they could attack Agron, he approached slowly "are you okay?" his voice deep and powerful but gentle at the same time as he extended a hand to help the young female to her feet. His men had already cleared the village of the invaders though a few managed to run they would not get far for Agron had given the order to kill them all.

The man on top of Tora grabbed the top of her dres roughly and pulled it causeing her breasts to pop out. She covered herself with her arms but the other man came behind her and held them over her head. They suddenly looked up then at each other, the first man let go of her arms and the second man told her not to move.

Tora stayed where she was and only moved when she turned to see what they were doing and saw a man attack them for that she was greatful but she was still scared. She sat up slowly as he approched "I'm fine" she said, her voice shakey and small she took his hand while she pressed the top of her dress against herself with her free hand. "Thank you" she said one she was on her feet.

Agron smiled at her as she warily approached him which he did not blame her for doing after what she had been through, he squeezed her and lightly as she took his. His other hand set his impressive sword down so he could pull off his cloak and wrap it around her shoulders so she would not have to worry about anyone seeing her, even though there was a terrible tragedy around them he couldn't help but find the young woman to be extremely attractive.

"I know that this has been a terrible day but it is over now, my men have killed them and they will not come back to harm your people" he said in a gentle but firm tone. His soldiers were gathering up the remaining villagers so that Agron could address them directly before they started to scatter about seeking their own refuge from more invaders.

She smiled and wrapped it tightly around herself, she looked at him with a small smile "I don't know what My poeple can do to thank you" she said. She watched as her people were being gathered together and she saw her mother and turned to the man "My name is Tora, I think my mother would want to meet my savior" she said turning to her mother motioning for her to come over.

Tora and her mother embraced each other. Her mother turned to the man "Thank you, you saved my daughter and the village from those men"

Agron shook his head as Tora said that she was not sure what her people could do to thank him, "there is no need to give thanks as we just did the right thing" he said calmly. He was planning on addressing the whole village soon but Tora seemed to wish to introduce him to her mother, he smiled at the older woman "I only did what any of the men under my command would have done" he said in a humble tone before turning to the villagers.

"Today is a dark day I know this and there is only so much I can do to remedy the pain you have felt at the hands of this scum" he said while kicking one of corpses. "But I can offer hope to a new brighter future, come with us to the city of Danaris, there you will be protected and have a chance at new lives" he said in an encouraging tone though he noted a few of the villagers seemed to be thinking of their own plans rather than coming to the city with his group.

Tora glanced at her mother at the idea of going with them, she could see that her mother was unsure of it. She wanted to go with them it would be safer for her and her mother. "Let's go with him mother, it'll be safe" she whispered but her mother protested "Mother they will protect us" but her mother wanted to go with some of the others "Go with them if you want Tora but I'd rather stay with some of the villagers" Tora smiled and hugged her mother. She turned to the man and smiled "You never told me your name."

Agron was saddened to see more than a few of the villagers were not coming with them like Tora's mother, they seemed to think that they were better off on their own for some reason. He sighed before giving a warm smile to Tora who turned back towards him "my name is Agron and it is a pleasure to meet you Tora" he said in that gentle but powerful tone "you need to gather some things for yourself, clothes, food anything you hold dear" he said calmly.

Agron's soldiers were already helping those who were coming with them gather up the items they would need and helping those who were wounded or too old to move by themselves onto the wagons for transportation.

Tora smiled "A pleasure for me as well" She said before walkng to her home to gather the thngs she needed. She went to her room and took out her traveling bag she put her hair brush and a few dresses. She went down stairs whee her mother was packng food for her. "Thank you mother" She sad and kissed her mother's cheek and took the food. She ddn't fel rght leaving without her mother but she felt she needed to go.

She watched her mother gather with the rest who were not gong wth them and sighed, she would miss her. She had always been with her mother, never seperating.

Agron helped out a few of the other villagers who wanted to come, once they were within the wagons he nodded to his captain who moved the soldiers to the sides of the caravan so they could guard the civilians in case of an attack. As he looked back he could see Tora speaking with her mother before kissing her cheek, he still wished for the other villagers to come with them but he could see in their eyes that they would not be swayed in their decision to stay unfortunately. He walked over to Tora and her mother now "I wish you luck for your future" he said gently to Tora's mother before handing her a small bag with several gold coins within.

Tora's mother nodded "Take care of my daughter and thank you again for saving us" She said before joning the other's who were not going with them. Tora watched her mother then turned to Agron and smiled "Don;t worry my mother can take care of herself." She believe it but it didn't make her feel any better about seperating. She sighed and got on the wagon with the rest.

Agron walked behind the wagon as they began to head out, he gave one last look back to the people who were staying behind before looking towards Tora with that warm smile once again. "I am glad that you decided to come to Danaris with us Tora" he said in that powerful but gentle tone, he wasn't sure why but he found himself just enjoying the sight of Tora sitting on the edge of the wagon. He could have done it all day probably though he did have the thought of her wrapped in his strong arms while he kissed her for a moment before shaking the thought away.

(Sorry for the wait.)

Tora watched her mother until she dissapeared she sighed and looked at her hands. She looked up and smiled at Agron "Yea me too" hearing him say that somehow made her feel better. She could tell there was a hidden meaning behind the words but she couldn't figure them out. She watched his eyes and could see he was thinking curious she had to ask "What are you thinking about?"

(Hmm for some reason it isn't telling this has been replied to annoying, sorry for the wait again Dx.)

Agron smiled at her as she asked what he was thinking about, if he had still been thinking about the kiss he might have told her that but instead he waved a hand out towards the countryside. "I was just thinking you couldn't find beauty like this in the city the greenness everywhere, the animals that peek out with curiosity" he said while he saw several little rabbits looking at them for a few seconds before running away quickly. "I grew up in a village rather than the city so I still remember all the things that make it beautiful unlike some of these pure bred city boys" he called out to some of his soldiers which just drew a hearty laugh from them.

She chuckled, she knew hat he ment she loved that she grew up in a village. "No, they wouldn't understand the true beauty of the earth" she said smileing at him. She was glad he grew up in a village, now she knew how hard it as for her to leave her home. "Why did you leave your village? Was it attacked too?"

Agron shook his head as she asked if he left his village because it was attacked, "my father was a farmer and my mother was a seamstress they led no adventurous lives" he said calmly. "The village was not enough for me I grew bored listening to the same people speak about the same things everyday, my father wanted me to inherit the farm from him but I couldn't do it farming was just far too boring to me" he explained calmly. "So I left one day told them I needed adventure and excitement rather than the dullness of farm work, my little brother got the farm instead and now I have a city under my command it's an odd world we live in" he said jokingly.

She never expected that he as taking them to his city she was heppy about it. She as glad she had already met him rather than having to meet him after being brought into the city she alays found that awkward. She glanced at the people on the wagon, her neighbors they seemed both sad and happy at the same time. It was a very confusing feeling she knew how they felt, she was sad about her mother but also happy to be going into a new safe place to start her life on her own.

Agron smiled at Tora once more before looking at the country side "I do miss it occasionally though, the simple work with a good reward when the crops came in" he said softly. "Sometimes living a life of adventure is only good if you can take breaks every now and then, unfortunately when one is a leader he is often the one stuck doing more work" he said jokingly before letting out a little laugh. Agron couldn't remember the last time he had a day to himself or even just a few hours, there always seemed to be some kind of problem that needed looking into by him.

"Then you must be a good leader, but even a leader needs breaks no and then" she said smiling at him. She searched in her food pack and found an apple "How far is your city?" She took a small bite of the apple then took out a knife taking off the skin and throing it out the wagon as they moved along.

Agron laughed lightly as she said that he must be a leader and that even a leader needed breaks "this is the closest I get to breaks lately" he said with a slight grin forming at his lips. When she asked about how far away his city was he looked up at the sun and then down to the caravan to gauge how fast they were moving "perhaps half an hour if nothing slows us up" he said in an unsure tone as he was simply guesstimating.

She nodded and continued to peel her apple until it as skinless. Then she used the knife to cut chunks off and ate them. She thought of offering a piece to Agron but she didn't think he'd take it. She as attracted to him, he was strong and masculine but also sweet and sensitive.

"So Tora do you have any skills that could be used at Danaris?" he asked curiously "you don't have to have skills of course I am just curious to know more about you" he said in an honest and gentle tone as he flashed her that warm smile hoping to hold a real conversation with her until they got to the city.

"Well, I can sew and cook like most of the girls in my village. I'm also great with kids they seem to like me for some reason. But I don't have any unusual skills just normal village girl skills." She smiled and threw her apple core into the woods. She like talking to him it somehow made her forget that she was moving away from her home and farther away from her mother.
