Chivalry, not quite dead.

I'd like to use a character I've been working on:

Tristan, a young (24- 28) man with dark messy hair, somewhat muscular but not a beefcake, light blue almost grey eyes.

Yes, there can be sex; in fact the theme is encouraged as long as that's not the WHOLE point.

I want to use Tristan as a sort of knight, doesn't have to be in medieval times.

I would go for:

1) Present day after some sort of cataclysm has changed the rules of physics and combustion now barely works if at all (essentially no guns and no cars, planes, etc)

2) I just finished reading the Percy Jackson and the Olympians novels (yeah I know it's for kids but it gave me some ideas); something like that, but more mature. If you've read the books we can use some of the same places (camp, new york, san fran etc) If not I can either fill you in or we make something new. Essentially greek mythology in today's world with mortals none the wiser.

3) Or a full on fantasy world we make up between the two of us.

First idea is interesting. Don't know about second, never have read Percy Jackson and 3rd one is always good if you do it right
