"You have been charged for envy and seeking the sin of physical pleasure" The words boomed through the courthouse, everything was a brilliant white, though it seemed like hell to Alec. "Your punishment will be 1,000 years on Earth, without your wings" the male said, a ripping feeling starting in his shoulder blades and going down his back. He looked back and saw his beautiful white wings being carried away by two angels who had just pulled them out. It was agonizing, bringing him to his knees as they came back and applied a gel-like substance to keep it healthy.
When he blinked again he found himself on paved streets, dressed in white cloth that was wrapped around him. He started freaking out a little bit, not knowing what he should be doing or where he should go. Little did he know that he was in New York City, one of the most populated cities on the planet and the most active demon 'nests' in the world. Demons were everywhere, some even blending into society and looking completely human, especially when wearing contacts to hide their eyes. Alec was lucky that there weren't too many people around and that he was near a restaurant, realizing that he needed food, something he had never wanted before.
He tried going in before they kicked him out, apparently you needed some sort of exchange for food here, and something he was lacking of. He wrapped his arms around his body, feeling like he was freezing, and his feet were killing him, not having anything to cover them up with, they were bleeding. He made it to central park and sat down on one of the grassy hills, holding his feet and muttering in angelic, waiting for it to heal him and groaning in disappointment and frustration when nothing happened.
