Naylah Pressed those dainty canines against her drawn in lower lip Going over the checklist for this newest area she was about to head off to. "Spare clothing---Check.. Water and food" She looked down to the large hiking pack before her, within it were tuba-ware containers holding her meals along side with packets of jerky, trail mix and assorted snack mixes. " Check" She neatly folded her things placing the items one by one into the pack as she checked them off the list. Giving a soft sight she placed one hand on her slender waist, while the other clawed hand ruffled through her short blonde and red hair. Her blue eyes giving one final sweep over the list. All that remain to was her pocket knife, and the map followed with her sleeping beg. She had every thing else.
With a small grunt she lifted the heavy sack and walked to the door. Placing it next to it before slipping on her hiking boots on. She wore simple forest green shorts, and a black tank top that nearly blended in with the soft fur that covered her body. Straightening she stretched, her tail fluffy and soft black curling much like a huskies. She gave a small look around her hotel room, before gathering up her sleeping bag, and pocketed her knife and map.
Naylah had always been an outsider. No not a Loser. truth was she was pretty popular. But that was besides the point. She through her pack over one shoulder and made her way to her jeep. She was heading far from where she was. To a place even she had never been. Though she had been warn by few of the locals that it was a bad idea heading into the mountains. But did she listen. Nope.
****************
She arrived at the Guides quarters, signing in as per requested. The guide warning her one last time. "Miss you shouldn't be heading up there, not alone, actually not at all." the sheriff warned her.
"Why is everyone trying to stop me. whats really dangerous out there that everyone is so scared to let hikers up." She asked quirking a slender brow, her red bangs shading over one blue eye. Whether they like it or not she was going up. With that she shook her head and set off for the trail.
The sun bore down warmly against her dark fur, birds sang happily above as the glided along the noon breeze. She wondered if this beast she had been warned about was truly so terrible. She faced some pretty scary creatures. what would make this guy any different. She slowed her eyes casting to the forest canopy to the clear blue sky above.
