The Land of Faerie in the supernatural world called the NeverNever is a strange, lovely, erotic place. The Two Fae Courts, Summer (Seelie) and Winter (Unseelie) rule the land. There are many forms of fae. Elves, Pixie Faeries, Trolls, Gruffs....But all the Queens and Knights are human...almost. They are more lovely than the most lovely human, more powerful than the strongest wizard.
Each court has three queens, one king and one knight.
The Mothers (Queens that came before)
The Mothers are the most powerful fae and the ones who used to be Queens. They live in their homes in Faerie and enjoy visiting their old courts
The Queens (The Queens that are)
The current rulers of the Summer and Winter Courts.
The Ladies (The Queens that will be)
The women who are training to become the next Summer and Winter Queens.
The Kings (Those who rule separately)
Both Summer and Winter King are independent of the Queens and in a way is the opposite of his queen
The Knights (The Swords of the Queens)
The chosen champions of Summer and Winter. They are always powerful Humans, hand picked by the Queens.
This RP will be a 4-10 person rp set in Faerie. Each person takes the role of one of the queens or knights and creates a character around that template.

Facts about High Sidhe and Fae in general
Sidhe cannot speak an outright lie. They are, however, very adept at word plays and the twisting of meaning and literal speech.
Words, promises, and oaths are binding to the faeries. They have to make good on their own promises, but also make sure that an involved human does the same. Combined with their way around words, they can often snare an unsuspecting mortal with a bargain or even an accidental promise.
Faeries are vulnerable to cold iron, which is deadly to them. Iron and also running water can disrupt faerie magic and glamour.
The faeries have are two great political entities, the Faerie Courts; one of them is called the Summer Court, the other the Winter Court. Both Courts have their territories in the land Faerie. Each Court is governed by three queens, the Mother, the Queen, and the Lady, with the Queen being the ruling sovereign.
Most of the faeries belong one of the two Faerie Courts. Those faeries that do not belong to either are the Wyldfae.
At the time of the Summer Solstice, the Summer Court rules. The opposite is true or Winter. And if one side destroys the other, than the world ends. Well, sort of, anyway. The world as we know it ends. There will be an imbalance in weather and so on. Each Court rules equally. They don't like each other, but they stand each other in order to keep balance.
The Courts are usually, but do not have to be, like their season. Summer Fae are usually warm, beautiful, kind and loving. Winter is mostly cold, beautiful and deadly. But, Winter Fae can also be kind and Summer Fae can be cold. It depends on the person.
The King and Queen hold equal standing. The Queens rule their Courts and the Kings rule their part of the WyldFae. Like the Erlking rules the Wyld Hunt, a Fae hunt in the Human World that takes place on Halloween as well as ruling the Summer Elves and Goblins. The Winter King rules the Wyld Winter Fae and Dark Elves. If the King or Queen dies, they are replaced quickly.
Fae Politics kind of is cut throat. But it is more their servants that are doing the cutting and the throating. The Kings and Queens never fight each other physically. They leave it to the underlings to do that. For Example: The Gruffs (Summer.) are best known for being Troll (Winter) killers. The Eldest Gruff (They are all brothers. Read Three Billy Goats Gruff) also happens to be a crazy powerful Wizard.
The Queen has sex with the man who she chooses as her knight when he becomes the knight as a ceremony and ritual that trades some of her power to the knight.
