So. I've been craving a roleplay lately that I kind of took the idea of from the tim burton movie Corpse bride. Only I've made it a little less..child friendly.
In some countries (It's illegal now but it still happens none the less) When a young, unmarried man dies, his corpse is wed to the fresh corpse of an unwed young woman. It happened A lot, actually. And do to the demand of unwed, virgin, young female corpse, murder would comitted by those who's job it was to find the body's for the families of the dead men. Sometimes unknown to the families, sometimes not. Sometimes the families would commit the murder.
So in this story, a 25 year old man who had lived all his life living in riches. Having all that he wanted, made no time to find love. So when he was struck with a deadly illness and doomed to die, his familie convinced to wed a corpse. However they didn't wait until he was dead. While he could still walk and be away from the hospital he stayed in, an underground weding took place. His bride dead only a few hours when it happened. he was a rich man. A stubborn boy. And stayed clear of most people. Only hanging around his family the high powered men he worked with. But he wasn't..cruel. He wasn't an unkind. Just uncaring if that made any sense. He wouldn't harm others on perpose. But when it came to money he could care less about anyone else as long as he had more than he would ever need. He didn't know..he didn't know that his bride was not only dead, but murdered. He was lead to believe she had died of heart problems she had been born with. That her death was one seen coming for a long time and she was lucky to have lived to be her age of 19. But when living, her heart was strong. Her health was perfect. It the posion that killed her. The poison that was slipped into her water that morning. She was the perfect corpse bride. A petite figure but with the proper curves of a woman. A virgin never touched by the hands of man. very young and very beautiful with her long, wavey black hair and green eyes bright. well. They were bright when she was alive. Dead they are the only thing about her body that shows her..state of being. Glossed over and milky, their colour gone. They are wed and he is forced to kiss her cold, dead lips. But fate changes every day and his uncureable disease..turns out to be nothing of the sort. He was sick, but not with what the doctors thought. He lived. He lived and she did not. She was buried in an unmarked grave far from any cemetery to cover up the whole thing. Her murder and her marriage. He removed his ring, tossed in the grave with her..forgot about it. Pushed it from his mind. But oh...she would never let him forget. He things it is stress..guilt knowing that he had disgraced her corpse but wedding her, and not honoring it. Though he still knows nothing of her true death. But he see's her. In mirrors, reflections of any time. Shadows move in the corners of his eyes and he can't sleep because she haunts his dreams. But two weeks after her burial, he goes back. Hoping maybe if he see's her grave, begs for forgiveness there, she'll go away. But something else happens.. he moves to place a rose on her grave and the moment it touches the ground, his hand is grasped tightly by her own cold, dead hand that protrudes from the ground below him, refusing to let go. He fights it and breaks free but her corpse rises from the grave after him. he is traped between her, and the stone wall that seperates the forest from the town. There she takes him, takes him down the depths of death with her.
Death, the underworld. Whatever you like to call it. Will appear as it does in the movie corpse bride. Like a big town under ground. Accept of course, it'll be real people, not clay..
I need a partner for this roleplay. I will play the corpse bride, of course. I don't really care if my partner is male or female as long as they play male characters.
