serious question

Being fairly new to RP, I see a lot of requests for anime and furry.

What exactly is this? I had no idea there was so much to learn and so many different styles of writing. I feel kind of foolish asking, but I have not experienced much in RP, before coming to BMR though I am learning a lot. I would like to learn so much more.

Anime can be described as: "Japanese movie and television animation, often having a science fiction theme and sometimes including violent or explicitly sexual material." They are mostly cartoon-ish characters instead of "real people".

Furry is more or less an interest in anthropromorphic creatures. Usually involving the character that resembles and animal with the ability to talk, walk, handle objects, etc. just like a normal human would. There are different degrees of "furry", from feral to anthro's.

I've only been a member for a few months, but my stay here has been wonderful. Everyone I've met as been awesome and helpful. So all I can do is return the favor.
