I am a literate roleplayer and therefore I only want to play with other literate roleplayers. I play heterosexual scenes only but I do not care if you are a male or a female roleplayer, as long as we work out a way for one of us to be playing a female character and one of us to be playing a male character, its all good.
Post Length: I post between 4 and 10 paragraphs for an introduction and never drop below 2 in my replies. I am not saying you have to write a huge introduction but I would like at least 2 paragraphs in responses. I like to write and can only do so when you give me something to work with.
Where I play: Over PM and Email only. PM is preferred.

Plots:
After moving into a Victorian house with her parents, an eighteen year old girl (can make her a bit older or a bit younger) discovers an old painting in the attic of the family who originally lived there. An older man and woman and their son, a handsome young man who looked to be in his mid twenties when they sat for the picture. She puts it away and doesn’t think much more of it. That night she has a dream about the young man, nothing too crazy, but still odd as it’s just a dream of him going through a normal day. She dreams of him each night, always something different. And then as she goes to bed during a storm, she finds herself actually in the dream, which now has become very real and very confusing as the young man tells her that he has been dreaming of her too.
Knight/Princess
The knight has served the King with great loyalty for years and has earned his respect. However, during a battle the Knight is injured and forced to return from the battle field. He isn't used to laying around doing nothing but the King refuses to send him back while he is still healing. He begs the King for a task, any task to keep him busy. The King agrees and tells him that he will watch out for his youngest child, the Princess. The Knight is a little put off by the idea, he doesn't see how this will ease his boredom. However, he is surprised to find that the Princess is smart, feisty and thoroughly entertaining. The two soon become friends and that friendship soon sways towards love. However, he is now healing far too rapidly for his own good and he knows its only a matter of time before the King sends him back to the battlefield and away from the Princess he has grown to love.
Mermaid/Captain
During a storm a strange young woman is washed onto the deck of a Captain's trading ship. She claims that her ship was destroyed during the storm and she was the lone survivor. The Captain decides to finish with his business before returning her back to land and along the journey the two start to have feelings for each other. He notices that she seems very drawn to the sea but never goes in. After their relationship deepens, she tells him that she is a mermaid, banned from the sea from her father who happens to be the King of the ocean. He laughs at her. Has the young woman he has grown to love gone crazy? How can this very human looking girl be the mermaid she claims she is?
This one is very rough and open to a lot of changes. I was thinking that the girl is anywhere from 16 to 18 and that the Captain is older, in his late twenties/early thirties.
