The humid air of the rainforest was thick, every breath a bit harder to take that usual. The two explorers were on a search through the vines and trees for a list village. It was rumored to have separated from the outside world nearly a millennium ago. They vowed to find it, but finding it was much harder that one would think. It had been a week of searching but no luck so far. The two explorers determined to not give up their search, they carried on heading East.
Jason and Chris were their names, the best exploring pair in the world. They had been best friend since highschool and always had a thing for history class. The two had to trek through worse conditions than the rainforest in the past but the thick foliage made it a tough journey. Jason continued to hack through a path as Chris kept an eye out to see off there was any sign of the village. They came to a clearing and rested for a minute, having a chance to get a drink before moving on. This village, if they discovered it, would be an amazing find. It wouldn't be their first discovery, and certainly wouldn't be their last.
As they headed back on their search, they decided to try a new direction. They headed North instead of East. The thick vines and other plants seemed to thin out as they went, getting easier to cut through. It was strange but helpful as they continued on. Soon they heard the sound of voices, people voices. Could it really be? The two ran towards the noise quickly dashing around trees and other obstacles. The stopped just before a clearing. It was full of many huts and people, but not ordinary people. They were like animals that stood on two legs but still looked human. They looked at eachother in amazement before stepping bravely into their village. This village was the biggest discovery, even more than the ancient one but only if they lived to tell the tale.
