Things were going great right now. Well... almost everything. Krillin was now out a best friend again. He was greatful for it though, with Gokus sacrifice Gohan was able to defeat Cell and, for the time being, bring peace back to Earth. He was married now, to 18 amazingly! Although he still found it quite odd that she was still going by that number. She had no memory before Gerros experiments. Even with Bulmas surgery to remove her android parts no memories came back to her, he wondered if they were even there anymore. Off of the topic of her name and on to the very, almost unbelievable, fact that Krillin and 18 were now husband and wife even more so that they now have a daughter. He couldn't explain it either. Ever since that first kiss she gave him he figured that something within him stirred and a growing attraction to her began to build, it grew to the point that he was willing to risk not deactivating her just to give her a chance at life.
Now here he was, waking up on a bright sunny morning staring at her sleeping form. She looked radiant even when she was sleeping. He stared at her for a few minutes, not wanting to disturb her sleep and was content with just looking at her. That changed when he felt a familiar power level coming towards Roshis island. He silently got out of bed and slipped on his usual blue and orange fighting gii. He went outside to see Gohan fast approaching the island.
When he landed he quickly spoke to Krillin, "Krillin,'some trouble is brewing in West City and it needs our help. Piccolo and the others are waiting, come on!" Krillin nodded and took off with Gohan, not even thinking about asking 18 for her thoughts on him leaving to go try and save the world avian and rising his life for a bunch of strangers.
