The library seemed so dark and cold and ominous as Emilia walked through the aisles. It was deathly quiet, the only sound the click of her heels as they struck the hard stone of the floors as she walked. She shivered a bit as she made her way deeper into the Restricted Section, knowing that the books she'd require would more than likely only be located there. Browsing the books on the shelves, she looked for anything that might be helpful, useful. She hoped she could find something. Anything.

Emilia looked through book after book. Nothing... just nothing. Sure, she learned quite a bit about Lycanthropy in general, but nothing that already wasn't common knowledge. And there had been plenty on Wolfsbane Potion as well. It was a tricky potion indeed and after reading up on it, she could see why so few could afford to actually purchase any to take it so regularly. Though, she wondered if perhaps they could grow some of the ingredients themselves to help save on costs. It wouldn't hurt.

Even still, Emilia didn't feel satisfied. She didn't feel like she'd been overly productive. Granted, she technically hadn't even started yet, but she still hoped to start off with something. Anything. Flustered, she pounded a fist against a row of books on a dusty shelf. As she did, one of the books fell and hit the stone floor with a thud. Startled, she let out a tiny squeak before finally bending down to pick up the large tome.

Deathly Healing

Emilia arched a brow as she looked at it. "What a strange title for a book," she mumbled to herself, shivering a little at the oxymoron. Morbidly curious, she set the book down on the table and opened it up. None of the pages seemed overly interesting or pertinent to her...

"What's this...?" Emilia suddenly said aloud.

Looking more closely at the page, Emilia wasn't sure if she looked at scribbled ink correctly. She wasn't even sure if what she saw was common knowledge or not. More than likely, Professor Lupin was probably already aware of what she'd just read, but she had to admit... she'd never heard of such a thing. Not ever. And she'd just read several books on Lycanthropy not to mention had studied it back in primary and even recently at Secondary. Unfortunately, there wasn't much to go by with what she'd read which would mean many experiments would have to be conducted... but still... it was a lead. She needed to find Professor Lupin. Right away.

(Before Dinner)

Renee finished putting the books back she had been looking at, having decided she had waited long enough to go to have dinner. She was in one of her moods, the kind that really sometimes bothered her. It was sparked by that letter she had found, that someone had sent to her the day before her arrival. She didn't want to be something she clearly was not, but someone at the school was very determined to make her into this evil person. She was well aware of all that was done to bring about her birth, and it still made her angry and sick. She was not going to be some kind of perverse "savior" for a deeply repugnant ideology, and as she walked out of the library with the books she was borrowing, she set in her mind that she would find out which of the Creeps around here had sent the letter.
