Samuel had stopped and sat down to make certain that he had all that he needed for the day, which was the time that Renee arrived in the Common Room. She smiled and they talked for a few minutes, saying hello to and asking several others about how their first day and night of school really went. The general feeling was that it went well, though a couple of the other First Years asked about whether or not some of what happened in some of the classes were standard events. After assuring them that was the case, the two of them exchanged looks and walked away. Both Renee and Samuel mused about which professor they may have been giving that look to each other about, and as they left to head on to the Great Hall they spoke quietly to each other about that.
