Sherri stared down the building infront of her. It was four stories high, and had the appearance that it was ancient, though her research had found it was only now reaching its 25th year in being open. As she mulled it over, Sherri reasoned that the Academy of the Supernatural could've only opened then, as Vampires had finally been given rights in the States around that time. Though they had existed for thousands of years, no one had been willing to consider them anything but monsters up until the late 21st century, when a synthetic blood had been created. With the need to feed off of humans taken care of, many had come out of the shadows ans begun grouping together to better their way of life.
Sherri had only joined their ranks within the last two weeks of summer before her final year of highschool, when a gruesome car accident had put her at death's door. She was thankful to be a live, but starting over at a new school was unnerving for a senior. Taking a deep breathe, she pulled one of the huge doors open and walked into the mostly empty halls. It was 10 pm, early by her new school standards, but she had to get her papers in order with her new principal, along with getting a uniform and meeting her guide who'd be sticking by her side to help her familiarize with the school. She ran her fingers through her dark, chocolate colored hair, which sat just above her shoulders in a gentle curl. At 5"3', the blue eyed girl was by no means tall, but the heels she wore today pushed her up to 5"6'. Wandering down the twisting halls, she finally found the door marked 'principal', and knocked gingerly.
