Larten nodded as the captain told him that was the furthest he could go. You see Larten was a scientist, going out in the world to research and catalog new species, so where better to go than the Bermuda Triangle right? He had spent years preparing himself for this moment, picking up a decent sized duffel bag, a backpack for his tent, a briefcase for his work materials and a suitcase for his clothes. Setting them on one side of the boat he sat on the other and smiled. "Thanks for the help! I'll call you when it's done."Larten said grabbing hold of the oars as he rowed his way towards the infamous island.

The cool breeze of the ocean hit him, it was amazing as always a smile on his face as the island grew closer. "Almost there."Larten said with happiness. Then without a warning, literally in the blink of an eye, he was above some island of sorts one he'd need seen before, his boat was gone and all he had was the items he brought with him. Then he began to descend, growing faster like a meteor hurtling towards earth. "Fuck!"Was all he could muster out of his voice as he continued to fall. If he had looked beneath him he would realize he would hit a building, one that's apart of a village that he was about to hit. Right as he was about to hit the building he stopped as if a big cushion stopped him, then he fell again falling through the roof, not to his death, but still pain. "Ow."Larten muttered placing a hand on his head as he lied there, slowly drifting off into darkness.

Sheena was just finishing dealing with grooming her feathers for the morning when the faintest of whistling noises was heard over the village. Looking up at the ceiling, the woman blinked for a moment, emerald green eyes thoughtful before the sound stopped...and someone crashed through her roof.

Getting up off the tall wooden stool, the busty redhead frowned at the sound of someone in the room above her groaning upon impact, then shook her head. 'Don't tell me it's Methuea again...she's always wrecking something with her ridiculous inventions.' Heading for the stairs in bare feet, her movements silent with her enormous white wings tucked to her back, Sheena's leaf green skirt flared about her legs and hips as she glided to the room that had been damaged.

And found something amazing. Or rather...someone. It was a male. A nearly furless one nonetheless! Most of the men creatures that her village could procreate with were brutal beasts with thick bodies, ugly as sin faces and temperaments that matched. And as Sheena was one of the Guardians of the village and the city that lay a few miles west, she was charged routinely with finding, capturing and containing some of the primitive, beastial male creatures that her people could mate with...then killing them in order to protect those women who had mated with them, as the male species on the island tended to become too dominantly posessive of the strong-willed females who dwelled here. Grabbing one of the long, single-pieced steel spears that she had mounted on the wall of the hallway as a decoration, the winged woman pointed the tip of it at the male...creature, as he groaned. "...What in the Nineth Hell are you?"

Not the best way to ask a quesion, but she had never been very good at diplomacy or it's finer qualities.

Larten groaned he had already blacked out, the wind was the last thing that cooled his body before eternal pitch black darkness overcame him. He groaned, but it was only in his mind apparently. God damn it...what in the bloody hell just happened!? That's not even physically possible is it. And what the hell did I just hit! It hurt like a bitch. Larten thought to himself calmly.

As he heard a quick rustle he heard a voice, commanding yet gentle like a woman's. His eyes fluttered open his eyelashes long like any human male moved rapidly as he tried to regain full control. A sigh escaping his pursed lips as he finally realized...he was in someone's home. He tossed of all the luggage he carried to turn around with a quick twist of his hips on his knees to beg for forgiveness. Then he noticed something. Holy shit she's gorgeous...but where's her shirt? Are those wings!? Obviosuly astonished, his jaw dropped. Quickly he gathered himself and bowed repeatedly.

"I'm so sorry, I didn't mean to destroy your home, I swear it wasn't on purpose. It was an accident I swear!"Larten said repeatedly as he bowed multiple times. Then realizing...she wasn't human. With his head still down he spoke. "I'm just a regular human...male."Larten said making sure his golden gun was hidden deep in his coat.

"....Well that was obvious. Of course you're male, you have no breasts. Are you sick in the head or something?" Her tone more than a little cranky, Sheena still pointed the spear at the human, who was currently bowing so much she thought he'd probably bash a hole into the floorboards if he kept it up. "Good grief, stand up already, I ain't gonna hurt'cha." The guy was wiry, lean and obviously not a fighter, something she was happy about but still wary of. The lean ones tended to be faster, able to get in more strikes to tender or weak areas in a Guardians' body that could potentially kill the Guardian or cripple her.

Bringing the spear point up, she set the other end, a knob coated in thick steel, on the floor with a tap, her wings rustling in mild agitation as she placed one hand on her hip. Tilting her head to look at the male, she pursed her lips lightly, then sighed and shook her head. "Great. So you're one of those OutCasts then...a human not from this island." Explaining the last bit, the woman shook her head again then motioned fo the guy to start moving. "I gotta report your arrival to Headquarters, get'cher stuff and let's go....it's a long way to get to the city." To be honest, Sheena was glad the house itself was more just a Waystation than her home, which was in the City, so the house getting messed up was easy enough to fix, as the building itself was mostly clay and daub, with wood and straw for the roof.

With his things, the human would have to walk to the City, good thing there weren't many bandits about of late, a few raids on their bases had sent most of them into hiding.

Larten watched the spear closely, he didn't want to get accidentally impaled because he did something wrong or slipped. Although most of all...he didn't need to look at he woman's wings...or chest for that matter. It was strange, he had fallen into somewhere he had never heard of before, heading towards Bermuda he landed on something that appeared to be...an entirely new place.

"Y-y-yes."Larten muttered calmly. In all reality he was a bit lean with the layers he wore, but in reality it was just lean muscle. He was physically it, six pack and all, and he could definitely hold his own in a fight, but he chooses not to unless without another choice.

Quickly he got onto his feet and rushed over to his bags tossing the duffel, briefcase and tent over his shoulders, and picked up the suitcase and lifted it wih ease. Turning to face her he gave a hesitant smile forcing his eyes with rather difficulty to look her in the eyes only. "I-I'm done."Larten said calmly.

"You having a problem looking at my chest or something?" Taking noteof the hesitations he had with his eyes and body posture, the redhead smirked slightly and lifted her hand off her hip to brush them over her bared breasts, plumping them slightly to draw hs attention. The only reason why she never wore breast bands or shirts was because of her wings; she couldn't fly with cloth near them and was actually more comfortable without clothing on her torso anyways.

Raising her eyebrows slightly to gauge his reaction, the bird-woman tried really hard not to laugh. There were books and scrolls in the City Library that told of humans that lived off of the Island, OutCasts, who apparently had developed extremely bizarre manners and ideas. Something called Modesty was one that none of the scientists and Ancients still hadn't figurd out. "Come on, get walking." Not willing to let him follow her, in case he planned an attack later on, Sheena stepped to the side of the doorway to let him by, spear still in her hand.

Larten flushed red, he tried to make it inconspicuous and obviously failed miseray. He realized what she was doing, but didn't look down. Talk about willpower...that shit was difficult for any sane man to pull off. "Where I'm from it's wrong to stare at a womans body parts like that...the sexual ones I should say."Larten said still blushing, his hands instinctively slid into his pocket just to make sure they didn't...try anything.

Realizing she wanted him to go first he nodded. Making his way past her, his gun still completely concealed beneath his layers so even if he were frisked they would not feel anything. Then he realized something instantly when he stepped outside. They spoke English...that's strange a new species entirely...and they still spoke English. He looked at the signs his eyes following them until he was told where to go easily following directions. "It isn't a far travel is it?" Larten asked, eyeing the scenery...the colors on this world...were simply amazing.

Sheena nearly laughed aloud at his words, humans outside of the island certainly did have strange customs. Sure, her breasts were errogenous zones, but they were truly only useful to feed babies and only when they were lactating at that. "Well you're certainly in for a surprise here then, can't wait to see your face going red again like that, it's pretty cute." As they stepped outside of the house, several people were out and about, looking up at her roof and murmuring. Most of them were naked, some covered in fur that hid certain areas but not all. And most of the women in this village were cat-animal based in appearance, some with basic fur and ears and tails, with others growing more beastial in appearance, not less.

A naked woman with larger breasts, little fur and entirely naked hurried up to Sheena when it became known that the person she was herding was a male, and a human at that. "Sheena...is that a...?" Fear obvious in the womans large cat's eyes, Sheena smiled and shook her head. "Yeah...he's a man, one of those rare OutCasts apparently....I'm taking him to HeadQuarters, can you fetch us some horses?" The woman nodded and took off fast, her tail helping her balance as she ran. "Almost no one here will be wearing clothes until we get closer to the City...so you might as well get used to it human."

Larten chuckled slightly...he could do the same, but judging by there customs it wouldn't phase anyone. He sighed slightly stopping as a girl, feline most likely approached him. Ill need toget a sample of that. Realizing how dirty that thought was after he had already thought it. He sighed slightly...this would be something strange for him definitely. Eyeing the crowd he was astonished...people out here...really didn't like to wear clothes. It was strange to say the least.

"Alright...well...I'll try I guess."Larten said a bit calmer after being here for a little longer. He watched the girl run off for horses and sighed. Damn...she was hit for a feline woman. Larten chuckled slightly watching the horses arrive he mounted one, slipping his bag around parts of the saddle and latching it on so he wasn't carrying anything, before removing his coat. With one layer gone of his multiple layers, his chiseled body became a bit more prominent. "Shall we go now?"

Shaking her head slightly at the humans' audaciousness, Sheena mounted hers as well then kneed it gently to begin the long ride. It was only a day or so to the city by horse, and just a few hours by wing, but she was NOT about to carry the human any distance with all of his baggage. Yeesh that's like asking for her to try and lift a ten tonne weight with just her fingertips.

It wasn't difficult to keep the human in sight, thankfully, the horse he was riding was old and prone to wanting to stop to graze apparently. But at least it seemed amicable enough. "So...what's it like outside of the Island human? Judging by your reactions I'd say that customs are very different compared to here."

Larten smiled breathing in the cool fresh air of this almost completely new world was almost a relief. It wasn't poisonous thank god, and for some reason...it smelled...sweeter. He smiled gently, the colors and smells of this world were enough to make him happy, even if he had fallen hundreds of feet to his near death, and held at spearpoint by a shirtless woman with an amazing rack. He couldn't help but still smile. The horse was odd...he was...possibly retarded, every now and them Larten kneed him lightly and pulled the reins of the horse to direct it off in a different direction and smile. The horse continuing to move forward, until he finally registered her question.

"The world outside of here? Well...it's...different to say the least. Which is an incredible understatement now that I think about it. In all reality it's completely different. We've been taught staring at a persons private parts are...not allowed. Especially ones used in sexual activity."Larten blushed a bit before continuing. "We're all fully clothed, and we're all pretty much educated. We tend to have a distinct look that makes it obvious, and we have jobs that people here might use as well. You see, I'm a scientist, I was sailing off to and island...when...I just appeared here and feel to almost my death, but...something cushioned my fall right before I crashed through your roof." Lartenfinished calmly as he saw the outline of what appeared to be a city in the distance. "Your turn...first off I'd like to know your name. Second...why are women stunned to see a male? Don't you have them here?"

"Oh we have males alright....just none that look like you at all." Making a face, Sheena shook her head and picked up the pace once she knew he could control the horse. "Your world sounds unpleasant, what's the point in covering body parts anyways, it's much easier to wear something easy to slide off if you get wet or need sex or something. Or nothing at all...you have strange customs." They'd gathered a crowd of villagers, all eager to see the newcomer and the Guardian off, but the winged woman barely noticed. "That cushioning when you fell would probably be the Zephirs, they're tiny wind spirits, small but they tend to gather in large colonies about a hundred or so feet above villages in order to play with the smoke from food fires and the like. I'm guessing you don't have Zephirs where you come from then...the little ones tend to help people that fall, but if they get startled by someone dropping in on them, they get scared and Blink out, which is why you fell again."

Running out of words, Sheena looked ahead to the shadow that was the city in the far distance and smiled in a rather lascivious manner "You're the first person who's arrived to our Island in over a thousand years, and since you're cute you're probably going to get touched when we get to the city....alot." She grinned then, easing her words a bit before adding "I'm Sheena by the way. Any other questions?" As she asked that, a vibrantly blue flying squirrel zipped out of the treeline and landed in her hair, clinging to it and chittering lightly in a cheerful series of short barks and chits and squeaks.

Larten nodded, listening to her explanation calmly as the horses continued to move. For some reason these horses were stronger as well...something about this world...so similar...yet...so different. "That explains a lot then. Obviously not, we have nothing like the wind creatures...te only thing similar would be birds, but they would never help anyone in a situation like that."Larten said calmly smiling to himself gently.

"I'm cute am I?"Larten said with a sight chuckle as he heard the rest of the sentence. "Oh...well...um...wow."Larten said blushing slightly as he diverted his eyes away just so she couldn't see him blush. "Beautiful name. Mine is Larten."He spoke quietly, and his voice was very calming and deep a chuckle escaping his lips as he saw the bird. Right as he was about to say something they were at the city already. "Well...better get this over with."Larten said with a sigh.
