Eli had only been in this city for a couple of days and he had already put three leeches to rest. New York was infested with them and there were not enough hunters left in the city to do anything about it. He was sitting in the rundown motel room that he had rented for the week pouring over newspapers and internet stories trying to pick up some more leads about a large group of vampires that he had heard rumors about. The only real issue about reading for mysterious deaths in New York is every one had some form of twist to it. He sighed and brushed his dull medium length silver hair from his face his ice blue eyes glowing a little in the light given off by his computer screen. After a few exhausting hours he finally picked up on one common aspect to a few of the deaths. Several of the victims had been seen at one particular nightclub in the area. "Hmmm seems like I found a leech club. Damnit" He hated dealing with nightclub vampires, they were always a pain in the ass."
After getting directions to the club he stood and moved over to one of the two cases he brought with him. Zipping it open he snatched out a pair of black denim jeans and a button down deep green shirt with a large Celtic knot on the back. After grabbing a quick shower and shaving his face clean he studied his face for a minute. These past months of harsh hunting had taken their tole. His otherwise youthful facial features had been offset by a large scar that ran down one of his cheeks and his decently tanned skin had began to show the wear and tear of being constantly on the move. He sighed and slipped his clothes on and put on a pair of slick black boots. He then walked over and studied the tools of his trade. He picked up two six inch folding pocket knives with holy scriptures engraved in their solid silver blades and dropped them into his pockets. He then grabbed one of his rosaries and draped it around his shoulders hiding it under his shirt. He turned and started out the door snatching his wallet off of the table.
Before long he was standing outside the door to Glitter. The bouncer was easy enough to get past, having a few $100's set aside to buy his way into places helped with the job. Once in he was instantly bombarded with obnoxious music and flashing lights. He sighed and began making his way through the groups. A vampire could definitely easily hide in here. After moving around for a while he caught site of a section that he could only imagine was the suck-head area. He knew he wasn't getting in there with out an escort so now came the fun part being his own bait. He sighed and moved to the bar just outside the vampire section and ordered a double whiskey on ice and sat there taking small drinks scanning the area for anyone he recognized as a vampire.
none of the older vampires danced, mostly because they didn't have to, to get their next meal. while Mandi was one of these vampires that didn't need to dance to get their attention, she loved to do so anyways. swaying her hips to the beat of the fast pace music she moved her way around other, younger, vampires and humans that didn't wet her lips. then dancing her way down the stair she caught sight of new blood. making her way to the bar, she stopped her dancing long enough to order a bloody mary and push the bar tender to put it on someone else's tab.
taking a better glance at the new guy she couldn't believe she hadn't seen him as soon as he entered the club. his silver hair and blue eyes were rare and she was very interested in sinking her teeth in him. once she recieved her drink she finally turned to him, gracefully pushing her over her shoulder, and pushed for him to look at her. "hey, i haven't seen you here before," taking a sip from her drink she smiled, her fangs easily hidden, "my name is Mandi".
