The sudden explosion tore the air apart, as pieces of the building flew into the streets. The screech of tires and smell of burned rubber filled the air as traffic avoided the debris. The men inside the building held semi-automatic rifles, shells firing into the ceiling as one demanded for everyone to get down and not to move. All of them wore black masks that hide their faces, keeping their identities secret. Two men went to the computer terminals behind the counter and began to type furiously opening file after file of information. The building was owned by one of the wealthiest business owners in the city, these men where here seemingly to take as much information regarding a particular project that could revolutionize the world so to speak, or at the very least it was what their employer had told them.
"Sir we got it!" one shouted, plugging in a device and downloading all the files into it. The task would take a few minutes, however they all did not seem rushed. In fact as the download completed the men did not leave. Rather waited. The police department began to gather around the building, sirens flashing in mid day. The scene was like that of a movie, the moment when one man holding a megaphone began to ask for demands. "Stay the fuck out of our way...or we'll blow you all to shit!" was their reply. "Where the hell are they?" the leader impatiently taped on his gun, every now and then his eyes would dart up towards the sky. "Lets move them all towards the windows," came the command moments later, and the men ushered the civilians closer to the large panes of glass. They knew very well there might be snipers soon, they had to wait for the guests of honor to arrive before they could leave.
Minutes passed and once more a few shots were fired into the crowd of police cars, making a few men in uniform scatter. The thugs seemed to be getting impatient....
