Ever since my roleplaying group broke up, I've been toying with the idea of a post battle of Ruusan Star Wars group. If you're familiar with d20 in it's many incarnations, including DnD 3 or 3.5, it's not a hard stretch even if you've never played the system before. Now, I don't want to make the big plot too obvious when just starting things out, but I will give a bit of a teaser...

Lord Hoth's great army has defeated the Brotherhood of Darkness on the far distant planet Ruusan, and the Sith empire is dying. It is not, however, dead yet...something that large has a simple inertia that makes it impossible for it to die all at once. In it's death throes, the only question becomes if it will strangle the weakened republic as it dies itself...

Your characters will be ambassadors of the Republic to those worlds that had been a part of the Sith Empire only though fear, trying to push them into active rebellion against the Sith. Your characters will start as 1st level characters and may not start out as Jedi, though they may have the opportunity to train if the correct feats are chosen at character creation.

If anyone's interested, leave a declaration of interest, as well as some basic information about yourself and the character you'd like to play so we can discuss how best to implement them. Hope I get some responses!

Edit: Please be able to type a paragraph or two per response with decent spelling, grammar and punctuation. No one's perfect, but I do intend for this to be more of a role playing game with as little dice as possible instead of an excuse to throw the dice around...

I do hope you'll all forgive me. I've been out of town this past week with my grandfather's memorial service and though I've been checking in periodically on my phone it's not really practical for typing.

Doll, your character sheet looks good. Now we're waiting on more people to get busy and we'll be good.

I'd be interested... are you using the Revised Core Rule Book? or the standard one?

I'm thinking of playing a Zabrak who is a Tech Specialist or a Scout

Revised edition...much as I like some things about first edition, I just can't stand others, so revised it is. And I'm sure the party could use either one of those classes. Look forward to seeing your sheet.
