Age: 35
Height: 5' 11"
Weight: 195 lbs.
Hair: Brown
Eyes: Hazel
Body Type: Athletic.

Ryan had been a rancher all his life. Ever since he was a young boy, he loved helping his folks take care of the cattle. He played football in High School and had offers to go to big schools and have a chance to play for the NFL, but he didn't want to do that. He wanted to marry his high school sweetheart and raise a family on the same ranch he grew up on. And, he did that. He married his wife, Annabelle, after he got his associates degree in business from the community college in El Paso. Since he was an only child, and his parents were getting on in age, They gave the newlyweds the ranch as a wedding present.

Life was good, he and Annabelle had a good life. He and the ranch hands took care of the cattle, and she took care of the house and his three daughters. 10 year old Gwenevere, a red head like her mother; 8 Year old, Lillian, a blond; and 6 year old, Giselle, a brunette. But, life changed, Annabelle was killed in a car crash two years ago. It was hard but Ryan and the kids were getting past their grief.

Various friends of the family were helping talking care of the house and the kids but Ryan knew he needed someone on a permanent basis. So he put an ad in various papers around the country.

Jill slammed the computer shut; Markus smirked at her from across the table. “No luck, poor thing I tried to tell you that.”

“Shut up,” she tossed the newspaper at him, “You look in that one and I’ll look in this one." Her teaching degree was no good if she couldn’t find a job. The school she was at had closed its doors and now she was out of a job, but no other schools were hiring. She’d hardly made any money last year but at least it was something that she loved doing. She could work the phones, but what she loved was teaching.

Opening the paper she scanned it at first and not seeing anything rubbed her eyes and sat back stretching, “Markus you going to work?” She asked her on and off boyfriend, right now, they were on but that could change like the weather. She watched as he grumbled, shot her a dirty look and darted out the door. He was a bartender at a local nightclub, this was his apartment, her lease had to be dropped since she couldn’t afford it anymore. Looking around his apartment was cramped and all she did was clean up after him and his friends.

She looked over the paper slowly when a listing caught her eye. Blue eyes scanned as her lips curled into a smile. Nanny and housekeeper, Texas, and three girls. She was sold even before seeing the money. Opening her computer she clicked on a professional style photo and attached her resume

--EMAIL—
Dear Sir or Madam,

Attached you will find my resume and below my picture. I have a degree in Elementary Education but unfortunately, schools are downsizing so I am no longer needed. A change of scenery might do me good and I am willing to be hired on in a trial basis. I currently live in New York City and am so ready to relocate for this. I have plenty of references available and have attached them as well. I look forward to hearing from you soon and I hope you have a pleasant day!

Sincerely ,
Jillian Marie Drome

Hitting send Jill smiled and set about cleaning the apartment, practice for her possible new job. She turned on the music and began to dance around. Markus was fun, but in bringing up the future he was always sketchy Jillian craved stability, perhaps she’d find her a cowboy to sweep her off her feet.

Ryan's sister in law Taylor was looking over the replies to Ryan's ad. She had saw some very good candidates when she came across Jillian's. She nodded and sent her a reply.

Ms. Drome,

Thank you for your submission please look over the following questions and answer them to the best of your abilities:

Tell me about your childhood and your current relationship with your family.

What kinds of food do you know how to cook?

What is your approach to housekeeping?

Are you comfortable reviewing and assisting with homework?

What do you like to do in your free time?

How do you think your closest friends would describe you and your personality?

Thank You,
Ryan T. Morris

It was the next morning when she checked her email; blurry blue eyes flitted across the message. The questions seemed simple enough, but would have her brain caught in some heavy thinking. The thought provoking questions would have t wait as her stomach won over. Brewing some coffee, she fixed breakfast first. It was her specialty though she had a few other meals she knew how to prepare well enough. She smiled and thought of the questions, after eating the meal she sat with her cup of coffee at the table and began working on her response.

--EMAIL--
Dear Mr. Morris,
Below you will find my answers. Some made me have to seriously stop and think about things. I hope that in your search you find what your family needs, not just, what they think they do. Even if that person is not me, I wish you, and your daughters, the best the world has to offer.

-My Answers-
Tell me about your childhood and your current relationship with your family.
I grew up in a small home with my parents and my older sister (she is the one that took the photo I sent you). It was a quiet neighborhood so a solid upbringing. Church every Sunday and Wednesday. I was a happy child; I loved learning and asking questions. I knew I would be either a teacher or a scientist. I loved reading, still do, and would spend my summers in the library, or somewhere, with my nose buried in a good book. My current relationship is semi close. My sister travels a lot with her photography and my parents moved back to Ohio to be closer to their parents. I visit every major holiday and call every Thursday evening. They also visit me each birthday and sometimes-on vacation.

This means if I take the job, that you will probably meet them. They will be curious and want to visit my new job and make sure it is “safe” for me. As I am sure, you would do the same for any one of your daughters.

What kinds of food do you know how to cook?
Pancakes, eggs, bacon, oatmeal, spaghetti, pasta sauce, meatballs, roasted chicken, most every vegetable, pork chops, various casseroles, pizza, and burgers.

I am sure I am forgetting something but I always prepare well-balanced meals. Meat, bread, vegetable(s) and fruit for dessert, this of course applies to dinner. I remember coming from home and being hungry so I will be sure to fix up something for their arrival home as well.

What is your approach to housekeeping?
I turn on the music and bang it out; I figure that if you make it fun, you can get it done much faster. I am not too good at ironing but everything else I am fine doing. However, I am sure if given a shot I could nail ironing too.

Are you comfortable reviewing and assisting with homework?
With my focus being on education I am very comfortable with this, also if something comes up and tutoring is needed, I’d already be there so no extra cash out of your pocket as long as I would be able to focus on that one child for a little bit. Perhaps on my day off, assuming I get one of course. Perhaps you or your wife could watch the other two while I focus on the other’s schoolwork.

What do you like to do in your free time?
Suffice to say, this was the hardest question for me to answer. I like so many things and sometimes it is based off my mood. I will narrow it to the basics for this. Read, take walks, star gaze, swim, and dance, collect seashells, bake, catch up with friends and family, watch a movie or some TV.

How do you think your closest friends would describe you and your personality?
Everyone I have ever known has always said that I am a genuine thoughtful person. I tend to put myself last in every equation, sometimes this gets me burned and sometimes it doesn’t. My personality is more of a sunny disposition. I try to be happy all the time, even when I am sad I will wear a smile. I like to show my emotions in private. However, I am not afraid to cry or tell someone if they hurt my feelings. I am not usually rash or quick tempered; I like to stew about what my course of action will be. I am a planner, though if I am feeling a bit cooped up I will spur into some spontaneous things.
-
I hope the above gives you some insight on the type of person I am and whether, or not, I am a good fit for your family. I like change and am certain to bring my sunny warmth to your family. I do hope to speak with you about this position.

Thank you for your time,
Jillian M. Drome

Ryan walked into his office that next morning. His sister in law, Taylor, picked the five she liked out of all the responses they received. Then, he had to pick one, and he would extend an invitation to the applicant to visit the ranch. He started to look through them, a lot of them had plenty of experience, and very qualified, then he saw Jillian's resume and her answers to the questions. He really liked the answers to her questions and plus, he loved her picture, she was so strikingly beautiful. He made his decision, he picked up his phone and dialed the number that Jillian had provided.

Once she answered he said, "Hello, Jillian... this is Ryan Morris of the Morris Ranch. You applied to be a nanny/Housekeeper?" He had a slight Texas accent to his voice, and after she replied he continued "Well, we were very impressed by your resume and we would like to extend to you an invitation to visit the ranch so I can have a chance to meet face to face. We'd fly you in, you'd come to the house where you'd meet me and my girls, spend the night with us and fly home the next day. Does that sound good to you?"

Jill had mentioned the job to Markus when he finally decided to come back home, each time he didn’t come home she wondered. Perhaps this job would be best for her, getting her away from Markus. However, when she told him he just shrugged and kept on walking. It caused her great distress. Perhaps he was only putting up a front, she thought. He slept and she went for a run, slipping the ear buds of her IPod in her ears she took off. Things were stressful enough as it was perhaps the run would help clear her head.

She ran five miles and headed home for a shower and something to eat. Jill was tired but her mind felt clear, if the job was offered she was taking it, she needed to get away from Markus. With a smile, she hopped into the shower and washed off the worry. It was still early and with a clean house and a sleeping boyfriend, she curled up on the couch to read a romance novel. That is until her cell phone rang, she scrambled to answer it before it woke Markus up.

“Hello…” She answered not recognizing the number. “Um Yes, this is she… what can I do for you Mr. Morris?” She tried asking without sounding too hopeful. As his words filtered through the phone, she stood and did a little jig. “I think that would be great.” They hashed out the details and she got off the phone and danced around.

Early on the morning of her arrival, she took a cab to the airport Markus didn’t even say goodbye when she left. Now she stood in Texas at the airport, overnight bag on her arm sunglasses covering her blue eyes. She had dressed in a pair of grey linen slacks and paired it with a dark pink tee shirt. She wasn’t sure what to expect, or rather who to expect. Pulling her hair back into a ponytail she smiled at each approaching person.

Saturday Morning, Taylor was standing in baggage claim with a sign that read "Jillian Drome." She was 37, 5' 5", wearing a blue ankle length sundress and sandals. She had her sandy blond hair pulled back in a ponytail. Ryan wanted Taylor to meet Jillian at the airport because he thought if he meet her at the airport, it would defeat the purpose of meeting at the ranch and spending the night.

Taylor scanned the crowd waiting for bags and then saw Jillian and walked up to her, "Jillian? I'm Taylor Stewart. Ryan's sister in law. Welcome to Texas, I hope you had a good flight." She extended a hand to the Blond.

Jillian was approached by a woman a little older than she was and she smiled. The sign said her name and she smiled wider. “Yes, Hi nice to meet you. Thank you I’m so glad to be hear. My flight was good, I don’t like flying but it was fine.” She took the woman’s hand and pumped it a few time.

Following the woman to a vehicle, she placed her bag in the back and climbed in the passenger’s seat. “I’m really excited about meeting Mr. Morris and the girls. I really hope they like me. Um, when I get there will I have time to freshen up?” Her hands slid down her linen slacks. it was warmer than she thought it would be, the sun was hot.

"Sure, you'll have time to freshen up," Taylor as she got in, "Ryan and the girls had a camp out last night so they won't be home yet." Taylor started the trip to the Morris Ranch, "We've got a two hour drive ahead of us. If you need to take a nap, feel free. If you don't need a nap, I can maybe answer some questions that you might want answered."

Jillian smiled at the woman, “A nap would be heavenly, I didn’t sleep really well. The flight was good, but I couldn’t sleep on the plane.” She smiled again, “I really don’t have any questions, I think it will all fall into place when I meet the girls and Mr. Morris. I really feel this is…” She yawned, “I’m terribly sorry.” She gave a weak smile, “I feel this is where I am meant to be, the timing and everything is just falling into place. I have a boyfriend back home, but well it’s not heading to where it should be, I’m 26 I need to start settling down and think of MY future, I don’t see it including Markus and well I’m not terribly upset.” Jill continued to smile, in fact it seemed, that the smile, could not be wiped off her face. She was tired but she felt at ease and that allowed her to talk. “Taylor is there a Mrs. Ryan Morris. I mentioned something about a wife but he never spoke of it. Does she work? Or is it a recent divorce or even worse,” she swallowed hard around the building lump in her throat. “Is she no longer with us?” Her blue eyes met the woman’s gaze briefly, as she waited for a response of some sort.

Taylor smiled as she listened to Jillian talk. She hadn't know her for very long. But from her resume and the answers to the question, she was starting to like her. "Well, this is a great place for fresh starts, I really hope you like it here. From the answers to your questions, I think you going to fit into our family quite well..." When she started to ask about a Mrs. Ryan Morris, she shifted in her seat a little "No...There isn't a Mrs. Ryan Morris... We lost Annabelle about two years ago. She was my baby sister."

“Oh Taylor, I am so so very sorry. I had no clue and I didn’t mean for that to seem as insensitive as it seemed.” Jill shook her head and gasped as she thought of something, “Those poor little girls, I’ll have to work hard to help them adjust to me. Do you think they will be angry? I know I’ll have to let them know that I am not replacing their Mommy and that isn’t what I am here for…” she knew if it happened it happened but she wasn’t here for that in any way. “Mr. Morris …” she trailed off, she couldn’t even imagining losing a spouse. Silently she wiped the tears away that had started to form and fell silent. The family she was coming into needed her she could feel it. It wasn’t long after this that Jillian drifted off to sleep, it seemed as though she had only slept for about five minutes before the vehicle stopping awoke her.

Smiling she stretched, the little cat nap did her some good, “I didn’t mean to fall asleep on you, I’m sorry.” Stepping out of the vehicle, she helped retrieve her bag and carrying it over her shoulder she stepped onto the wide porch. She could imagine lounging on the porch after dinner watching the stars come up in the sky, in summer with glasses of lemonade and in the fall with cocoa. The fenced land around them seemed to go on forever. Taking a deep breath of air, she could smell the farm fresh air and chuckled. “A camping trip, is that something they enjoy often? I don’t think I have ever been..”

"Oh, no you weren't being insensitive," said Taylor, "You didn't know. And you don't have to worry about the girls. Ryan and I told them that the new Nanny was going to help him take care of the house and the girls." Taylor smiled as she noticed that Jillian fell asleep.

When they got to the house, Jillian woke up, Taylor smiled, "That's all right..." She escorted Jillian inside, "Oh, they go every so often. Would you like me to show you to your room so you can freshen up? You have your own private bathroom"

"I would love for you to show me my room, thank you." As they walked to the room Jill smiled and asked, "Would I be required to go camping, I don't mind..” she smiled softly at Taylor. She liked the way she’d called it her room. Pushing the door open to a white room, the winter white furnishings were off set with chocolate and blue accents. There was a bed, dresser, desk, reading nook with bookcase and lamp. Fresh blue flowers popped out from a brown vase on the corner of the desk. She smiled and turned to Taylor. “It is perfect, thank you. How much time do I have and are we doing something to where I need to wear something special?” She received her answer and assured Taylor she would be fine before closing her door.

She closed the curtains and flipped on the lights before stripping down and stepping under the warm spray of the shower. She lathered her hair and body, rinsed thoroughly and stood letting the water run down her body. Their mother was dead; she couldn’t imagine losing her own mother. She felt drawn here to this family and hadn’t even met them yet. Stepping from the shower, she dried off and began fixing up for the families arrival. She couldn’t help the excitement that coursed through her veins while she blew her hair dry and smoothed lotion all over her tan skin before stepping into a spaghetti strapped green summer dress. Sliding her feet into brown leather sandals she sat on the porch with her book to wait for the Morris family.

Taylor smiled as Jill looked over he room. "You have about 30 minutes and you don't have to wear anything special." Taylor and Jill were sitting on the porch waiting for Ryan and the girls to come back. Soon a blue Jeep was coming down the road from the opposite direction that Taylor and Jill used to come up to the house. A man in his mid thirties got out from the drivers seat. The girls ran out of the back and up to their Aunt Taylor. The man walked up to Jill. He was wearing a denim button up shirt, blue jeans, hiking boots and a cowboy hat. He took off his hat and extended his hand for her to shake, "I'm Ryan Morris, welcome to my home. Allow me to introduce my daughters, Girls come here and met the young lady who wants to be your nanny."

The girls walked over to Ryan, and he pointed at the red head, "This is Gwenevere, we call her Gwen, she's 10..."

"Hi," said Gwen, with a smile, She was wearing a white Demi Lovato tour t-shirt, jeans, and sneakers.

Ryan pointed at the blond, "This is Lillian, we call her Lilly, she's 8." said Ryan.

"Hello," said Lilly, smileing. She was wearing a Dallas Cowboys t-shirt, Jeans and sneaker.

"And this one hanging onto my leg, is Giselle, she's 6." said Ryan, Giselle just smiled at Jill, "She's a little shy around new people." She was wearing pink Disney princess t-shirt, Jeans and sneakers.

Jillian’s face lit up when she saw the car approaching, the excitement was in the air. Her eyes fell to the three girls running to hug the woman next to her. Jill turned her eyes to the man that approached; he was handsome, tall and broad with sharp eyes that seemed to see right into her soul. A true gentleman removed their hat and he did, if possible her smile widened. As she grasped his hand for a shake, she found herself blushing a bit as their arms pumped.

Nodding her attention turned from his hazel eyes to the red headed girl, “Hello Gwen.” She said with a warm smile. Smiling at the blonde girl she laughed, “Hello, our names rhyme how fun is that?” She laughed, and turned her head to the littlest one on his leg, “I thought Giselle’s were like deer and not monkeys.” She teased lightly they were delightful. “I think we’ll get along fine us four.” She smiled up at Ryan, “Did you want to go somewhere and talk you and I, Mr. Morris?”

She was referring about job related things and nothing else, though to hear her one couldn’t be sure. Jill felt nervous. Butterflies rising up in the pit of her stomach as she waited for a response. Nervously she ran her hands over her green dress, smoothing out invisible wrinkles. She wanted to make a good impression.

Ryan watched Jillian interacting with the girls and smiled. His girls were good judges of character and he could tell that they really liked her. When Jillian asked if he wanted to talk with her in private he said, "Yes, if you'll follow me, we'll go to my office and talk." They headed in the house and walked to his office, "After we finished talking I was thinking the girls could show you around the house, and if you were up for it maybe you could show us some of your cooking skills for dinner. Sound good?" They went in his office and sat down.

"So... you pretty much answered any questions I had in your response to our email. So, do you have any questions for me?"

She followed him and tried not to stare at his ass as they went. Looking back over her shoulder, she smiled at the girls. Jillian smiled and sat across from him crossing her legs and adjusting her dress so the amount of leg being shown was appropriate. “I’d love a tour and certainly don’t mind making dinner. Can the girls help?” She smiled as he sat across from her at is desk after closing the door.

“Their schedule, I imagine they are in sports or some sort of extracurricular activities, play dates, birthday parties. Is it already put down on a calendar or should I do that? Do they have chores and I guess I will need to know their routines? Um, like nightly, weekend and morning.” She smiled, “Well I guess if I am hired on then I will find out those things. I am just excited, sorry.” Lifting her hand, she tucked her hair behind her ear. “So I don’t really have any questions it seems.” She smiled up into his handsome face. She heard giggling in the hall, “I think your next appointment has arrived Mr. Morris, would you like for me to let them in?”

Ryan smiled as he watched Jill sit down. "Sure the girls can help," He said when she asked if they could help with dinner. He smiled as she listed off all the things she wanted to know about. But, then decided that she didn't really need to know any of it. He smiled, "That's all right..." He heard the girls giggling. "Sure show them in..." The girls and Taylor came in and Ryan said, "Hey, girls, Would you like to show Jill around the house?"

"Sure! Come on, Jill!" Said Gwen and Lilly as dashed out of the room with Jill following behind. Giselle, on the other hand was, hanging on Taylor's leg. Giselle saw her sisters and Jill together. Jilll seemed nice, the way she acted reminded her of her mommy. She walked over and took Jill's hand and walked with her while Gwen and Lilly showed Astrid the kitchen, then the Dinning room that could be accessed from the kitchen and the hallway. Then, the the laundry room and the living room.

Gwen and Lilly took Jill upstairs. Giselle was still holding on to Jill's hand. First there was Gwen's room, it was pink with and had posters of Miley Cyrus, Hannah Montana, and the Jonas Brothers on the wall. Next was, Lilly's it was purple and she had sports team posters and horse posters on the wall. Between, Gwen's and Lilly's rooms was the upstairs bathroom. Then, there was Giselle's room. It was yellow and had Disney Princess pictures and posters on the wall. There were also several dolls around the room. But, one doll seemed to have a place of honor on Giselle's bed.

The Young girl released her new friend's hand and went over to the bed and picked the doll up and showed it to Jill. The doll had long red hair and a white wedding dress. "She has the same name as me," said Giselle. And, Giselle was right, it was a Princess Giselle doll from the Disney movie, Enchanted. In fact, Giselle had a big Enchanted movie poster in her room.

She smiled and laughed a bit as she opened the door to the girls and Taylor. Ryan seemed to understand her excitement and she was glad for that. The quick exchange left her to follow the two older girls, she thought sure the adults were behind her with Giselle. Her heart melted as the little ones hand slid into her own; turning over her shoulder, she gave Taylor and Ryan a smile before ducking out of sight to receive her tour.

Kitchen, dining room, living room and laundry area all were standard. Upstairs the differences were obvious as to whose room was which. Each girl, like looks, had varying differences in styles and likes. Jill smiled and glanced around each room. The rooms were clean though she noticed that Lillian had her closet stuffed full of things. Jillian smiled, She wasn’t sure if the other two were behind her when Giselle led her to her room or not.

Her blue eyes grew soft, “You are right, she does.” Thin fingers slid over the dolls red locks as she bent to the girl’s level. “I love that movie, if I come stay with you I promise we will curl up and watch it, maybe even sing along.” Jill was a lover of Disney movies and musicals, the movie had captured her heart as well as many others. “Would you like to show me around outside with your sister’s?” She asked softly. "You run on a head I’ll be out in just a moment."

She found Ryan sitting behind his desk looking things over. “Mr. Morris, I would be honored to come work with you, for your girls. They are sweet kind and considerate, as well as well-mannered and intelligent. I’m sure I will fit in nicely with your family if you will allow me.” She wiped her eyes dry of the tears she’d shed behind Giselle’s back and went to receive her tour of outside.

A little while later giggles and clatters could be heard coming from the kitchen as the quartet worked. Jill laughed as flour scattered over the surface of the counter. She reassured it was right and rolled out the pizza dough on the surface. “See, just like that.” They made three pizzas and another of breadsticks. She put Gwen to work mixing the vegetables she’d found into a salad. The other two made a pizza for the kids which Gwen made sure to have a say in it. Jillian made the breadsticks and adult pizza mixing a variety of meats and veggies. They baked the pizzas and worked on the one for dessert.

Together they set the table, while the pizza’s cooled and the desert pizza chilled. Bringing the food out they washed up and called everyone in for dinner. Jill sat next to Giselle and across from Jillian and promised to rotate her seat so they all would get a chance to sit with her. Jill wasn’t sure if Taylor was still there or not, she assumed she had a family she needed to attend to as well.

When Jill walked out of the office. Gwen and Lilly wanted to show Jill their horses. They took Jill and Giselle out the back door, past the laundry room, and down the porch steps. They walked down a short path and reached the stable. "Daddy and his workers keep their horses in here, too." said Gwen. They walked past a few stalls of horses until they reached one with a horse with a white-gray coat, a stall with a horse with a golden coat, and an empty stall

Gwen pointed to the golden horse, "this is my horse, Sunstar."

Then Lilly pointed to the gray horse, "This is Moondance, he's my horse. Giselle doesn't have a horse yet." She pointed to an empty stall, "but that's were it's going to go after she learns to ride next year."

While Jill and the Girls were outside Taylor and Ryan were talking in his office. "So what do you think?" asked Ryan.

"I think she's perfect," said Taylor, "If Annabelle was hear she'd pick her..."

"That's what I was thinking too," Ryan smiled, "I'll let her know tonight after dinner."

"Speaking of which, I better get to my house... See ya..." She gave her brother in law a friendly hug and kiss on the check. He returned the hug and kiss, went back to work.

A short time later, Ryan walked out of the office and smelt pizza cooking... He walked into the kitchen... "mmm Smells good..."

Laughing Jillian smiled up at him. “We agreed on pizza, I hope its okay.” From the smile on his face, she assumed it was. The girls had pepperoni pizza with pineapple, onions, tomatoes and extra cheese. She laughed at the contents but as long as they ate, she didn’t see a problem. For herself and Ryan she made a pepperoni pizza with some of each veggie in the fridge and extra cheese. Pulling a piece for each, she added a serving of salad and a breadstick before passing the plates around.

She smiled at Ryan, “I wasn’t sure what you liked, I’ll learn. This is just a small taste of my abilities.” She sat next to Giselle who had pulled the toppings off her pizza and was eating it in layers. The little girl was adorable. Looking across the table Lilly was eating her pizza backwards –crust first- and it made her laugh since Gwen was eating her with a knife and fork. Jill shook her head, lifted the slice to her lips and took a bite. Blue eyes rolled back in her head it was one of her best attempts.

The girls chatted and told her about school and all their friends, even Giselle who had taken a liking to her. Jillian wasn’t sure how she’d leave he three little ones. If Ryan had asked her to stay, she would send for her things. Markus hadn’t even called once to find out how things were. She knew she would be breaking things off once she made the trip back to New York. Dinner ended with dessert pizza. the girls had made it special with fruit and chocolate chips, Jillian now added dollops of whipped cream before passing them to each person at the table. Once done the girls raced to toss their dishes in the sink.

Smiling at Ryan again, she shook her head, “I’ll put those in the dish washer and help with bath time. At least that is what Gwen old me comes after dinner. If you ever vary from the routine do you do a special movie or trip outside to watch the stars?” Jillian knew if she had her choice that would be just what she would do. She would allow each girl to bathe while the other two played in their rooms. She would learn the routine and see if there were any wiggle room.

Ryan was amazed at how well Jillian just fit right into the family. Like Annabelle had hand picked her to take her place. Plus she was a fantastic cook. Even though it was just pizza. When she asked about routine, he said, "Yeah... some nights when the girls don't have school then next day we'll go outside and have a bonfire. Generally Saturday night is movie night, after baths the girls get in their PJ and we watch a movie. The girls alternate weeks, tonight is Giselle's Night. Friday Night is Family Game Night. But normally, after dinner, they either play in their rooms, do homework or watch TV. Bedtime is at 9. After the girls go to bed... We need to talk about your future here..." He smiled and headed upstairs to his own room to shower and change clothes.

“That explains the cabinet of marshmallows,” she giggled. “Ok, sounds good to me.” She watched him walk upstairs before breaking into a little jig. Loading the dishwasher she ran upstairs to help Giselle, the other two let her know they were fine to do it on their own. Bathing her allowed her a chance to see all of them interact on their own. Gwen pulled a book from her shelf and red quietly while Lilly pulled down some sort of blocks and built. Giselle didn’t want to leave the tub, but the reminder that it was her night to pick the movie made her smile and hop out.

Seeing Ryan was able to watch the girls, Jill excused herself to get ready as well. She’d showered earlier so she washed her face carefully and spot checked her hair for any flour. Finding none, she brushed it well and pulled it up into a pony tail. Slipping into pajama pants and a tank, she made her way to the kitchen. She’d seen some popcorn and decided it wasn’t such a bad snack. Gathering supplies she smiled as giggling alerted her to the girls heading her way. Smiling as they filtered in she pointed to the paper bags and wiggled her eyebrows at them, “I hope you like cheesy popcorn.”

Sprinkling a bit of parmesan cheese on the freshly popped corn she placed a couple handfuls into each paper bags and placed them in a bowl and then she made a cinnamon type as well. She put Gwen in charge of the cheese type and Lilly in charge of the cinnamon. Giselle she lifted onto her hip and helped her pick out the movie, “You can help with the popcorn next time.” She dropped the girls off to the living room and rushed to clean up the bit of mess she’d made in the kitchen.

Moving back to the living room she stretched out jokingly placing her legs across the girl’s laps. “MMM so comfy you don’t mind if I watch the movie like this do you.” She moved her legs and sat smiling watching as the credits rolled, “I hope you didn’t pick a scary movie, I might get nightmares.” she whispered teasingly into Giselle’s ear.

Ryan showered and put on a Texas Longhorns T-shirt and a pair of blue pajama pants. He smelt popcorn popping and entered the living room when Jill playfully put her legs across the girls laps. He sat down, grabbed a bag of popcorn and sat down on the other side of the couch from Jill with the girls sitting between them. Ryan smiled when the opening credits to Enchanted started.

107 minutes later, the movie was over. He looked at the clock, "All right, Girls... Time for bed.. Say good night to Jill and I'll be up to tuck you three in a bit..." All three girls hugged and said good night to Jill before they headed upstairs. Ryan helped Jill pick up the empty popcorn bags. "Jill, I think I've seen enough. I fit in so well with our family. So, I would like to offer you the job as the our Nanny and Housekeeper. Of course I'm going to ask the girls what they think and I'm pretty sure it will be a unanimous vote."
