Richard Blackwood had all any normal man could possibly hope to have. As a young boy, he had always been bright and clever, more so then most boys his age. He absorbed knowledge like a sponge, reading books well beyond his reading level in grade school. His parents were proud, but often too busy fighting with one another to really acknowledge his accomplishments. Only his younger twins really seemed to pay any attention to him, and though he appreciated the effort on their part, it wasn't enough to make him feel at home. When he finished High School, Richard took the opportunity to move out of his house and make a home for his own. It was a humble start to what would become a larger empire, all starting in a simple apartment.
As soon as he was situated, Richard starting doing business in trading. He didn't specialize in one particular good or item, but rather, a large selection of things. Many thought it risky of him to try this at such a young age, but the young lad was smart enough to make it work. He was full of energy as he directed his small company, starting from nothing to create something. First, it was just him....then a handful of employees. Then more needed to be hired, he had to expand. Before he knew it, the company had grown very large, and he had a LOT of money. He was content just working, seeing his success take off....as well as his profits.
After a few years, Richard decided to "retire" with his fortune, a part of his company earnings still deposited into his bank accounts. He started to enjoy life more; he went to parties, sports events, had the finest mansion built, and obtained a taste for the finer things. Yet, as time went by, he felt he was missing something. A part of him felt unfulfilled, empty inside. He didn't quite know what it was, couldn't place his finger on it. What was more, he couldn't seem to find the one woman that he could settle down with, disappointed in all of them.
It was at this time he received a call from his mother, to whom he had been sending money to every now and then, hearing that she had divorced his father, and the twins were asking to move in with him instead of staying with either one of them. While he didn't really feel too sorry over the divorce, he remembered his younger sisters, and agreed to let them stay with him. He had no idea just how impacting this would be on his life.....
Richard stepped out of his bedroom, dressed and ready to receive his sisters at any moment. Despite the fact that he was rich and had a rather nice house, Richard was more about comfort then flair with his clothing. A simple white T-Shirt, a pair of jeans, and sneakers were all he needed to relax in the comfort of his own home (when he felt like clothes.) That luxury, he thought, might vanish soon. He had long, raven black hair tied into a pony tail, and was clean shaven. His green emerald eyes looked ahead with a piercing, steely gaze, and he was well fit. He walked to the family room, where no doubt he would soon welcome his sisters to his home.
