Welcome. I studied French in school for like forever. Started in 4th grade and studied all the way through 12th grade. I even tested out of the language requirement in college because I'd become so good at it at that time. Lack of practice has made me rusty in the listening and writing departments. But reading-wise, I'm pretty good. Though, when I watch French films, usually about half way through I barely need to use the subtitles. Pity I didn't keep the practicing up just to have an additional language to speak besides English.
