Basically, I'm the valiant knight who sees the winsome damsel in distress. About to be eaten by the horrible troll.
I save the day, but don't know she is actually a dragoness who took that form to attract prey.
But I am so sweet and offer to get her dinner, so she forgoes killing me, and comes to appreciate her little knight.
By day he watches over her and courts her.
By night, she 'takes a turn at watch', supposedly to wake him if anything approaches, but more likely gobbling up anything in sight.
Woe betide the monster who thinks to bother her sweet little knight's repose.
But he is occasionally awakened by a large burp.
How and when he finds out and whether they fall in love remains to be seen.
Here is the thread I started. It can be changed if needed.
