For one, dancing could be everything. It was a way of life, the way she breathed, the way she moved, the way she did anything. Without it, she slipped back into the background with no identity, classified as just another girl with no meaning. Without it, she had nothing. With it, she had everything. Recognition, standing, and she was known; sometimes in school, it was necessary. Thankfully, she did love it, more than she loved to breathe. It was like one of those times where she had learned to dance before she could learn to walk. It was her life. However, sometimes that could be the true problem. Only in time.
That day, after getting dressed for her early morning practice, Llewellyn left her dorm and she hurried over to the dance studio. She was wearing a black leotard with white tights underneath and she already had her point shoes on. Her hair was tied up in a messy bun and she was running from the sophomore girls dorms to the other side of campus to the performing arts center. In that one building were the complete arts that the school was actually well known for. It was nearly six A.M and she was starting this new practice regime where at that time, she'd be in the dance studio, having a private one on one session with her dance teacher. She had fallen sick earlier in the year, badly sick and it made her miss a lot. She was able to easily catch up on her other school assignments but her dancing, she had a bigger problem with catching up. Thankfully, she had this opportunity and she was not going to blow it.
It was the first day of these practices. Finally arriving, she opened the door and panted a little bit, shutting it behind her. Thankfully, she didn't seem to be late. Going to a corner, she put her things down and then started to warm up.
