Kail groaned as he heard his friends nagging him about finding a girlfriend so that he would lighten up while he whooped some ass at mortal kombat at the arcade. "married men live shorter lives than single men." he said as they both looked at each other and dragged him out of the arcade, saying they had gotten their girlfriends to set up a blind date for him. The 19 year old timberwolf blinked and struggled as he tried to break free. "are you nuts? A blind date? Dude you know how chicks think, inner beauty and that sort of thing. The girl they picked is probably some homely looking fat chick who doesn't normally stand out." he said to them as he managed to get one arm free and tried to escape before they could drag him any further. "dude running is pointless, we're here already." as his friend said that Kail tripped and landed on his face. "dammit."

(bold text was the friend talking just to clarify)

Kira had decided to meet up with her friends willingly. She had wanted to just stay home really, but she knew how they could get. If they wanted her to hang with them when she planned on staying home, they would literally drag her out of the house.

"Where exactly are we going?" she then asked as she followed her two friends.

"You'll know when we get there." One of the girls said as they continued walking.

It wasn't long until the two in front of Kira spotted the boys in the assigned meeting spot. One smiled and went on ahead while the other brought Kira along.
Kira honestly had no idea why she bothered to go along with this, 'blnd date'. Her friends have done it once before and the guy they chose had turned out to be a complete jerk. So she really had her doubts about this one.

Kail sighed as he stood up and brushed himself off, wiping some of the sidewalk gravel off his face. He gave a quick wince of pain as he did and turned around. "just say so before you let me go so I don't do that again." he gave one of his friends a quick punch to the arm before turning to see the girls arriving. He knew both their girlfriends already, having been an unfortunate fifth wheel half the time, so he figured the other girl was his date. However when they got closer he blinked and looked at the girl, noticing she was kinda cute, the way her hair was styled, the slight curves of her body that made her look cuter, and when he looked at her face to see how her overall cuteness or beauty was he stopped and blinked. Was it the eyes, the nose, the slight angle of her cheeks or jaw, he then blinked and couldn't understand why she looked familiar somehow.

Kira couldn't deny, or hide, the fact that she was nervous about this. She was having second thoughts about coming, she suddenly didn't feel like she waa ready for this.
But there was no backing out now. She was already here.

Letting her tail wrap around her waist, she did her best to hide her nervousness. She knew who her friends boyfriends were and so it wasn't hard for her to know which of the three guys was her date.

Kira was always the shy type, and she looked down a bit. She hadn't actually expected this one to be cute. But even in the short moment of looking at him before she had lowered her gaze, there was something strangely familiar about him.

Kail blinked and smiled a bit at seeing her shy reaction. While he still couldn't place his finger on the familiarity of the girl, he did find her shyness very cute. He moved over and smiled, holding out his hand to her. "My name's Kail. It's nice to meet you." he said with a friendly tone.

As he moved closer to her and she would look up a little, both their friends blinked and froze. Being From a third person perspective they could easily see why the two would think they looked familiar. As they stood near each other, the friends could see that both Kira and Kail looked really similar, almost identical. "Dude, you two could be twins." Kail's friends said jokingly.

When his friend mentioned that kail blinked and thought for a bit, then his eyes widened when he realized he was right how they looked similar but laughed it off. "Yeah right man. You both know I already have a twin brother, granted fraternal but we were still born at the same time." he said with a laugh as he looked back at Kira.

Kira noticed him walk up to her. She looked at his hand when he held it out to her and introduced himself. A bit hesitant, she still shook his hand but only for a second. "I'm Kira." she said softly.

When she heard Kail's friends words, she just noticed how similar they looked as well. She didn't believe there could be any chance of it though, and so didn't really pay much mind to it.

He chuckled softly at her shyness and thought for a bit. "hmm, well since they dragged us both out here you wanna grab something to eat?" he said, looking at kira. "I know a pretty decent lunch place that's nearby." He waited for her response and leaned a little closer and whispered. "Or we can find a way to get back at our friends for dragging us to blind dates against our will half the time."

Kira watched him for a moment and listened to what he had to say. She wasn't really sure about getting back at her friends. They meant well, and he was cute. So, she wouldn't mind actually giving this a try. Besides, if it actually works out, she wouldn't be dragged into another blind date.

With a smile she shook her head at that suggestion. "I think going out to eat would be just fine."

Kail smiled and nodded. He had actually given her a little test there. He was never a fan of the petty revenge types and probably would have ended the date sometime soon if she had said yes. "alright well it's just a few blocks from here if you don't mind walking a little." he smiled and held out his arm for her to take if she wanted. While he was a bit of a goofball at times, he could still act somewhat like a gentleman.

Kira nodded lightly. She didn't mind walkingg with him. She was also glad that her friends wouldn't be coming along for this, which meant she wouldn't have to worry about them at all. She'll be able to relax and just enjoy the date.
That thought made her smile a little.

Kira then brought her attention back to Kail when he held his hand out to her. She gladly took it to walk with him. "Alright."

He smiled as she took his hand as he lead her away from the other pairs, who had already begun walking in their own directions to have their own dates. As he led her down the streets he cast a quick glance at her, again noting how they looked a little similar but pushed the thought away. "so what kind of music you listen to?" he said. He knew it was a generic question but he wanted to break the ice somehow.

Kira walked with him, quickly liking the way his hand felt when she held it. His fur was so soft.
She soon thought for a moment when he asked his question. It wasn't long until she answered. "Any kind really." she said. She didn't really listen to music all that much though to begin with. So she didn't have much of a preference. "What about you?" she then asked.

He smiled and chuckled as he listened to her answer. "well I pretty much listen to just about anything except those really peppy pop songs. That and idiotic little twits who cash in on a preteen fanbase just to keep their popularity up." (in case you didn't understand the reference I HATE JUSTIN BEIBER. lol) "but yeah just about Anything I'll listen to." he smiled and stopped. "well here we are." he said as he had stopped them in front of a fancy looking diner.

Kira smiled a bit at the answer he gave her. "That's pretty cool." she said before noticing he had stopped. She looked at the place they arrived at. It looked quite fancy. "I've never been to this diner before.." she soon said. She's heard of it a few times but, never actually came to it.

He smiled as she said she had never come to the diner before. "Alright then, well dont worry, it's not that complicated a place that first timers have trouble figuring out what to order. the meals are pretty self explanatory." he said with a chuckle as he led her inside. When they got in he smiled and gave the host his name and that it was a table for two. After a few minutes wait while he figured out where they would be sat he brought them over to a table by the large fireplace inside the building, the table also having a good view of one of the windows as well.
