Stealing from the Sultan's Haram, Not Such a Good Idea

Jolana had studied the Sultan’s Harem for more than a week. A slim girl only 5’5” tall who weighed 110 pounds, she had Auburn hair, hazel eyes, a confident lilt to her expression. Hired to steal the fabled Wizard of Lyr’s Book of Erotic Transformation from the Sultan’s harem, she had every confidence that she would easily manage the feet. Now she must answer the question of how a pretty, attractive nineteen year old female thief would get into the Sultan’s harem.

Briefly, she had considered being sold as a slave and escorted within, but she had quickly dismissed that idea. Jolana had no intention of becoming a slave to anyone even for the briefest of times. Her second idea was a bit more exotic, but she thought it would work neatly. She had purchased an azure invisibility potion (okay, she had stolen the potion) from an old mage six months ago. And she intended to use it to simply slip over the wall of the harem at night, sneak past the guards and be out with the book before anyone new she was around.

Mistress Marie had been the sultan's Wizard and the mistress in charge of his brothel for longer than anyone knew. Her raven hair, slim figure and pale skin marked her as a foriegner and as one of the most beautiful women in the kingdom. But it was her eyes, those.... lilac eyes that drew men and women both in and made them want, no, need her praise and pleasure. Many believed she was a demon in disguise who had poisoned the Sultan's mind into doing whatever she wanted. Oh if they knew how wrong, yet how right they were....

The harem had fifty visible guards surrounding its walls. Worse, in order to even approach the harem grounds, Jolana would need first to steal into the palace and through the chambers of the Sultan’s personal guard. Only someone insanely brave would have dared attempt such a fate. But Jolana had been born with a strong inner confidence in her own abilities and a desire to rise above the poverty stricken childhood she had known on the farm back in the green lands of Eire from which she came.

If she succeeded in stealing this book, the monies she received would be sufficient to buy back her family’s farm and ensure that her brothers and sisters would never know hunger again. She knew the Sultan was a cruel, sadistic man who had conquered many lands in addition to her own native Eire. He had a reputation for sending the husband of any woman he admired to his death in war so that he might claim the widow for his own pleasure. No, Jolana had no guilt within her at the idea of robbing the evil Sultan. On the other hand, she was very cautious about stealing from the mage, a mysterious figure of immense power.

When night fell, she dressed in a full-length black dress. It didn’t really matter what she wore as her invisibility potion would ensure no one saw her. But she didn’t entirely trust it. So she planned to move quietly and with stealth. It took her nearly an hour to slip past the palace guards. One into the harem yard proper, she saw the many guards lining its walls. But it was the black hounds with their glowing red eyes that made her nervous. It wouldn’t matter that she was invisible if they caught her scent.

She began to edge along the wall seeing to avoid detection. Soon, she reached the point in the wall that she intended to scale. It was but a moment for her trained fingers to climb the wall and then her slender frame dropped lightly to the grassy floor below. She had done it; she now lay within the garden of the harem itself. She was inside. Her eyes scanned the garden to see if there was any creature that might sense her invisible form.

Marie was still in her study as she felt the presence of an intruder from her alarm spells. "Hn...." She growled as she stood up and went out to the garden. "This better be good." She put on her black lace robe over her corset dress and thigh high stockings. She wrapped a black gloved hand around the handle of the door to the garden and activated her Lilith eyes to scan for the intruder.

Jolana froze quietly in the shadows cast by an orange tree in blossom. The night air smelled beautiful and looking up, she saw the full white face of the moon. It was the kind of magical night where anything could happen. But nonetheless, despite the beauty of her surroundings, the slim girl felt a foreboding frisson shiver its way down her spine, before pausing in the pit of her stomach. Carefully, she crouched down, making herself as small a target as possible.

One of her hands then crept into her pocket and she eased out a packet of blinding powder. Trained as a thief in the guild halls of her red-headed uncle, she had the ability to remain silent for hours at a time. Ah, Jolana thought to herself.

She had spotted standing there quietly looking out into the garden a preternaturally stunning woman. The woman was tall, surely six feet tall, and impossibly slender. She stood in a pool of lamp light and even from this distance, Jolana had to catch her breath at the woman’s beauty. If this were the sort of woman who inhabited the Sultan’s harem, he was a very lucky man indeed.
She waited as the woman searched the garden. It was too dark where Jolana crouched for her to be seen, but nevertheless, she felt nervous. It was almost as if this stranger could see her.

"I know you are here!" Marie shouted into the darkness as she looked over to where she sensed the intruder. "Show yourself or else!"

Marie sighed and began to summon her magicks. "Light the darkness...." Her hands glowed azure and she shot a bolt of magic into the lamp to make it shine brighter.

Jolana's eye widened as she watched the tall, slender woman's hands move. Magic of this sort, she knew meant the possibility of exposure. But even if the woman could pierce her magical invisibility, Jolana would still be hidden behind the tree within the shadows. She glanced over her shoulder and judged whether she might escape back over the wall.

As if by magic, Marie appeared behind the girl, clamping a hand over her mouth. A wicked smirk formed on her lips as she pulled the girl out of invisibility. "Well, well, well, Seems I've caught a new recruit for his majesty's harem," She murred softly into the young thiefs ear, "now why would you be so shy and hide from me." Her other hand ran over the girls body, inspecting every inch and curve before stopping at her tits.

Jolana's heart leaped with terror as she was trapped by the powerful sorceress. For she thought of this woman as a sorceress. No other could have so easily spotted Jolana, piercing both her invisibility and natural skill at evading detection. "Oh please miss," she said in a childishly soft voice, a voice intended to appeal to the kinder of emotions, "I am but a young girl who was curious about what lay behind these walls. I ask only to be allowed to slip back home with no one being the wiser." She hoped this woman would feel sympathy and not turn her over to the Sultan.

"Hm....." Marie put on a mock thinking face, "No." She smirked as she gripped her breast in her hand hard. "You trespassed on royal property and now you must pay the price."

Jolana whimpered and tears welled up and glistened like polished games on her long lashes. "Oh please, I'll do anything if you don't hand me over to the Sultan," she said. "I'm very talented. I slipped in here after all. Maybe you need a skilled thief. "Oh give me a chance." Her heart pounded in her chest with fear as she desperately tried to convince this powerful woman of her sincerity.
