IC Description and Rules.
200 hundred years. That's how long its been since the nuclear apocalypse happened. It is now the year 2277. Those who survived either live in the safe haven known as Vault, where some of the occupants are born and never know what the outside of truly looks like. Some survivors roam about the dead waste valley of Washington D.C or gather together and rebuild a new home consisting of scrap metal and parts found all over the wastes. One should always be careful. Out there in the Capital Wasteland, creatures who have suffered radiation changes will be a threat to you, but if not them, then perhaps the Raiders or Super Human Mutants. A living being could never be to careful. One could never trust a person so easily, for someone can either be your friend, your enemy or something else entirely. Will you let this world be your downfall and take your life in order to escape the insanity you have just stepped foot on or will you gather your courage and help rebuild this Capital Wasteland back to what it once was 200 hundred years ago? Can you defend yourself while trying to to battle away humans, mutants, ghouls and even radioactive born creatures?
In these wastes, survival is everything. You must survive in order to thrive, to live on, to grow and prosper. There are no rules in the Wasteland, but what if someone or should we say, two woman have decided to change that. To take a firm hold of the Wasteland, throwing president Eden and his army down to the ground as well as the Brotherhood of Steel. These woman of Paradise Falls mean business and if anyone decides to go against them, expect a bullet between your eyes, for no one can be a match against their means of power. Unless you have brass balls, then feel free to give them a piece of your mind.
1- Here in the Capital Wasteland, everything must be respected or else you'll find yourself at the end of a barrel or between sharp fangs.
2- Death isn't always the answer to a solution, but if you find yourself being attacked by Mole Rats or Ghouls, then kill away, but be forewarned. Ghouls are always the easiest beings to kill and before you decide to kill them, see if they mean a threat to you. Not all ghouls are evil you know.
3- If you enter a home, please, don't steal anything. Courtesy and respect remember. If an occupant lives there, don't take their things. You wouldn't want someone stealing your Laser Riffle or Stampaks. If the home is abandoned and run downed, then please, by all means, go on and rob to your merry content. One must gather enough things to survive this horrid place.
4- Life is very precious here in the Capital Wasteland. So please, try to survive, because you only live once. Just because an Apocalypse happened, doesn't mean someone was suddenly born with magic powers that could bring someone to life. No. Sorry. Your dead and no amount of Stimpaks will help you. Just hope your body isn't ravished by Yao Guias. One can always get injured, one can always get sick. If you do not take the time to heal, then hope someone will be at your funeral. And don't think it'll take a day to heal that big booboo. If your a mutant, then your a bit lucky, since injury upon yourself is rather hard, though if you are injured, sad to say, Stimpaks don't work on you. You must heal on your own without the help of that necessity.
5- Don't think it can take a day to get from one place to another. What are you, a freak? Sorry, but not even mutants can't travel that fast. The days go by as your travel, for the Earth, no matter how fucked up the humans have been to each other, will always rotate at is current leisure.
6- Be warned travelers, for there have been sightings of Mutants and other beings from the West Coast area. Why they have traveled to this sad pathetic place is unknown to us all, but do not expect to have a friendly chat.
7- Children are wonderful, though unfortunately, even they suffer at the hands of Slavers. Cruel as they are, Slavers do not abuse the children, but punish them in a matter that is most fit for them.The adults though, aren't so luck.If a child is to be involved with Slavers, do know that they are not to be harmed in any brutal way, since even Eulogy has some sort of a heart.
Places of Interest......sort of.
Capital Wasteland- No matter what town your in, the area outside it will always be known as this. To the North, South, East or West. You'll always be in The Capital Wasteland.
Underground Bomb Shelter/Vault- Occupants residing here have been living in this underground haven for two hundred years, but two hundred is a long time and one can get tired after having been down every corridor of this place. One can leave, but can never enter.
Megaton- The largest city found in the Wasteland. This city is made purely of scrap metal and parts from cars to planes to whatever can be found. The citizens of this place welcome any person who isn't a threat to them. Find a home, a drink, fresh water, even a hooker or two.
Metro Gold Stations- Found in any tiny town or city in all of the Wasteland. Beware though. You may either find refugees down here or enemies lurking around. Like your mama said, “If you wanna get raped and killed, go to the Train Station. That'll teach you.”
Underworld/Ghoul Haven- Those who survived radiation and haven't succumbed to its ill effects, like being flesh eating ghouls, come to this save haven for civilized ghouls, where they built there own little town, deep in an under ground cavern located near the mountains.
Rivet City- is a city located inside a decaying, beached aircraft carrier in the Wasteland. It's the largest, most developed and scientifically-advanced settlement in this region. Its inhabitants live in individual rooms and enjoy safety and security inside the aircraft carrier. A number of guards rotate 24 hours a day to protect the ship from raiders, super mutants and idiots.
The Citadel- is the heavily defended headquarters of the Brotherhood of Steel in the Capital Wasteland in 2277. It is built into and beneath the ruins of the Pentagon, the pre-war headquarters of the U.S. military.
The Pitt- The Pitt is a city built in the remains of Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania on the East Coast in 2277. Following the Great War, survivors established a settlement on the remains of a city at the confluence of rivers. The rivers seem to provide a clear resource, and enough of the city was cleared by the bombs that a new settlement could be established. However, radioactive material and unidentified mutagens mixed into the groundwater, causing it to become slightly mutagenic and highly carcinogenic. As a result, the people in the new settlement began to change ever so slightly.
Outcast Outpost- The Outcast outpost is a small Brotherhood Outcasts compound located in a relatively clean pre-War military bunker.The building itself was under construction, with only the superstructure, elevator, and the VSS Bunker completed.

2. Please attempt to keep correct spelling, capitalization, and punctuation. People make mistakes, and this is understood, but at least showing some effort to keep your posts literate would be very much appreciated.
3 .Post a paragraph consisting of at least four sentences, no less. One-liners will be not permitted. Warnings will be handed out if you fail to comply. If you break this rule the third time, you will expelled from the thread. No exceptions.
4. We reserve the right to refuse anyone if we feel they wouldn't work well with what has been established here. This is nothing personal, but we are trying to keep this thread respectable and would prefer people who show at least a measure of literacy and competence.

6. The most important rule is, enjoy yourselves. This thread may consists of killing, horror and survival, but you can still have fun using all that awesome imagination, right?.
