My Little Sacrifice~

Deep in an ever green seeming forest, there lay a small village populated with Elves.
Not the kind of elf's some might think.
Certainly not the Keebler kind anyway, these were magestic and beautiful Dark Elves.
With beautiful skills, talents, and looks these creatures kept themselve's hidden for good reason and that was for...
1.) Not to be bothered
and 2.) Just another number to emphasize #1.
Kalina Oath was just a regular citizen of this specific village and had never seen her home threatened.
She never thought it would be either.
Though who was she?
She was a gatherer, the daughter of the leaders best friend. When ever the leader was in need of advice, he would go to her father.
This in turn gave them better privleges but not by much.

With silver hair and a dark complection, she did nothing but stand out against the forest. Though her apparell helped to the slightest degree. Her delicate hands brushed off her black knee high skirt and pulled her white cotten sleeves down. Picking up her flats she slipped them on her feet and started on her jorney back to the village from the stream. She came down here often when she needed the sound of the stream to blur out her own thoughts.
Pushing a strand of silver behind her ear she walked with grace and delacacy. Her strides were long and her crytal like eyes shifted only so slightly to occasionally glance around her suroundings.

Once back to the villiage, she went straight home.
With a refreshing attitude, she felt she probably should put it to use and see what need be done around the house.

High above the forest of the dark elves deep within the mountain lay a great fortress of a long forgotten race lay a treasure beyond what most kingdoms could ever imagine for themselves. Of course this treasure was not alone it was a dragon's treasure one of the last left in the known world, Argos was one of the few dragons left in this world that had not had his treasure stolen from him, he ruled this mountain and all within it. Today there was a sound like no other that was rarely heard, sometimes it would be one hundred years sometimes it would be ten but the roar of a dragon was never forgotten quickly and the elves remembered it quite clearly. The mountain shook with his rage and he blew hot blue fire onto the remains of the men who had tried to steal his treasure, the result of their break in had cost him the dark elf woman who had been tending to his needs. She had tried to protect him when he needed no such thing and the thieves had killed her, their remains were nothing more than scorch marks upon the stone ground now.

He roared again as he did the only thing he could do for the dark elf that had sacrificed her life for him, he lifted her body up with a single claw and carried her to the forest where she had been born. There he dug a grave for the little one and placed her within, she had been his companion for near fifteen years now and he found that he would miss her. With her buried he looked towards the dark elf village and knew that he would have a new concubine to tend to his needs as this girl hard, the roar they heard would have alerted them to his wants.
