"How long are you going to be gone?" Vince said as he looked up at his parents, they had just told him about the vacation they were taking. It was the middle of winter now and his mother and step father had planned to take a trip somewhere warm this year. Since the him and his now step sister were more than old enough to stay by themselves, they didn't bother finding a babysitter and gave them instructions for looking after the house. Looking down at the envelope of money he gave them, he looked back up and listened to the rest of their instructions, which they had also written down on some paper. His sister was still sleeping upstairs so he was mostly getting the brunt of the explanation.

Letting out of a small sigh he leaned up and hugged both of them goodbye and waved to them as they left, since they wanted to get an early start. Locking the door behind them he put the money and the paper on the table in the kitchen. Looking around and then up at the clock, he decided to go upstairs to see if his step sister was awake yet. Her door was cracked so he pushed it open slightly and walked inside, going over to her bed and sitting down on the edge, before reaching over and pushing her slightly, and said "Wake up sis."

Crystal was having a nice day and sleeping in, she heard a car starting and such but she just thought her parents were going out to get something to eat. Her body was nice and warm under the covers and she didn't want to get up, she was to comfortable and plus it was winter, she loved and hated winter but there was no way in hell that she was going to get up. Plus her older brother could make breakfast for all she cared, grabbing the blankets she pulled them closer but as she heard her door creak she growled lowly, her tail wrapping around on of her legs and her ears going slightly flat to her head. Looking up at her brother as he sat down on the bed she glared at him and hissed lowly "Why the hell do you want me to wake up? Go watch some TV or whatever but I'm not going to get up yet, it's to cold for one and I want to sleep.."

She turned around and he would see that she had one of her night gowns on, one that was just a top and some panties but she didn't really care if they showed at all, she would just put on some PJ bottoms once she got up so her brother wouldn't complain about it. Her ears went to the side and she finally sat up looking at him then sighed "What do you want to do today? Also mom and dad will be back soon so I plan to get up soon enough but just not right now.." Raising her arms she yawned and then rubbed her eyes to try and wake herself up, her tail going around her body and her ears perking up slightly.

Vince watched her as she tried to make him go away and he remained there until she had finally gotten up. Looking over at the wall for a minute as he listened to what she said, he replied "Well, they're not really coming back anytime soon. They left for a couple of weeks, they're going on vacation and leaving us home alone." Looking back at her, he snickered a little bit before he said "So you'll only have to tolerate me for a little while." Getting up from the bed he stretched his arms over his head, still not being fully awake from earlier, he then said "I'm going to go downstairs and get some breakfast for us, come down whenever you like. It's not too cold downstairs, the heater doesn't work that well up here." Smiling he leaned over and ruffled her hair before he turned back around and walked out of the room.
