He had known for some time that it was wrong to find her attractive, he was eleven years older then her and had known her since she was a child, when she had been hitting puberty he had been in college getting ready to graduate, when she had been in high school he had been going to law school now that she had was starting college his career as a criminal defense lawyer was just kicking off, he apparently had a natural affinity for it and though he was young and still not being trusted to handle cases entirely on his own he knew it was only a matter of time until he was able to make a real name for himself as the rising star of the firm. It might take years but he had his eyes on a corner office, a Vice Presidency... but that was something he wanted in the far off future while in the present there was something else he wanted, he wanted her, he wanted his kid sisters best friend.
Honestly Micheal Delaney didn't know when it had started, he remembered when he was still living at home she had been the cute friend of his sister who hung around a lot and was occasionally underfoot when she would stay the night. He vividly remembered one particular night when he had been back from school for the holiday season, she had been staying the night and through the thin walls between his room and his sister's he had heard the ten year old girls playing truth or dare... had heard her confess that she had a crush on him. It had been sometime after that when he realized that he cared about her... when he would visit home she would be there almost every time, always having grown more attractive then before and somewhere along the way he had become intensely attracted to her. The only problem, aside from the difference in age which he didn't see as a problem at all, was the fact that she already had someone in her life, that so sweet it was sickening guy that she called her boyfriend.
On the surface Micheal couldn't really see anything wrong with him, he seemed like the perfect guy for someone as sweet as her, he was friendly, courteous, always on his best behavior in public to the point that Micheal could barely remember seeing them share anything more then the most chaste of kisses in public, in other words he was practically a character out of a family friendly television show. Honestly it had been a shock to Micheal to find out that they would be sharing an apartment when they went to college, a shock made even worse because when she had been accepted to the University in the same city where he worked he had helped her find an apartment near campus that was within her price range.
That in particular disgusted him, it was a one bedroom apartment just a five minute drive from where he lived and to think that he was sleeping in the same bed as her every night, the things they might be doing so close to where he lived, he would be a fumbling inexperienced child who left her unfulfilled night after night with his feeble attempts.
He saw them quite often, his sister was in school in another state but her parents had asked him to check in on her for them, a favor which he was always happy to preform as a friend of the family. He even had a key to the apartment in case he should ever need to stop by, though most of the time when he went by to see how she was doing he didn't need the key, when her BOYfriend was in class at night she she didn't lock the door in case she fell asleep and he forgot his key, no matter how many times Micheal warned her about how dangerous that was she never seemed to listen to him and insisted she would be alright.
Tonight however she would be learning just how wrong she really was about that, tonight her boyfriend had two classes while she didn't have any which meant she would be home alone practically all night long, alone and defenseless, all ready for him to just stop by and visit her... though it would hardly be your normal visit from him, this would be unannounced, unexpected, and most importantly anonymous with the help of a mask made of black leather and latex that left his entire fact covered with the exception of his mouth, chin and eyes... something that might not look out of place on a supervillian in a summer block buster film.
He had bought the mask a few years before, there was a club that he had been used to when he had started to work at the law firm, an underground BDSM club that he had become a part of, where those who wanted to could enter while wearing a mask that was unique to them, allowing you to remain anonymous but also having recognizable features for when you interacted with the other people at the club... that same mask would serve him very well that night or any other night that might follow.
It was just shy of seven o'clock, the sun was just starting to set and now she was home with her boyfriend having just left for his first of the two classes, classes that would keep him out for at least four hours. Micheal had watched him leave from across the street in a coffee shop before going to his car to change into the proper gear, his mask on and a nice suit that went with it, the sort of 'costume' that he would normally wear to the club, and in a black duffel bag slung over his shoulder containing his 'equipment.' With any luck he would have a good amount of time with her that night, he intended to make it last because it might be his only chance to ever have her though he was planning on making it as enjoyable for her as he could, perhaps to show her what her little boy couldn't do.
Moving quickly he got out of his car and made his way up the backstair well of her apartment building, he knew from when he had checked the building out for her that the cameras they had put up were just for show and none of them actually worked, as he made his way up he flicked off the lights in the hall to hide him, though it appeared he didn't have to worry because there was no one around to see him as he reached the third flood and slowly pushed open the door to her apartment, pleased to find it unlocked... with a smile on his face, the only thing visible other then his piercing eyes he made his way in, looking about so that he could grab her the moment he saw her, trusting the thick cement walls to muffle any noise of her cries for help.
