She could hear them. The screaming residence of hell waiting for the special auction of the day to get started. Clearing her throat nervously, she shuffled backwards to the back of her cage, pressing her back against the cold bars. A male crounched in front of the cage, just staring in at the angel for a moment before unlocking the barred door and reaching in, gripping her arm tightly before quickly tugging her out. She tried to pull away from him while giving a small hiss at the burning sensation she started to feel around her wrist, her expression frightened as she was pulled to her bare feet. Stumbling out of the cage, the two paused as an announcer began calling out the start of the auction. Why did this have to happen to her? Though he was thankful that it was herself rather then her friend. She was sure she could deal with whatever was coming to her.
Ariel frowned quickly as she was tugged over towards the side of the stage behind a red velvet curtain and she waited to be guided onto the wooden platform. "Everyone, please pay close attention to our latest piece of merchandise." The husky voice paused before continuing. "Ariel, the angel!" He called out and the angel was pushed forwards up the stairs onto the stage, the man still gripping her creamy skin tightly, causing it to redden. They paused on the center of the stage and the girl stared out to the crowd, trying to pull away while muttering under her breath. "Get off of me.." Those bright blue eyes continued to dart from face to ugly demon face as she scanned the crowd, her expression almost feral as she tried to escape. "Ariel is a high ranking angel. Captured on the battle field." The announcer shouted again and the female cringed. "She even gave her life to save that of another, newbie angel!!" This statement caused roars of laughter not only from the announcer, but from the crowd too. Her ivory skin was almost glowing against the short, thin grey rags she had been forced to wear. Ariel was then pushed forwards down a catwalk into the crowd so that potential buyers could get a good look at the 'product'. "Obviously as you can see, she is a decent buy. A beautiful specimen well worth your coin." Frowning again, she mumbled. "Decent?" Her blue eyes glanced out over everyone again and her long blond hair was ruffled by the male stood closer behind him, making sure she didn't run for it. He seemed to almost step in to close the gap between their forms and it made her flinch forwards as she held her breath and her eyebrows knotted together. It was an uncomfortable connection.
Pausing a moment, she heard someone in the crowd shout. "Show us the wings!" Gritting her teeth, Ariel shook her head quickly before shouting back at them. "Yeah, right!" The angel tried to push herself backwards but the demon behind her was blocking her way. Her right arm was then pulled sharply behind her back and the man mumbled something into her ear as she gasped, getting dangerously close to her skin, before pushing her arm further up towards his shoulders. "A-Ah...Ow..!" The angel mumbled, gritting her teeth and bending forwards slightly. The loose bit of material fell forwards, revealing her cleavage to the audience. The motion caused her to fidget, trying to retain her modesty. "The angel will now show us her wings." 'The angel' blinked and shook her head defiantly. "G-Get stuffed!" Her arm was pushed further up her back and she gritted her teeth before falling to her knees with a gentle thud amongst the silence. The girl quickly hung her head and trembled slightly at the pain of her arm. A second later her large, fluffy, pure white wings extended from her back, ripping the material as they appeared, flapping once as they stretched in the air for everyone to see. Her expression was pained as she closed her bright crystal eyes, her face staring down towards the dirty stage floor in dispair. She hated showing people her wings, especially demons, the thought utterly disgusted her.
