Pardinus sighed as he hefted his bookbag on one shoulder, striding through the halls with a confident pensiveness. His jeans felt a bit snug and his red shirt was unbuttoned at the top to show off his fur-covered muscled chest. His brown ears twitched a bit at the background noise of people moving about in the hallway before classes started and his blue eyes scanned the corridors, finding nothing of particular interest.

His relatively short tail swayed slightly in back of him as he calmly stopped for a drink, long tongue lapping at the water fountain. He wiped his chin a little and sighed again, not paying much attention to the world around him in a state of utter apathy. It was times like this that he wished something dramatic and interesting could happen, but that wasn't often how life worked, he knew that well. He quietly headed off to his next class.

As Pardinus stopped at the fountain, Crystal could see him miles away as she giggled, running over to Pardinus as he came up for breath, tackling him with a big furry hug. "Pardinusss!" she exclaimed, with a soft giggle as she spoke. She nuzzled her maw to his open chest and looked up at him. All these signs were intentions for a good friendship, but it was getting a bit awkward with all the close contact recently.

When they released, she gave off a weak smile, yawning and stretching as she tried to talk again. "I didn't... get any sleep last night," she whined, "I'm scared I might doze off in class again,"
she said jokingly. Crystal was a very openhearted albino wolf with quite the curves you would want on any girl, yet there was always this strange little unique flaw with her. Her left ear was partially torn when her father had been drinking. She never let that get to her, though, as that was the last sign of abuse that she's really ever had within her family, and needless to say she never reflected off it as she always gave off this warm mood to everyone.

Pardinus backed up a bit, stumbling slightly as he was tackle-hugged. He stood strong after his initial surprise though and blinked slightly, showing a slight irritation and annoyance in his voice and face. "Hello Crystal, you're as clingy as ever I see." He stepped back a bit, noticing the oddly close contact she held with him lately. "If you're tired you should sleep more. What kept you up all night last night?"

He looked her over, her looking far more slender when compared with his somewhat bulky musculature. He smiled slightly and patted her head to show he didn't mean anything by the distant treatment. He was a bit too serious and not much like her own warm personality but her cared for her all the same. "We'll have to find some way to keep you awake during class, don't want you getting in trouble again." He had always helped her out when she was in need and vice versa, somewhat like siblings in their friendship.

"Zzz, Mr. Trump hates me I swear to God," she muttered to herself, pouting a bit. "Shouldn't have drank that much coffee so late," she shook her maw as she continued on, tugging Pardinus with her arm. "Let's go... were going to be late again!" she said loudly as she trudged through the crowd and into class.

Right as they sat down, the bell rang. "Told you!" she teased. Crystal took out her notebooks and a writing utensil that was never expected to be used anyway. Crystal was one of those girls that would always procrastinate and cram late at night for something. She wasn't a big fan of school, but she did enjoy being social, so she never complained too much. Class was a droning bore as time crept slowly. "I.. I think I'ma.." her eyes were only half-open as she leaned on Pardinus' arm, then shutting them entirely as she was able to fall asleep so quickly.

Pardinus sighed softly but couldn't help but chuckle inwardly. He was one of the tougher teachers around and her reaction was pretty usual for her so he found it a bit funny. "Alright, alright, don't tug, you'll rip it off." He said teasingly as he followed her off to class. They had been late a few times before for various things but he wasn't too worried about it. He made his way carefully through the crowd with her, sliding past a few people with a bit more difficulty as she cheerily slid through.

As they got into class and the bell rang, he sighed softly and shook his head. "At least we're in here on time today... sort of." He began taking a few notes. He wasn't too into it but he wasn't smart enough to be able to get away with doing things at the last minute so he tried to do a little maintenance while he went along and sometimes lent his notes to Crystal as well. He heard her words and felt her fall onto his arm, sighing again as he tried to nudge her quietly, shifting his arm to try and wake her up. "Crystal, not the best time to do this, wake up." He whispered.

"Nnh.. Nnh.. Five more.. minutes," she muttered as she kept fidgeting against his arm. Eventually though, she gave in, rubbing her eyes and still staring warily at the lecture, looking at the clock every minute or so due to boredom. It seemed like forever, but eventually the bell rang as it announced that it was time to get to study hall. As they entered there, she was finally able to pass out in sleep, accidentally falling to Pardinus' side as she began to snore softly.

After a quick ten minute power nap, she yawned, still looking weary but better. She had finished everything from last night so she had no point to pull out some work to do. Still smiling she turned to Pardinus again. "Mmm, Pardinus? Can I stay over at your house tonight? My dad's bringing his friends over and I don't want to be there when they.. you know," she muttered, holding his arm with puppy eyes. "Pleeaaaassseee?" she asked oh so eagerly.

Pardinus watched over her as she continued to sleep and slowly got up to pay attention. She was going to get in more trouble if she wasn't more careful, and he didn't want that, partially because he would have to bail her out if she did. He too kept one eye on the clock as he tried his best to pay attention and take some notes. He had to admit he was a bit grateful when the bell rang and class exited for their shared study hall.

Less than a few minutes in he noticed she was napping again. He was busy looking over his hastily taken notes though he was feeling a bit sleepy as well. He sighed and scratched her ear soothingly as she slept. He enjoyed watching her so content when she slept, him stroking her ear lightly as he looked over her snoring form. Soon she was up and ready again, though he wasn't yet done with what he had to do, he was a bit slow at times but that just meant he had to try harder.

He knew she had no such thing to do as she usually got her things in early or at the last minute with rarely any middle ground between them. He tilted his head slightly as she smiled and turned to him, wondering what she had in mind or wanted. He could always tell when she wanted something. He sighed when he heard her request, he knew her history with her father and really couldn't say no, not that he wanted to anyway, they were friendly enough to see through the mild awkwardness of the situation. "Fine, fine, you don't have to beg, you're always welcome." He chuckled softly and patted her on the head.

"Thaaaankk youuu," she said with a cute smile. Before long study hall had ended and she gave Pardinus another hug before leaving for her own classes. It was onnly study hall and history that were the periods they shared together.

Class remained a bore as it continuing. Seconds felt like minutes as hours felt like days. Nevertheless it finally hit lunch as she came out stretching after 3 hours of sheer boredom. Walking out of the classroom, she went straight to the lawn that her group of friends always met up, including Pardinus, of course.

She had already found Pardinus there when she jumped into his arms playfully. "Heyyyy-," she said softly as everyone else ended up showing.

(My character has dark blue fur now, sorry I just like it better :p)

"No problem." Pardinus shrugged and in what seemed like a moment later study hall was over. It always went by so fast and he rarely got a chance to finish anything he started. He separated with Crystal as he made his way to his own classes as well, sighing softly as he quickly grew bored and impatient with the way things were proceeding for the day.

Class was its usual boring self, he kept trying to take some notes but gave up on it by the time the first part of the day was over and it was time for lunch. As he went off to lunch he noticed he was the first one onto the lawn where their group normally met and sighed softly, sitting and waiting for the others to get there. Crystal was usually one of the last people there so he didn't expect her for a few more minutes.

Surprisingly she was a bit earlier than he expected and he jumped a bit as she jumped into his arms, holding her up carefully and trying not to touch anything inappropriate. "Hi there." He blinked softly, giving a soft smirk as the others slowly came in around them.

Breaking off in laughter, everyone just sat against the grass as they never ate the school food, rather just eat at home when the day was over. "Mmmm do you have anything at your house when I come over Pardinus?" she muttered as she was already a bit hungry. The school food was literally that bad, though, so no one resorted to that. "I am not eating that stuff they call food in the cafeteria, nope," she reassured herself as she held her stomach.

After a long while of chatting, class had to start again, and so did the cycle of boredom until the day finally ended. Crystal found herself nearly stumbling out of class until she saw Pardinus in the school hallway.

Scurrying over, she walked up to him without scaring him anymore and gave a really warm "Hi! Ready to leave?" she asked as she had already tugged him over to the student parking lot to find his car. He always parked in one particular area but she never remembered where it was.

Pardinus smirked softly as they sat there in their group. Lunches with them were fairly quiet and relaxing though sociable and enjoyable at the same time. He turned to Crystal, smirking softly as she asked him, she was always so unprepared for most things. "I do, but here, can't have you keeling over before we get there." He reached into his bag and pulled out a single apple. He figured something like this would come up and he ate surprisingly little for his size. He handed her the apple and finished off the lunch period quietly.

Once they finished talking and they each went their separate ways to class, Pardinus was equally bored with classes but the break had given him a bit more patience with the boredom as he made his way through the rest of the day with some effort to at least pay the foggiest bit of attention in his lessons.

Pardinus smiled softly as they left classes for the day, feeling a bit bogged down from it but he was certainly not as tired as his female friend was. "Yeah, you look more than ready though." He chuckled softly. He followed her and helped her find his car, leading her to it and opening the door for her before getting in himself and starting it up.

As they drove to Pardinus' home, she turned on the radio and stretched, looking out the window as she was finally happy they were done with that hellhole called school. It had finally hit the weekend and she didn't want to do anything at all. Eventually, they pulled into Pardinus' home as it revealed a two story suburban house. She had been there many times before but never really spent the night at her friend's house.

Once walking in, she smiled as he opened the door, running for the couch and plopping onto it nonchalantly. "Can I napppp?" she said with a yawn as she was going to nevertheless. She was exhausted, but nothing would do better than a nice break from the world. Before long she began to fall to a deep slumber, even snoring slightly as she fell unconscious.

When she had woken up, it seemed that the day had been lost as the moon had risen up, Pardinus was around her nearby as she meekly said "Hello," rolling off the couch and onto the floor. Her half opened eyes tried to make out what was happening, yet all she saw was a television in front of her and her favorite lynx.

Pardinus carefully drove them home, listening softly to the music she turned on but trying not to get distracted. He too was relieved that the school week was over and he would get to relax a bit, he could already feel his muscles relaxing and becoming less tense. Eventually they got where they were going and he looked over his house as they pulled in. It wasn't much but home was home. He knew she had never been over for the night and tried to make some mental arrangements for where she would sleep but knew she would go for wherever she happened to drop, planning was pointless to some extent.

"Sure." He responded to her question, knowing it didn't really matter what he said, watching her fall asleep quickly, trying to busy himself and make something to eat as he waited for her to wake up. He made a fresh meal of past, putting it away so it was easy to heat up again when she was up, grabbing a bit of a snack for himself and waiting. As night fell he turned on the TV to relax and watch a bit, hearing her stir a bit and watching her as she woke. "Hello there sleepy head." He smirked as he watched her roll over. "Dinner's in the fridge if you want some." He looked to her fondly before continuing what he was doing.

"Mmm.. hi," she said with a weak smile as she woke up. She went to the floor, leaning her back against the couch as Pardinus came over. She sighed, leaning against Pardinus against his soft, yet muscular arm. "Sometimes I hate my life," she sad, now not in the mood to kick in her usual self. She usually was never like this, but now that they were alone, she always felt she could be true to her feelings around Pardinus. She flinched her ear, nuzzling into his arm for comfort.

"My dad needs to get his shit straight," she mumbled to herself, loosely fixing her eyes on the muted television. She looked at Pardinus, looking at how he would always comfort her, be there for her, and support her. A tear suddenly ran down her eye as she began to sob once or twice over Pardinus' shoulder.
