Emma cursed and stopped her walking looking around. She should of been back in the parking lot by now, could she had taken a wrong turn? Or missed a pathway? It was dark, and she could barily see anything, so there was no doubt she could have.
A sudden chill ran through her as the wind picked up and she grasped onto her shoulders, dropping her bag and reaching for her cell phone. The faint glow eminating from the small screen, gave her little help in the dark and checked the time. It was midnight and she still had to do a load of homework and studying.
She silently cursed to herself before turning around, back in the direction of the house.
This little Red, wasn't sure how far she had walked but she could no longer hear the sound of music, or see the glow of lights.
Gulping, she picked her bag up and took a step, in the direction she thought was where she came. Maybe she could get back to the house and have someone lead her to the parking lot, as embaressing as that sounded.
Putting her cellphone back in her bag, she continude her venture back to the house, more or less confident in the way she was going.
A sudden snapping of twigs made her stop for a moment, looking around, into the brush. For a moment she thought she caught a sort of reflection, or gaze. Her heart beat picked up a notch and she, with a little more eager pace, started back towards the house.
