It was a warm summer day in New Bark Town, and a fresh supply of young pokemon had been brought in to Professor Elm's lab for him to distribute to new trainers coming through the area. The only problem was a small bag of them had been stolen, leaving him short.
Elm was at a small table outside his lab, a security guard on hand to ensure no more were stolen, and was taking down names and handing them a pokeball. Some of the youngsters were asking for a 'lucky dip', meaning Elm chose a random ball to hand them, and others were asking what ones he had and choosing. In the end, he was down to 1 person and 2 balls. Not much choice for them, but it was all they had. A Houndour, and a Magby.
