Just like Alice, you're due for a trip into a strange realm (so long as you continue reading) although, while I am certainly nothing like as talented an author as he is, my imagination happens to be rather more diseased than Lewis Caroll's (alright maybe not, but more adult-oriented at least) reader discretion is, as a result, advised. Even so please do not take anything you read here too seriously. All is meant in fun, and the words and opinions of the people in my stories are not my own. Although they did come from the aforementioned diseased imagination - a thing I happen to be rather proud of. Also, as yet the contents of this thread are rather sparse, but with any luck soon my muse will spread her wings (they're slightly atrophied as I've had her chained up in my crawlspace for the last three years, an unfortunate necessity when one must write to a schedule) and allow me to pepper it with all sorts of pleasant things, and all sorts of unpleasant things as well, the latter being my favourite. Until then you are still more than welcome to look around, and read what is available.
These forays into the world of vignettes, one-shots, short stories, novelettes, novellas, scenes and other forms of writing which do not require any excessive commitment in the arena of time are a form of writing which, while in some ways rather like an old friend (years ago I spent some time writing erotic fiction catering to non-mainstream sensibilities and tastes on commission prior to the internet making such things widely and freely available) are in other ways unfamiliar and strange. It has simply been such a long time. So it may take me a little while to settle in, but I am looking foreword to the challenge. Whether or not I ever have the time, or the opportunity to post anything truly substantial however will be up to chance, but in so far as content is concerned expect a rather contrasting mixture. I am not going to say I have mastered any style or genre because I do not think I have, but I like trying to work in almost any genre, in almost any medium, and in almost any style.
As a final note and caution, while I am always glad of constructive criticism and other feedback, and am quite thick-skinned should you dislike, or think trite a particular character, plot, etc. (please tell me why though); I ask that you refrain from commenting on grammar, punctuation and spelling in any direct sense should you review my work. My profile explains why, but the simple fact is I must, and am capable of correcting these things myself. On occasion I simply cannot be moved to wait until I have proofread a story five, six, ten or perhaps even more times (depending on its length) before posting it. Such edits will be made in time, but that does not mean I expect you to behave as if they have. By all means take such things into account if it should please you, and lead you to give a less favourable review. I simply ask that you refrain from bringing them to my attention directly, or pointing out such things where I might see it. Some people find this difficult to appreciate; for example I have heard it said that I should be glad of the help, but doing this is rather like carrying a man who is attempting to rehabilitate his legs. Its work I need to do myself.
