Lily stared at the lit candles, watching the flames dance. The transmutation circle was drawn perfectly in white chalk in the center of the room on the wooden floor boards. Her eyes glanced to the dish in the center of the room, staring at the contents withing. Lily was a little un-nerved about what was in the thing and what Lily had to go through in order to get them. She didn't believe this spell would work, so what she was doing? Perhaps it was just mere curiosity and boredom. She gripped onto her white, short kimono, clutching the folds closely together so as to hide her cleavage. Closing her eyes, Lily began to recite the incantation. There was a sudden strange stir in the pit of her stomach, something telling her to stop. Yet, she ignored it, she couldn't stop now. Something was driving the words forth from her lips. The flames began to flicker in an angry dance, the temperature in the room rising.
Soon, the final word had been spoken. Just as the last word rolled from her delicate tongue, the flames were blown out. The room had gone completely dark and an eerie sense of calm swept over the room and blanketed itself over Lily's body. As Lily opened her eyes, the candles were re-lit and nothing appeared to be out of the norm. Lily bit her bottom lip as she looked around. Nothing. For an odd reason, Lily felt rather relieved and yet part of her was disappointed. With a heavy sigh, Lily sat down on the floor, staring at the chalk markings on the floor. "What a bunch of crock." She murmured to herself.
