What would you do for power?

Ashira stood gazing across the waters of the ocean. She stood on a cliffs edge, her lavender eyes watching the setting sun and absorbing the spectrum of colors it turned the sky, the clouds painted shades or pinks reds, purples and blues, hinting with oranges and yells as well. She knew once the sun laid rest the world would once more be dark, besides the small amounts of light given off by the moon and stars. Unless in a village where torches and lanterns adorn the dirt streets.

Spring was here brushing the world anew with life after the long dead of winter. The breeze not yet to its hottest. Was still warm against the skin. Wrapping around her like a lovers embrace, caressing like a lovers touch. Drawing out a long sigh from this Half demon. The wind tickled her black ears, that resembled much like a wolf's and its fuzzy silkiness, twitched and always alert. Her long flowing black tail swayed behind her. It to was like a wolf's with its fluffy length. Her hair was black as sin,

Sighing she turned on her bare feet, turned and walked away from the beautiful sight. Heading back towards the forest edge. she had been lost in thought for so long, anger, and on a tiresome quest for power. To become a full demon, not some halfling that is constantly mocked at all her life. A frown pulled at her ruby lips as she shook her head chasing off the memories of the young pup she used to be. There wasn't anything she could find that was was wrong with her other then no ture demon self, and the lack of power. Power she wished she had, But what would she do for power? Anything.

Small petals of pink added to the beautiful masterpiece that was the sky. Sakura petals. So rare and hard to come by in a region such as this. However, this was not a normal region. Trees of multiple origins covered the floor of the rich forest. Bits of light from the sky above filtered through the different types of leaves that sat interlocked in the canopy. A small petal landed on a small fox-like ear.

A small yawn emanated from the form the ears belonged to. A demon. Silky white hair flowed down his face, covering his frail features. Small thin frame carried his body, clad in dark clothing that contrasted perfectly with his hair. A rather large tail slid from just above his pants. Another white appendage. A small twitch fell through his body, a sign that the demon was beginning to awaken. Small sapphire eyes opened, quickly adjusting to the light of the forest depths. This was Jin. Ironic name in actuality.

With a yawn, the fox-eared demon arose to his feet, basking in the glow of the forest of many species. This was all of his doing. As a full demon, Jin had amazing abilities that were far greater than much else in existence. It was funny how someone so small had such amazing abilities. A tiny smile touched the fox demon as he examined the beauty of his work. It was then that he could feel something off. There was an intruder in his woods. And by the feeling of it, a half-demon. A smirk replaced his smile as he waved a hand, creating a trail through the woods. This trail would lead him to the clearing where he awaited his visitor.

What she wore was much like a kimono, its sleeves bellowed baggily around her tone feminine arms, the body tight and form fitting, contouring with ever curve and dips her body had to offer. Her breasts weren't overly large, but large enough to cause strain to the material. it acted like a dress, the material fitting snugly along her hips, reaching mid thigh. There was a belt type fabric wrapped around the small of her waist, taking up from right beneath the breasts to beneath her navel. The coloring was black, much like her hair, ears, and tail, the waist piece and ribbons that lined through the arm pieces were matching her eyes. Black furred leg warmers kept her feet hidden, where dagger like claws adorn each toe, the material giving off the illusion she wore boots. There around her neck hung an old pendant passed down from her mothers side who was a demon, the orb bounced in the diamond opening of her chest, revealing snow white cleavage.

Sighing softly she disappeared into the forest. The forest belonging to a kit demon, the forest of many trees. She had been given some information in which to aid her on her quest. She was told that this demon could possibly help her in her search of power, the power to become full fledged demon. Just like her mother. No more making a mockery of her.Her dark brows furrowed remembering the children teasing her. both human and demon young being cruel cause she fit in neither group, and often made her sit alone and dejected.b She could only hope the source was right about this. Swallowing she looked around, her wolf like ears twitching and alert, her tail swaying restlessly behind her. Tilting her face she inhaled. He was close, his scent was in the air. faint cause of the sakura blossoms but it was there.

The demon leaned patiently against the tree he had been sleeping beneath. That feeling from earlier was still fresh in the air. Whoever it was that had come into his woods drew near. Jin smirked broadly. An idea had begun to form within his mind. He hadn't had a visitor in years. Perhaps he should roll out all of his hospitality. The white-haired male lifted a hand above his head, pressing his thumb and finger together. He snapped. The sound didn't travel further than three feet before going silent. From there, only those who he created could hear the snap. This was the sign for his children to awaken.

A small group of eyes formed in the trees above the half-demon, watching her carefully. Small orbs of red swirled above, barely visible thanks to the light from the setting sun. The youngest of his children, and by far the most annoying... Flies. Low buzzing began to vibrate through the forest as the swarm of insects descended from above. They were about the size of a horse fly, but nearly twenty times stronger. This combined with the fact that they swarmed in groups of hundreds was what became the most threatening about them. Then there was the venom that Jin decided to give them. Wasn't anything much, but it would suck the energy out of whatever they bit for about an hour. Its never been tried against a half-demon before. They converged on the wolf-like demon, biting the flesh. Several other groups began to push her roughly, edging her down the path to the clearing.
