"Where the hell is it!!!!"
With a screeching cry of irritation, Elorin fell to the ground, shimmering emerald orbs swelling up with tears as she began to weep quietly. The wind began to blow streaming through silken dark locks as she looked up...the sky covered with clouds. It was going to rain soon.
"So...you've lost father's trinket..."
The woman growled at the voice behind her. Turning her head, she tilted it to the side cutting her eyes at the woman who'd addressed her. Great. This was just what I needed.... Elorin thought to herself sarcastically. Before she could even fix her mouth to say a word the other held up two fingers.
"This is the second time you've fucked up my dear. I can no longer cover for you--"
Elorin couldn't stifle the sudden laughter that erupted from inside her as the other talked. She was no good Samaritan. She was just a parasite looking for any opportunity to take her place on the throne. Standing to her feet Elorin grinned. "You are so... delusional. Who are you trying to convince that you've been doing good by me...Me or yourself?"
"..."
The other was silent for moment before she started to cackle. "Oh, I'm going to enjoy ripping that pretty little head of yours off your body." Elorin was positive the moment she was to make the other angry she would attack her. She was no match for her and she could take her out easily. However, as the brunette stood in her battle stance she had summoned quite a few henchmen. Those...she couldn't take on in the state she was in, so she darted off.
Sure enough as she had predicted it started to rain. Blinded by the fall of heavy rain, Elorin tripped falling to the ground with a hard thump. In no time she was surrounded. But for some reason she wasn't worried. She knew that all she had to do was fight her way out of their encirclement and get to civilization as soon as possible. Even the bitch knew not to test her father's temper with exposing their existence to the world.
...
She quickly made her way out of the woods and onto the nearest road. Into the city she ran and the first house she stumbled upon she knocked on anxiously. It must’ve been really late out. No one was out and the other was drawing closer. If whoever owned the home didn’t answer the door she was fucking doomed, because there was no way in hell she would be able to fight in her condition.
