The year 2013 and after the supposed 'end of the world' passed by everything had been quiet. Especially for Razz, school had passed by uneventfully for her. Sure she had lots of friends and always had something on her schedule but it just wasnt interestng.
She stoo now in Hot Topic browsing over shirts while swiftly putting items intoher purse without anyone seeing. It was then that the whole world ended. After looking into a mirror and fixing her emo hairstyle. Long with layers, purple exensions, and bangs cut it to a slant.
A heavy weight woman came bustling into the store and spoke hurriedly to an employee. I only caught snippets of her words as Razz grabbed a large black backpack with rainbows on it.
"Man outside....bloody....police officer goes......bitten!...Seizure.....gets up.....bites other people." With that they all rushed out.

With a skittering of shoes, Eugene hit the pavement running, almost losing his grip on the roll of paper under his arm. He caught it by the tips of his fingers and wrestled it back into his grasp. "Please, PLEASE be okay..." He muttered as he gave the poster a once-over to make sure it wasn't damaged. Eugene was a tall guy, his blond hair cropped short at the base of his neck with darker sideburns that tapered off at his sharp jaw. His lean muscles relaxed as he breathed a sigh of relief, rolling the advertisement he had designed back up.

That was when an elbow caught him in the shoulder and sent the paper skittering across the pavement. He had enough time to bark, "FUCK YOUR SHIT" at the running woman before going after the paper. It had rolled midway across the street and he had almost reached it when a foot came down upon the poster, flattening it into the ground. "What the FUCK is the rush!?" He demanded as he looked around, first at the direction all the people were running to, then to what they were running FROM.

Down the street he could see figures, not running like the rest of the crowd, but stumbling in a rough line towards the people. And towards Eugene. As he watched, a man stepped out of one of the stores to see what the commotion was. All at once, the number of figures fell upon the man, dragging him to the ground. Even from the distance away, Eugene could see the crimson blood arcing through the air.

"...Fuck." He breathed, then turned and ran, leaving the crumpled paper on the street.

Michelle breathed hard through her nose as the gym teacher, a haggard old bitch, pushd al the girls to their limits. Running five laps was easy, but twelve? Now the teacher was just being greedy. The sun shon down making even the ruddy school track shine in glorious summer sunshine. A bead of sweat trickled its way out of Michelles chectnut hair which had a light sheen of red in the sunshine.
She grimced lightly at the school gm clothes, green shorts and a white tee with the school emblem on the brest pocket. She was about to finish her seventh lap whenever a scream erupted from the other side of the tracks.
Michelle stopped immediately, smoothing her shirt over her-now sore- size c breasts. A girl lay twitching on the ground with a hulking male figure on top of her. At least ten people rushed over to help her, that is until the man turned his eyes.
Blood streamed from his cleched mouth and his skin was a gray color. He stood and with an almost predatory lunge he attacked anouther person and tore into their arm. Now screams erupted as more and more people were getting attacked.
"You have got to be shitting me!" Michelle cussed turning to run towards her high school building.

Fully warmed up, the figure leaped from the edge of a building, easily landing and rolling to settle the impact. Jason Kharo was a free runner in the city, and had woken up early in order to get some running done while it was quiet. He was a tall, lean and well muscled young man, eighteen years old with a handsome face and short, spiked up mousey brown hair. His profession was free running and that's all it had ever been. He had scaled the biggest buildings in the city with ease, watching the world pass by for hours and hours on end.

It was while perched he noticed what seemed to be crowds of people, surging away from a group of shambling people, although he watched as one person lagged behind, the smaller group of people flocked to them, obviously biting and tearing away at the body. He'd read books, internet articles and such, and he could guess what was happening. Zombies. As crazy as he found it, zombies. When he was younger, it had been a little hobby of his to learn about them and due to that, he knew exactly what to do. Jumping from the city ledge down onto a lower one, he accomplished what would be a ten minute run to his flat in the time of two minutes, jumping over and off buildings.

Already in his room, he took a metal baseball bat and a pair of hand claws he had purchased a couple of years ago for his birthday, but he had always kept them sharp, incase of thieves or attackers. He slipped them onto his hand and put the baseball bat on his back, with a backpack of many different items, from food, torches, ropes, matches, condoms, pen-knives and so on. With that, he climbed onto the roof and started to run towards the school. For a building it was quite secure, as he could remember from his time there that was.

As he sat on a building near the school, he saw a zombie bite into what seemed to be a student, then bite into the arm of another. Knowing that killing one while it was turning was the best option, he stood back and took a running jump off the building's edge, landing in a roll on the school sports shed. Jason dropped off the roof and ran towards the group of running students. "You! We have to kill them now, quickly, give me a hand!" The handsome man shouting, throwing a girl the metal baseball bat, which was Michelle as he would later find out. "Hit the ones over the head who had been bitten, don't stop until you have crushed it!" He said over the screaming. Already he was running at the first zombie, ready to attack it with the blade claws, hoping they could actually stab and cut.

Michelle clumsilly caught the bat, suprised to find it light, she watched as the guy jumped off the shed and lunged foreward, arms drawn back. Kill her classmates? Was he nuts? But as she watched the students flee in terror, and the monsters attacking one anouther confidence filled her core.
She sprinted foreward towards a creature that had once been a short girl, swinging the bat sideways she cracked it against the girls skull. It barely flinched before it tried rushing foreward. Using all of her strength Michelle brought the bat down ontop if its head. At that blow it crumpled to the floor, rigimortis already taking over.
She continued smashing the creatures, small ones at first, but once she got the hang of it she was flinging her bat at any of them that came near her. Blood splatters were all over body but thankfully not in her mouth.

Razz smiled wide at the oppertunity that had just appeared. All of the attendents rushing out just like that was a theifs dream! She opened the black backpack with the rainbow an removed the packing inside. The she rushed through the store, sure that at any moment the people would come back.
She was just about to stuff random things into her purse when a thought hit her, if there was some sort of mass riot going on, shouldnt she be prepared? Instead she abandoned her heels with thick combat boots. When she left Hot Topic she heard the front entrance rattling, Razz investigaed finding people trying to get in but the doors were mysteriously locked. She decided to ignore them.
Then she began checking other stores and sure enouph they were empty as well. She got many things throughout the mall; sword, lamp, unperishables, matches, a jacket, and to top it all off a long metal rod usually used to grab items off of high shelves.
Razz opened one of the malls side entrances to leave just when a crowd of people running past. Their eyes were so filled with fear that they didnt notice her standing in the doorway.
One man was stumbling behind the group so reaching out with the metal rod she snagged the back of his shirt, yanking him in and shutting the door before anyone could see. Sure enouph she heard more people run by without stopping.
