(edit: To clarify, I'm looking to be the PC. I'm looking for a male GM to play as the men and monsters she encounters.)
[Scene: A feudal wonderland of a palace, adorned with the distinctively Asian-themed architecture of spiked roofs and intricate marble columns. The camera zooms in from a great height, toward the awesome structure...Perched, impossibly, atop a lonely mountaintop, the view pans toward the sprawling complex, arching down the slope in three rolling 'tiers'...]
Pan in, at the very first level. Ornate doors slide open, to admit a single figure; Thunder booms overhead, in a low, solemn roll, as blazing golden letters hurl fire into the sky...

Heya, all! Recently, after playing several over-the-top platform games- In the vein of Devil May Cry, Bayonetta, God of War and all it's relevant clones- I've been longing for an RP based vaguely on the same concept. The idea I've had in mind would be a lovely female player- As her equally lovely PC- testing out a very immersive VR game along those lines. Of course, she quickly realizes that it's not a game, after all, when she has difficulty logging out- And the various monsters and the final boss, the demonic Shogun, has very perverted plans in mind for her!
Even the minigames between the levels are getting oddly suggestive...And now she has to play to win (While having fun along the way) without being tempted into staying for good.
As the title suggests, I was thinking that the game's setting would be a schizotech blend of fantasy and fiction- I'm not aiming for something particularly realistic, here, more the over-the-top action as seen in all those Ninja Gaiden-ish games...Albeit with the subtext turned into text. It's not so much feudal Japan as the perception that it's fantasy Japan. -_^
I'm certainly open to other genres, too, but this is the one most immediately familiar to me. ^_^

I'd like the mood to be slightly tongue-in-cheek; Maybe with nods to how the game system functions- than dark and dramatic, though. While she is nominally trying to get out...It doesn't mean she can't have fun along the way!
