(Hey Sky Andol is a second year at the school... ok...? :) )

The young man let out a sigh as he walked through the halls of the boarding school... trying to concentrate on the first chess tournament that he knew was going to be coming up soon. Yet he found his mind wondering away from practice and everything else, and to the problems he had with bullying. It wasn't like he didn't stand up to them, it was more like he wasn't strong enough to be able. They were mostly able to pin him down and just beat his ass to ground anyway. So again he kept trying to think of the many strategies that he had come up with and to just focus on them, but he felt that he couldn't, and it was at that moment that Andol had soft tears running down his face as he walked down the hall; today was another bad day as usual. He had spent a bit of the day in his room crying, not just because of the bullying, but just because he had felt bad about life in general. He wondered if maybe things would get better soon, well at least he was lucky in the fact that he didn't have a roommate. That was one thing to be thankful for. It made him smile a little bit as he thought about the fact that he had a private room, and the fact that he still had that favorite ring of his. It was very special to him, and he had gotten it form the first guy he had ever loved. The guy had been a dragon who had been killed in car wreck a week later. They had never had sex or even kissed, but there relationship had been close. So that was why the young man held onto the ring.

It was then that he noticed that he was not alone in the hallway... and that he was being followed. Andol knew that all he really had to do was to make it to his room and the two guys behind him would not be able to get in. So he sped up his walking quite a bit, and just pretended like he didn't notice that they where there... and right before he could turn down the hallway to his room, the young man found it suddenly blocked bay another guy as he was quickly pushed against the nearest wall by the leader of the gang of three guys who regular liked to use Andol as there punching bag. Though as usual he was quite defiant in his nature as he said, "Look Leo... I said get the fuck off me..." The cat anthro who was the leader of the group hiss at him in an angry fashion saying, "Shut the fuck up. Look we know that your parents give you a good amount of money and we want all of it.. NOW!!" The lion growled a bit as one of his human friends punched Andol across the face, leaving the young man with a black eye. He then said to him again, "Now I said your going to give us the money that we want or else." Andol knocked the others hand away saying, "As if... now just fuck off."

This only caused another hit though this time it was form the lion himself and not form one of the two humans as he punched Andol in the gut. Causing the young man collapse down the wall a little as the wind was knocked out of him. Though he did his best to keep stand, and was helped by the fact that the lion was holding him against the wall... and then at that moment Leo after getting no answer for a few second growled again and said, "Well if that is the case and you’re not going to give me what I want then I will just take something precious form you." It was then that other male looked at the necklace that he had always seen the human wearing and with a evil smirk on his face he said, “Such as that stupid little ring you got…” He reached out and snatched it off of Andol’s neck, though the young man was quick to grab it, as a look of horror crossed his face, at the very possibly at loosing the only thing which he had to remember his first love by. So he held onto it with all his might as the lion pulled at it saying, “Give it here right now you little piece of shit…” Yet Andol would not let go, even when the humans started to kick him he would not let go of his most precious passion… of course it eventually became too much and he found it ripped away from him. That was the end of it for him, as he found himself trapped there by these bullies and pinned to the wall, his ring stolen away by Leo… he wasn’t sure what he was going to do or how he was going to do, but the only thing he could do for the first time was to squeak out the words… “Help me…” It wasn’t loud, but if there was anybody in the hall they would be able to hear it.

(Alright. Ezekiel is going to be a 3rd year, if you don't mind.)

The car door shut rather loudly as a figure removed himself from his car. He leaned against it for a moment, grumbling softly to himself and thinking what he had left to come here. Not only to the school, but to the country in general. He pushed himself off and flexed his wings a bit before moving around to the back of the car, popping the trunk open swiftly. He grabbed his duffel bag and put it over his shoulder. It containing everything he really would need for his new life at the school; given the fact that it was a bit larger than standard, packed tightly, and bulging at that. Ezekiel groaned softly as he turned to look at the campus. While not displeasing to the eye, or mind to most; it was very displeasing to his own thoughts as he approached it from the parking lot. His brain was mainly riveted upon the friends he had left, possessions he hadn't been able to bring, his girlfriend, and his family. Now it was up to his brother to take care of his ill mother, a fact which he worried about every other second. He stepped through the main entrance to the school and sighed softly.

Why the Hell did I ever leave England?

The British transfer stuck his hands in his pockets as he traversed the halls, not too interested in conversing with anyone around him. Or anyone at all, for that matter. He was not in the best of moods at the moment. All he could hope for now was a dorm to himself. Which, Lord knows he probably wouldn't get, but a gryphon could hope, couldn't he? Following the signs posted around the campus, he navigated his way to the administrative office. He placed his hands upon the counter as he entered, drumming his talons softly to get the secretary's attention. As the human looked up, she quickly looked down again and grabbed something before standing. "Mr. Stephens, how nice it is to meet you," she said, extending a hand to shake. "Pleasure," he said, a British accent obvious in his monotone. He took the key offered to him, the schedule, and his dorm assignment.

Ezekiel was now close to his dorm when he heard the soft cry for help, and general banter of idiots. His body heaved with a heavy sigh, and he turned down the hallway, finding a young man pinned to the wall by a lion. "Oi! Watcha doing to that boy?" he called, slipping his hands out of his pockets. With a strong shove, he managed to get away the two lackeys and give the lion a good ole' jab right across the face. He grasped the boy and helped him stand as he nearly fell. Ezekiel glared over at the lion and leaned Andol against the wall before coming to stomp on his wrist, seeing the ring inside his now outstretched palm. "Eh? Is this yours? No. So why do you have it?" He bent over and picked it up, walking back to the boy to hand it to him. He felt a hand on his shoulder and quickly swung his duffel backwards, knocking the wind out of the human friend of Leo's. Ezekiel helped Andol down the hall to what would now be both of their dorm; opening the door with the key. He stepped in and set down his duffel, shutting the door and sitting the boy on the gryphon's bags.

"Are you alright? Are you broken anywhere?" he asked in his British tone of voice, not too thickly ladled into his speech; but enough to make for quite a handsome matter of speaking.

(I was hoping that maybe Zek could know Draco?... Actually I think it would be best if they were not roomates you know...)

Andol's normally wasn't all that submissive in his personality... it was just that he had been trained to be that way. I was hard to really hold up after being beat up some many times, and to find that your efforts to fight back where easily brushed aside. That was probably the reason that he had fallen for Draco... the dragon who had died. The other male had protected and had helped to boast his confidence to fight back and even try to get stronger so that he would be able to defend himself. This had been crushed though with the death of the other male, as Andol had not really found much time to train himself before Draco had died, and so that left him in his weak state. He knew that it seemed sad, but his moral had been beaten down enough, but that didn't mean that he didn't fight back, which was why at this point he was trying to reach up and grab his ring back. It was indeed that important to him... of course that was when he suddenly heard something, in that long dark tunnel that he felt himself in, it was a voice... and form the sound of it; he could tell that it was indeed a voice of a savior.

Andol recognized the voice of Ezekiel... one of the most popular guys at the school, and so there was no way that he could forget the gryphon. Plus the fact that Draco had known the gryphon had introduced him to the other male one time, and they sometimes had talked in the halls, but had not really been friend, but here he was being saved by the other male. This made him happy a bit as he smiled up in the direction of the gryphon and watched the since that happened. He cheered for the gryphon anthro in his mind, but knew that the end of this was already decided. The two humans where not going to mess with an anthro and Leo wasn't as strong as Ezekiel was. So he watched as Leo realized that it was the gryphon that was behind them, and the lion turned around with a smile that was so smug it made one want to punch it off of his face, "Oh hey Ezekiel... we were just trying to get some money from the human here... if you wanted to help I could give you a cut?" Though the feline quickly found his question answered as he was sent flying into his two cohorts. The three of them tangle up in each other, and after they had the ring taken away and tried again to hurt the large avian... they then found themselves trying to get away because they knew better than to piss the gryphon off even more... so they got up and started to run down the hall though Leo left with the words, "Don't think this is the end of this Ezekiel... you can't protect him forever." Soon they were gone.

Andol just looked up at the larger male as he stepped towards him and helped him to get up. An act which he was grateful for because the punch that he had taken to the stomach had really hurt. He also took the ring and slipped it back onto its chain which was around his neck and luckily had not been broken, "Thanks Ezekiel I really appreciate this... you didn't have to risk yourself for me." Andol was normally humble in his expressions of thanks, because he was so surprised usually when people helped him. As the other put his arm around his shoulder and they began to walk back to there dorm that they where going to share... Yet the young man had not found out this information down. Andol had always had a privite dorm... and had not yet gotten his assignment for the semester so didn't know that it had been changed. As he sat down on the bed of what he assumed was the gryphons room and looked over at the other male, with a soft smile on his face... “That is really sweet of you Ezekiel… I have never had anyone stand up for me before… at least not since Draco died.” There was sadness in his voice at the end as he thought fondly of the dragon he had loved.

Ezekiel sat beside Andol on the bed, looking to the boy. He had known him once before, even then only vaguely. Draco had been a friend of his... back then. Of course Ezekiel had known Andol's name, that he was human, and that he was Draco's boyfriend; but that was really it. Besides a few small chats amongst the hallways, the two had hardly ever spoken to each other, let alone get to know each other. Yet, any friend (or lover) of Draco's was a friend of his, so he had happily saved Andol from harm. "Think nothing of it," he said, rubbing the boy's shoulder. He did so as a comforting measure upon noting the sad tone of voice that was apparent in his last few words. "Ay, and a loss Draco was to anyone that knew him... I'm sorry that it had to happen to you, Andol. But I'm sure he's still watching over you." He smiled softly and stood for a moment, going to his duffel bag. From it, he extracted two bottles of water, handing one to Andol. He twisted cap off of his own and took a few large gulps, smacking his beak thirstily.

Now, to explain Zeke's sexual standpoint. Ezekiel had once had a girlfriend before attending boarding school. She was a cute bunny anthro, and they had loved each other for a while. But after he began to attend here, and she moved away; they decided that a long distance relationship wasn't exactly going to work. So they had broken up. Now, Ezekiel had always been bi-curious, but never truly into a guy until he really started to look around. Ezekiel developed a crush on one of the personl trainers at his local gym, only to be flushed from hope when he found that the burly German Shepard already was married. How he coul of missed that had struck up a blank with him. After that, though; he had been looking at the world a bit differently. And then came Draco's death, which really brought to his realization how close, mentally, Draco and Andol had been. Draco's death was the day Ezekiel had realized how loving a gay relationship could be. Unfortunately, this was the only good outcome of it. Everything else was in ruins.

Now that he actually thought about it, he wasn't sure why exactly he hasn't taken some time to get to know Andol better after Draco's death. He really could've used a friend at that time. But he shrugged off the thought; at least they could talk now. "So, Andol." He said, turning towards the human male again. "How have you been? S' been awhile since we spoke last." Ezekiel took another swig of his water and sat again beside the younger male. He looked over to Andol, a bit hunched over. You could say the gryphon was pretty damn tired after driving so far to reach the school again. A five hour drive, straight. Early this morning he had left to get here at a fairly reasonable time, only stopping once for food and a few times for gas. He stretched his arms and laid the bottle at his side on the bare bed, resting his taloned hands in his lap.
