It had been approximately 2 years since Kazrian awakened to find the world he had once known completely over run by humans, and that all the ancient races he had once known were now considered fantasy and myth. During the past two years he acclimated himself with the new cultures, digging a bit of his gold hoard in order to make sure he lived the good life among the creatures he considered inferior. Though nowadays he planned a new future, not only for him but for this whole world. He smirked, now planning to seek out any remaining females of the ancient races, to not only propogate their races, but to further his own, as well as pass on the best traits of their races as well as the women to his children.

Kazrian smirked softly as he sat down in the cafe he visited frequently, contemplating his plan to replace humans with dragons as the dominant race of the planet. However, as expected, finding the ancient races was no simple walk in the park. He watched people pass by, figuring he would find the most beautiful human females he could in order to pass on their appearances, as well as the tenacity for surviving and evolving that was a part of the human race. He continued watching the crowds, blinking as he thought he saw something out the corner of his eye.

The breeze from passing traffic rustled her hair, desert eyes gazed impatiently at the pedestrian signal. Hurrying across with the small group of other people. Shaking her head, she swore that light never changed as she moved towards the small cafe. A beautiful young woman, brilliance showed in those entrancing eyes; living in the city as she finished up her schooling for liberal arts with a concentration in politics. Pulling the strap of her weighted book sac to sit on her shoulder right, she eased into the cafe. The warm, rich scent of fine coffee and sweet cream spilled around her, her voice melodic and smooth, "Sorry I'm late!" Having just made it in time for her shift, a little extra spending cash to have after her school day was done was the only reason she had this job. She was saving for a nice car, but her entire schooling was a free ride from a gracious scholarship.

Hurrying behind the counter, dropping her bag onto a metal table as she pulled off her jacket and laid it over the bag. The person she was relieving told her what had to be done. After they left, she sighed, alone on her shift and left to cater the few patrons that would come in before closing. Perfect time to study! Pulling on the stained black apron, she poured herself a cup of coffee, adding just a little honey to it.
