His entire life it seemed as though his father had one all important subject constantly going, which left no time for him. Even when his mother had been hospitalized for cancer his father never came, and at the age of ten he was confused as to why his father felt the need to focus on something other than his family. Only now that his father was hospitalized for illness did he understand, since the older man finally informed him as to what had kept him away. Somehow it seemed strange that his father would be trying to dig up information on a superstition such as Vampires, but he seemed to believe that they were the key to immortality. Which had sparked an interest in the young man, since if immortality were true then he would not lose any more people that were close to him.
Thus a new period in his life started once his father passed, and so he poured himself over all of the information his father had collected. He looked for anything that could possibly give any hints as to where he should start his searching, despite following in his father's footsteps Cayden decided to keep a normal life at least until he was out of school. So started his days in school, and his nights of intensive studies. Then his graduation from high school came which meant he was free to devote all of his time to his work, but since his graduation he found nothing of use.
Now he was twenty-eight, had been all over the world looking for anything that would give him something to work with. Nothing had shown up until he made his way back to his home, and this something came in the form of drunken whispers at one of the local bars. "You 'ear 'bout the new pace that opn cross the river? Cause I hear s'mthin s...strange goin on there...." one drunken man said to his friend as they sat next to Cayden at the bar. His eyebrow quirked as he heard this, and silently he paid for his drink as well as the two next to him.
'I hope I can find some information from this place.' he thought to himself, but with only a hand full of hours left until sunrise he figured it might be best to see what he could find on the place first. After finding everything he could Cayden slept, and made himself slightly presentable by running his fingers through his red hair as the sun began to set. He weighed in at 190 pounds, and his six foot two inch frame had several people laugh at him, which they learned the hard way was a mistake as he had trained his body for trying to find and capture Vampires. Making his way over to the establishment he looked around curiously, not having ever seen anything like it around before.
